What a cool spot! I found this off a Reddit thread and I honestly would have never known otherwise. It's located in a tucked away strip mall off Litchford, it has a big patio but inside it has walls of whisky (the largest collection in the southeast apparently). We grabbed a few spots at the bar and live music was playing outside on this beautiful evening, lots of families buzzing around. The bartenders were really good, knowledgeable, and on it. I had the cocktail of the week which was a gin and Prosecco concoction and hubby had draft pumpkinhead, it's the season. Both good choices! They have TVs if you want to watch the game and big tables to just chill. I'm assuming you can bring in food too from the nearby spots. Overall loved this hidden gem! We will be back! read more

a friend and I stopped in while on a business trip after a coworker recommended this place, and it completely exceeded my expectations. I'll admit, seeing it next to a Food Lion didn't exactly set the bar high, but the moment I walked in and saw the massive wall of bottles stretching to the ceiling, I knew I'd misjudged it. The bartender with the blue hair was outstanding. (Did her job so well I cannot remember her name for the life of me). She explained how everything worked, pointed us toward great beer options in the back cooler, and then really impressed us by taking time to understand both my taste and my friend's despite us having totally different bourbon preferences. She gave thoughtful recommendations at multiple price points and tailored each suggestion specifically to what we liked. Knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely fun to talk to. The regulars were friendly, the atmosphere felt welcoming, and the whole place has that hidden-gem neighborhood vibe you hope to find when traveling. I loving going there with my GF and her pups! They have indoor and outdoor seating and they welcome outside food. Good thing, because the Lemongrass Thai place actors the way has great takeout! Funny encounter, was there with my girlfriend and here pups, and some random drunk guy said we were good together. He said he could tell, and I was a good guy. He said we should get married. I have recently started drinking more of the specialty-type beers that you can't just get anywhere. Looking for a particular beverage, the "Where to Find" suggested Hoppy Endings. Easy to find, a very large establishment! Huge bar on the one side and lots of beverage choices on the huge shelves on the other side. I've been there a few times now and met a different person each time, but all were engaging and very knowledgeable about their inventory. I'm in love with all of these local bars I've been visiting and Hoppy Endings is one of my new favorites! The decor is stunning and cozy with a giant wall filled with all kinds of liquor at the bar, picnic tables, couches, tvs, etc. You can buy cans of beer on one side and take a chance with a mystery beer on the other for $2 (I got a sour and it was good)! The bartender was friendly and the customers were welcoming. I didn't know a single person there (besides my husband) but they all treated us as if we were long time friends. Hoppy Endings is also dog friendly which is amazing to just sit back, enjoy a beer, a pet a dog or two. This truly is one of the best bars I've ever been to. Fun little place with great scotch, bourbon, whiskey and beer choices. We were visiting friends and their son told them to bring us here. He nailed it. Staff is one solo bartender that does a fantastic job. Three of us enjoyed a Isle of Sky Scotch on the rocks (nice pour) for $8 - can't beat that. The boys had a few local brews and enjoyed them. Great suggestion by the bartender. Loved the vibe. Plenty of outside seating but it's too cool inside to sit out there. They were fairly busy for a Tuesday night. They don't serve food but we saw lots of folks bring their own snacks etc. If we were locals we'd be here all the time!! read more

I was here for an outdoor event, and it was busy. The beer tap was generating foamy Sam Adams and the place was short staffed. Getting the first beer was easy, except for the foam issue... when I tried to get in for the second beer, only 1 person tending bar and a line several people deep. This is absolutely my new favorite place!!! The place is super cozy and comfy with awesome bartenders. It's a bottle shop and awesome bar to hang out in. They will open any bottle for you to enjoy while you are there and you can buy bottles and six packs to take home. They also have a HUGE whiskey selection! They gave us a three ring binder to look through when making our whiskey selection. You're sure to find something you like! They also have a pretty big cider collection. I love cider and they offered quite a few that I had not had before. They have corn hole boards and an outdoor seating area. They also have some card games and board games that you can play. Great place!! We came here when we were visiting family for the holidays and wanted a spot to go out of the house. It was everything great! We have a dog and brought her along. The bartender was great, made great cocktails and was super friendly to us and the pup. There are so so so many options for whiskey and beers and really everything in between. We definitely recommend it for any taste! We were only two but they also had a good amount of indoor tables for larger parties and so many picnic tables outside for days with better weather. Was there this past weekend and got two drinks. I gave a $3.00 tip which I clearly wrote on my receipt, but when I checked my bank statement, they conveniently added a $7.00 tip! There is no food only liquor and beer. Such a unique place. Service was very good. Ambiance is Very boho. The menu is literally on the wall. I don't know how this bar remained hidden from me for so long. Not sure how long they've been open, but I see some reviews from 12/2016... whattt??? Anyways, glad I found it because this may be my new favorite bottle shop in Raleigh. Really, it isn't fair to call it exclusively a bottle shop because their liquor selection is RIDICULOUS! It looks like the liquor goes up forever and ever like the wall from Game of Thrones (sorry, I've been rewatching all the seasons again for like the 6th time). I mostly care about the beer though, and their selection of beers is fantastic as well. I like that they keep a good selection in the coolers that you can drink on site. I just love everything about the place. How it is decorated, the comfortable seats,the chill vibe, everything. They also have several specials for cocktails to choose form. There is also a large selection of bottled beer in coolers that they will pour for you. You can also peruse their store and take home a 6 pack to enjoy later. There are a lot of unique options here to choose from. In other words, there's a lot to choose from here!
