I don't know if I went on a really good day, but I had a pleasant experience. This was afternoon on a weekday, so not very crowded at all. From the time I pulled in, to leaving the lot, it was maybe 15 minutes. After I turned into the lot, I was greeted by an attendant, and I opted for the $30 Ultimate Wash. Took a seat outside for a bit, and when they pulled my car to the final section to get wiped down, I went inside to pay. A few minutes later, a young man opened my door, let me look around, and was very courteous as he told me to have a good day. The inside was clean, smelled nice without being overwhelming. I drive a little further to come here. I've never been a fan of machine washers but the owner explained how their operation was not a standard machine. He knows how to protect today's cars. I like it when he's there because everything runs smooth. Overall I trust them to get my car clean. I believe they give normal cars the same level of attention as the exotic or higher end cars. Ok if I could provide a few recommendations. Use paper to clean windows. I know the towels are a reusable product, but paper ensures no streaks! I generally have to go behind you and get the inside glass clean. Also it you are going to condition the dash with that oily greasy stuff. Wipe it down with a new rag afterwards to ensure you it doesn't look like you sprayed it with crisco. read more

Needed a quick detailing due to a car sick accident from my little one. They were available to assist on short notice (Sunday afternoon close to closing), and I was in and out in about 20min. The area to clean wasn't large, but with carpet and tight crevices, I wasn't going to chance trying to clean it myself. Reasonably priced. I wasn't a fan of being asked if I wanted cash back to leave a tip. That was a little cash-grabby to me. If anything, they could have a sign at the register that states tips are preferred in cash, or that they can't take tips on a card. read more

This has become my "go to" car wash. I guess I should feel fortunate that I haven't had a bad experience like other fellow Yelpers. I tried this place after getting a groupon or something and loved it. It had even expired and the owner was very friendly about still taking it. I go to many car wash places in Marietta. You can't swing a cat without hitting a car wash on Johnson Ferry Road or Hwy 41. I've tried them all and always leave feeling like my car should be cleaner or the staff could at least acknowledge me. At Platinum everyone is friendly and my car is always left spotless. It does seem higher priced than other car washes but then again, you get what you pay for. I also like that this place isn't corporate, it's owner Bob is always there. I haven't developed a customer relationship with him yet since I'm the type of gal that gets a wash and reads a book silently while the minions wash and dry my car. However, I can appreciate everything he does to keep it running smooth and make the experience positive. read more

Terrible car wash! Just had our pickup truck washed there and have never had a worse job done. Not only did they not even wipe the dash but under the doors, inside the door jams and the exhaust pipes still had the grime from the street. Complete failure; the wiped the rims but didn't wipe where they curve in and they didn't clean the running boards past the curve. Its almost like they don't bend over to check their work. We are complaining and returning to have it redone but will never be back. The lady there told my wife they should have charged more than sixty dollars but she gave us a break...LOL Breaks like that are useless. I don't know how they stay in business. read more

I have been doing business at this place for years. Yesterday, I went in with a car that had been sitting under​ trees for several months. I agee that it did not look good. I was met by a terse, hostile woman who told me that she would not, "put this car through her tunnel unless I paid $30 for an acid wash." First of all, I'm pretty sure this is not "her tunnel" because I've never seen her before. After reading some of the reviews, it looks like this scam has been tried on other customers. BTW, I wonder what kind of acid they planned to use that would be safe for the paint and seals on the car not to mention the destruction that would​ be caused by putting acid into the sanitary sewer system. I brought the car home and​ did what I have done since I started my career in my dad's new car dealership detail shop; I washed the car with soap and water and the black tree residue came off easily as I knew it would. I am mad at myself for not cleaning the car at home in the first place. This is what I get for being lazy. I will not be using the last punches on my discount card. It is very disappointing to see the staff of this place engaging in dishonorable activities. Had I proceeded with the $60+ proposition, the woman told me that she would not guarantee that the car would be clean. Awful service, terrible car wash, and little attention to detail. Groupon pointed me towards this place with their seemingly good deal on their Ultimate Car Wash. I used it twice over the past week; once for myself and a second time for a friend's car. Both times the car wash was horrendous, with visible dirt and grime on the outside and leaves and grass on the inside. They did not clean the inside of the windows, and - on the inside - I saw little evidence that a vacuum was used in this "car wash". The dashboard had visible dust throughout, and the leather seats had streaks of were they attempted to wipe them off. It seems like they rather be quick than effective, since both times they returned the car within 10-15 minutes, which is very fast, but whats the point? I'd rather wait a good 30-45 minutes and have a good, decent car wash. The end result was that I hand washed my own car once I got home, and I really noticed how poor of a job Platinum Auto Spa did. I highly suggest anyone looking for a good car wash to look elsewhere, but if you're in a hurry and only want a "hose down" then this is definitely the place for you. But seriously, just wait for the next time it rains, since that will likely be more effective than an "Ultimate Car Wash" at this place. read more

I went to platinum auto spa for an ultimate car wash with interior and exterior cleaning. I found their voucher on living social.com for $15. The package is supposed to do following service, Vacuum Interior Dust Dashboard/Console Clean Door Jams Under Body and Wheel Well Flush Foam Conditioner Wheel Cleaner Black Magic Tire Shine Triple Foam Conditioner Rain-X Complete Surface Protectant But what I got is a very bad exterior car wash and half done interior cleaning. I was asked to add compound orbital wax, the total costed me around $120 plus the living social voucher, The service is not worth $50. I will avoid all living social deals in future. BEWARE: IT IS NOT A HAND WASH, AUTOMATIC CAR WASH WITH BRUSHES!! AND PLEASE AVOID THIS CAR WASH AT ALL COSTS. read more

