Staff was super friendly! Met the owner and she was awesome! My friend and I don't drink at the moment so she made us both some amazing mocktails!! Food was also delicious. Perfect place for a girl's night out.

We tried this fairly new wine tasting room. Food was very good as well as the wine. Very cozy place to enjoy a nice relaxed evening. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. Service was superb, they took care of us. It felt like visiting friends from long ago. Fridays and Saturdays they have live music. Will be there to enjoy tomorrow, looking forward to a great evening!

This was our first time and was very impressed with the service, food and wine. Ambiance is wonderful and loved Michelle and Tommy(owners)! We will go back and highly recommend!

Amazing wine and crafted beer, did I said BEER? Their selection and the food to pair with is original Puerto Rican food. The attention from the owners and staff is one of a kind. You got to be here no other place in town has original Puerto Rican original food. Tell them Freedy recommended you. Five point starts service. Let me know if I'm lying.

I had to order the Adult Mac & Cheese, and let me tell you--it never disappoints. This dish is the definition of comfort food. The creamy cheese sauce, earthy mushrooms, and rich truffle flavor are always perfectly balanced. It's one of those meals I can count on being consistently delicious every single time. My husband ordered one of their burgers and upgraded his fries to the Garlic Parmesan Fries. If you're a garlic lover, I highly recommend making that upgrade. The garlic flavor is bold and intense in the best way possible. It's great to know this location delivers the same quality and consistency as every other Yard House I've visited. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, the staff worked hard to keep up with everyone and still provided friendly, attentive service. If you're looking for consistently great food with a menu that has something for everyone, this Yard House is definitely worth a visit!

Prior to moving to the DC area in 2011, I lived in Phoenix. I had been to all 3 Valley locations Glendale (Westgate), Phoenix (Desert Ridge), & Scottsdale (Fashion Square Mall) [Scottsdale one no longer exists]. My 1st visit to a Yard House ever was this Glendale location in 2008. My friend invited me to this location citing their great happy hour. I remember I liked the sliders on the happy hour pricing, which was cheap back then. A wide variety of beer options and huge glasses the length of a half yard. A full yard would be difficult to drink and way too much beer to drink in one sitting; plus the beer would get warm & flat by the time you'd finish a whole yard of beer. Staff was nice at the Glendale location. Now, 18 years later happy hour is still good albeit different and yes more expensive but still good deal relative to normal price.

The service was unmatched. From the Valet parking to the front desk. Also, our server was the absolute best! I felt like there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for us. He was very happy and upbeat. I think his name was J. He is a big part of the reason the visit was so special. The food was mostly excellent. I got a petite filet and lobster tail with Caesar salad and fried brussel sprouts. I do love them crunchy and they were. The salad barely had any dressing. It would have been better with a little more. My fault for not asking. Now the steak; my whole reason for the trip. Honestly, a little disappointing. The cut was beautifully tender. That why I love a good filet. Unfortunately, there was very little caramelization on the outside. I would have enjoyed more. Also, there didn't seem to be very much seasoning. I like it a little more on the salty side, but I am sure others don't. I'm sure I could request it next time. Last, the lobster tails made up for any possible shortcomings in anything else. It is rare, that I have one as perfect as these were. Absolute heaven! Sure, I'll be back. I know exactly how to order my perfect meal now. Stellar job folks!

