I'm not sure what has happened to this place but it has changed over the last year, I have been coming here for years and something has changed maybe management maybe ownership but this place is not the same they don't seem to care wheather come here or not nobody sys thanks the service is extremely slow and extremely unfriendly and they are very inefficient ,before when I came here they pulled my car in for me, now they want me to pull the car in myself while they watch with disgust on their face. This is the second time I bring my car to this car wash and both times had been horrible. They always leave the car dirty as if they had not done anything, they do a shallow cleaning even if I pay extra. The first time I lost an accessory of the car and what they said is that the vacuum cleaner swallowed the accessory. I think i wouldn't go back to this place anymore!! read more

Rude as soon as I pulled up. The guy deflected but I'm assuming he thought I was just going to drive up myself, even still don't scrunch your nose up at me and then stop to watch as if irritated, strike one. Then, I come in and am not greeted, instead made to wait as the cashier sweeps, strike two. Then, as I'm handing you my ticket, you take another customer to give them change, strike three. Horrible car wash... I should have know by the attendant ignoring me when I pulled up but I gave it a shot anyway. I got the "ultimate" was which was $28.99. I had to ask the detailer guy to spot clean a bunch on obvious spots of tree sap, the bugs off the front of the car, and to wash the rubber floor mats that had sand and dirt all over them. My dash has greasy streaks all over it. Just a really sub-par experience. read more

I really can't review the car wash for their service because it's impossible to get your car detailed here. I came 4 times in a month and a half period looking for detailing and every time was turned down. The first time he said I was too late (I was there at 3:30 and they close at 5:30, fair enough). The second time I was told multiple people he called out of work so they couldn't do detailing. The third time I was told that they sent people home because they thought it might rain. Finally, today I made sure to check the weather and made sure to come early at 11:30 and was told that they decided not to do any more detailing today. No real explanation of why. When I told the attendant it was the 4th time in a short period that they could t serve me, he didn't really seem to care. I know it's not his fault, but come on! Been there twice and don't plan to go back. If you pay $30 to have your car cleaned and vacuumed you expect just that. When the windows aren't cleaned and there are still bugs on the front and you point it out to the person working on your car, you don't expect to have to point out every window and every bug. They need to focus on doing the job right rather than doing it fast and making a buck. The last time I went I had to take the car back to get them to clean up a mess they made on my mat. No thanks. Went to this car wash, Hoppys, with a gift certificate that I got for my birthday. They did a good job EXCEPT when I got into my car the next morning I noticed that there was about a 6 inch swirl scratch on the windshield. I tried to rub on the scratch with a microfiber cloth to see if it was just superficial. Nope. It was a really good scratch. I went back to Hoppys immediately and pointed out the scratch to the, I guess he was, Manager. He said they couldn't have made the scratch because,"It wouldn't be a small scratch like that! It would be all over the windshield!" So his assumption is that a cloth cannot pick up and discard a rock or stone while it is being used. They drop those rags on the ground and pick them up to continue using them all the time. I saw it happen today while I was there asking about the scratch. Its a new car with 8000 miles on it and the rest of the windshield is immaculate. I stated that I guess from his remark that they would accept no responsibility and he said it wasn't their fault. Happy Birthday to me. So the moral of the story is if you have your car washed at this location you are on your own and they accept no responsibility for any damage they incur on your vehicle while it is in their care. read more

This place great with the total car package. Windows are the cleanest compared to any other company around town. Most places I end up getting home and at night you see when someone has done a crappy job with the window wipedown. At Hoppys my windows a flawless. The prices are reasonable and all of my black cars stay swirl free after hundreds of washes because of the care they take with their equipment. read more

Good oil change service. Car wash is alright. The interior clean is never exceptional regardless of how much you pay. I guess I go (few times a year for the past couple years) since it's the closest full service nearby. One time, I pulled up at 5:15pm and the guy walked up with the closed sign that said 5:30. I requested a hand wash and it was way overpriced. I thought they would do a great job so didn't mind the price. They said they would call me when my car was ready, never did, I just showed up and saw my car there yet no one ever called me. Once I got in my car, the passenger seat had smudged grease all over, the panoramic roof glass was never wiped down, and the dashboard looked like it wasn't touched at all either. I like bringing my car here to get it washed and detailed; it always comes out looking like I just bought it off the lot. I took my car once to the Mr. Clean Car Wash and they spent about the same amount of time, charged me more $$$ but my car didn't look nearly as good as it did when the folks at Hoppy's get their hands on it. I hoped I could have gotten my vehicle detailed and be writing a review giving them 5 stars, but that was not the case. I have driven to Hoppy's twice and will not attempt to go again. The first time I went, I had called and was told if I could get in by 4pm, I could get the inside detail. Due to traffic, I got there at 410pm. The people told me that they had already clocked out due to it being a slow day, so they would not detail my car, though they close at 5pm. OK, that was frustrating, but I had gotten there 10 minutes after 4pm. I hesitated to try a 2nd time, but I called to make certain and make sure I got there earlier. The employee I spoke to on the phone was curt with me on the phone, but I overlooked it because as long as I could get my car decently detailed, that is all that mattered. She suggested I get there before 330pm. I got there at 2pm. I was motioned to read a sign saying to drive up to a different location for a wash. Like he though I couldn't read, but I overlooked that too. I wanted a detail not a car wash only. I drove up, he was polite, asked me which wash I wanted. I said I actually wanted a detail. he said we can not do it, we close at 5pm, we already have a car here, and one guy is leaving for vacation. I told him this is the 2nd time I have been here, that I was told to get there by 330pm, and I left work early to get there at 2pm. He just said sorry. So I will never go back again and waste my time. Fortunately, I did find another auto detail place in the area, they were very kind in my communication with them, and they did a great job. Awesome service and great employees! Took my new white SUV in to get a pretty bad coat of dirt and pollen removed. When the automatic wash didn't quite get everything off, the GM actually took it back and scrubbed it by hand until it was completely clean. Always get great results from the basic interior cleaning, too. Definitely recommend as a reliable and affordable place in downtown Marietta. read more

My boss has had his vehicles as well as many of our company vehicles detailed at Hoppy's Car Wash many times because they have always done a wonderful job on detailing vehicles. However the most recent experience I wasn't as thrilled. I do have to say though that there customer service is great. I recently took my bosses SUV to get detailed at Hoppy's but on my first visit they were really busy and it was taking longer than I had anticipated. So I decided to leave and come back at another time when I had more time. The casher was very helpful and said that when I came back they wouldn't charge me again but that they would do the rest of the detailing when I came back. Well after a few days I took the vehicle back and they started on the rest of the detailing. I did ad a hand wax when I came back but other than that they didn't charge me again. Although, my main complaint is after they detailed the SUV, I still found dog hairs and crumbs in the vehicle. I wan't very pleased and neither was my boss. So if you want an ok detailing job done that has great costumer service then take your vehicle here but unless they pick up their slack I most likely will not be coming back. read more

Got my car detailed there yesterday! Had a close encounter with a box of spray paint cans that flew off the back of a work truck on 85N and exploded all over the hood, bumper and headlights of my minivan. Tried everything I could think of, besides a new paint job, to get the spray paint off. Nothing worked. Took my car in to Hoppy's, and you cannot tell that there was ever a problem!