Purchased the "Bumper to Bumper Detail" and was left sorely disappointed. For the exterior, I've gotten better washes from a drive through tunnel wash. There was still alot of dirt (and dust!) on the exterior after the "orbital wax" and "tire shine" and all the other stuff they supposedly did. Fortunately I was able to take a rag once I got home and wipe away all the leftover dirt in 5 minutes... Severely disappointed. No underbody or wheel well flush was performed as advertised either. Had to hose it down myself. The interior was no better. They did actually vacuum the floor though... They left areas untouched that should have been handled such as the console, and it honestly seemed like their interior solution was to make everything glossy with a thick coat of wax - yuck! All in all I was left sorely disappointed. I moved so I've been looking for a new car wash, the old car was I went to where I used to live would do an immaculate job for half the price and half the time. Granted, that service wasn't a "detailing" it was just a normal wash. But that distinction doesn't matter here when neither was received. read more

While they did a good job cleaning my car, the price is higher than their competition and their facility is in need of some TLC. I love the fact that this is locally owned, but it will be important for Bob to keep up with his competition in order to make this placefolks first choice. Superficial wipe down of interior, rubber floor mats still have "stuff" in the grooves and they didn't even touch the trunk interior. Very disappointed - didn't inspect until I got home. Giving my first yelp review to this place... It only took them 10 minutes to do their ultimate car wash. Outside cleaning was poor. Interior vacuum was ok, but they had no intention to vacuum my trunk until I opened it and asked them to. They also completely ignored the door jambs and other details. I am not sure if this is the particular level of service at this place or it's just because I used a Groupon deal, which shouldn't make any difference anyway. I purchased the Groupon deal for an ultimate car wash, but what I got was less than their basic car wash. Would never go back to this place and suggest others don't waste their money here. read more

Wonderful staff. The manager was out there working as hard as everyone else. Waiting area had extremely comfy leather couches. They asked for cash back for tip which was awesome. It is really worth for what you are paying. though it was not 99% clean (not expected though), my car looked like a new one after this wash and i hardly found dirty spots except few. Service was very quick and perfect. My car seat color is dull so it is easy to findout marks on it. I noticed couple of black marks happened during this cleaning process. i donnt think its their fault. Still i am so happy with the service provided. read more

I usually use a car wash down the street but wanted to try this out b/c I always saw a line. I am not sure if they are cheaper but they did a TERRIBLE job. I asked for a inside/outside wash and I pretty much had to do it myself when I returned home. I still had bugs on my front bumper, dirt on my rims and water droplets everywhere. THANK GOODNESS IT RAINED! I also had to clean the inside because that was done poorly as well. I was so angry I couldn't even drive back! I wouldn't recommend using this place to ANYONE. Drive 2 minutes down the road for a lower price and just do it yourself. Save yourself the trouble. Also, other family members tried after my experience and had the SAME issues. I tried to love this place but they didn't impress. To be fair, I even went back two more times after the first "meh" wash. No dice. The staff are friendly and efficient, but the attention to detail is lacking. Another big pet peeve -- the one that sent me into negative review land-- there is always a puddle of dirty water in the final detail area. The pavement isn't graded properly and the puddles never drain. Accordingly, they finish cleaning your car then you immediately drive through dirty water. Over and over I watched them finish detailing a car, then drive it through a puddle of dirty water. Sometimes peoples' tires miss the water, much of the time though, they drive right through it SPLASH! The last time I had my car washed I sat watching as the worker finished my car then drove it right through the puddle, splashing water all over my fenders. My jaw dropped as he then raised his hand; "finished"! WTH? I pointed out the problem (he seemed truly surprised) and he quickly wiped it down again, but I guess it never occurred to him that he was soiling the cars he just cleaned? Naturally, when I got home I had to wipe my car down again, because there was still dirty water in the tire treads which flew up on the paint after I pulled out. I realize this isn't exactly a high paying job, but if you don't take any pride in your work, what's the point? And where is the manager? Does he/she not notice the puddle problem? For that matter, where's the owner? Does he/she not realize the finish detail area doesn't drain? Not cool. Not the auto spa for my beloved BMW. read more

I asked for a full detail when I pulled up. He argued with me saying I don't need a full detailed. He starts negotiating with me lowering the service. I thought that was odd. Ended up being about 50$. I drive an older car so that was reasonable. It only took about 25 minutes tops. I explained I had reading to catch up so no rush. When they are done they did an okay job..I was expecting more to be honest. One of the guys who did the actual cleaning was next to me as I am inspecting my car after it was such a short time. I love this place! I called ahead to ask what the latest time I could show up for a platinum wash would be, and he told me 6:30. I made it right at 6:30, and the guy (I wish I had his name) said they were waiting for me because I had called which I thought was nice. It was near closing time, which made me afraid they would rush through my wash and not do a thorough job. It was done lightning fast (he told me that they put an extra person on it since there were no more customers), and I was very impressed! My car was gleaming and spotless. This has been the ONLY full service car wash I've used since moving to GA. Today I checked online for their hours before driving 15 mins to get there. They close at 6pm on Sunday's & it was only 5:07. Plenty of time! I get there at 5:37 and they have cones up blocking the entrance. So I ask "don't u close at 6?" The kid goes inside and comes back out to ask me if I'm a monthly member; if NOT they can't wash my car. WTF? So I go inside & the guy behind the counter says "if u got here by 5:40 I could have washed your car" Uh it's 5:37 but it wasn't worth the argument. Closing 5 mins early UNDERSTANDABLE but 23 mins early No. Very disappointed that I would be treated any different than a monthly customer!! read more