Continuing through American established restaurants by state, for New York, Grimaldi's Pizzeria…read more When I lived in AZ, I had Grimaldi's a few times and thought their pizza was great. I moved away to the DC area in 2011, but visited my parents in general around Christmastime. Then, in late January-early February 2021, I helped my parents move across the US to where they live now in Lancaster, PA, only about 100 miles drive instead of a long flight across the US. My dad let me have his birthday free Grimaldi's pizza since they were busy with moving stuff. I drove from my parents far west valley home on the last day they were there for an early dinner on that warm Thursday, January 28, 2021. They had plenty of outside seating, which I opted for. I feel like the inside was closed for dine-in because of Covid, but I was also trying to be cautious as I didn't want to catch Covid while driving my parents across the US. Thankfully, it was a beautiful Sunny & 75 F with calm winds. On that note, on that Sunday 4 days earlier when I left DC, I ate outside before getting to DCA airport (even I think having the option to eat inside) with a cold 38 F high, but I was being super careful before my trip. The server was friendly & efficient. I got a pizza with sausage. It was a thin NY style pizza, which was delicious, although I stopped eating pork later in 2021. But there are a wide variety of toppings, and I would have found something else good that would've worked. Additionally, I opted to buy dessert to be nice; some Oreo cake, which was solid. But the real highlight is their delicious pizza.

I made a reservation in advance to meet my family for dinner before a nearby event. When I called that morning, I initially requested a 4:00 PM reservation. The employee explained that their pizza oven is unavailable from approximately 3:15-4:15 PM for a routine process they perform on the oven, so pizza would not be available during that time. Because we were specifically coming for pizza, I asked if moving our reservation to 4:15 PM would work instead. I was told yes and that the oven would be ready at that time. Based on that information, I moved our reservation rather than looking elsewhere for dinner. I arrived before my family, and almost immediately after sitting down, the server greeted me by asking, "Did they tell you it's going to be 45 minutes for a pizza?" Apparently, the oven was still not ready. I explained that I had specifically moved our reservation to 4:15 because I was told the oven would be available then. Had I been told there was a possibility of another 45-minute wait, I simply would have made a reservation somewhere else. I appreciated the server being upfront about the wait once I arrived, but this should have been communicated when I made the reservation. I was also disappointed with how the situation was handled. Being immediately greeted with a warning about a 45-minute wait, rather than an acknowledgment or apology for the miscommunication, was not a great way to start the experience. I was surprised there did not appear to be a manager available to address the situation or offer any kind of accommodation. We ultimately left and found another nearby restaurant that was able to accommodate our family before our event. I used to enjoy coming to this location, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, after the poor communication and lack of customer service, I don't see myself returning.

I understand some people like that, but I wish they would have lightened up the amount and just have people ask for more if they want that. I ordered the chicken & broccoli alfredo. Sauce was clearly made in house, but the pasta itself was generic and did not taste like it was homemade. Good amount of protein though. We also ordered the mango and classic cannolis, and these stole the show. Flaky to perfection! If we come back, we might try the pizzas to see how it compares to the pasta.

But each time I come it's like the service gets slower. First off, I ordered a spicy Michelada, and it took forever to be served. After I ordered the drink, I noticed a person who came in after us ordered a corona and was served before my Michelada was ever started. I had to remind the server two or three times. Meanwhile, everyone else in my party had already received their soda. Once my Michelada was brought to the table, it was not spicy, but I still drank it anyway. The same thing happened last time I visited, but I was hoping it was just a one off situation. Last time, someone in my party was ready for a refill of her soda before my Michelada ever came. So moral of the story here is, if you order a drink other than a soda or a bottled beer, expect to wait 30 minutes for your drink to be served even though you might be the only party dining in cuz they clearly give priority to their take out orders. As far as the food, that was also disappointing this time. I do love their quesabirria taco, but this time the tortilla was a little soggy and started breaking apart. I also ordered the Vampiro taco with chicken, and this time in particular, for some reason, it had a fishy taste to it. When we told the server about this, all she could do was to knock off the drink off our order because she claimed that everything was made with fresh ingredients. Since I ordered the michelada, she was able to knock off the taco for me. So sad to say I don't plan on coming back here again. Which sucks because it's so convenient after I get my nails done next-door. But every time I've been there, I do feel not as prioritized because of all the to go orders that come in and there only being one server at a time. I get that can be stressful to handle, but I would think making a drink for people dining in should come before checking out a to go order.
