The dermatologist's office suggested this pharmacy because the cream would be a bit more affordable. The pharmacy called as soon as they received the prescription and even though insurance would cover the prescription at a much higher cost, they still checked. The cost would have been close to $300 if I went through insurance but if filled directly with Wellness, it was $90. Communication was smooth, I got regular updates via text, even an option to prepay before gong to pick up the prescription. I went by to pick up my prescription around 3pm on a weekday and there was no line and I was in and out with my cream. I removed one star because of the parking situation - I can never get parking here, I used to go to a RN in the same building and it was always bad. For the number of businesses in the building, there is very limited parking in front. You can go around the back and park in the dirt and walk up or park in the underground parking. Basically, it's a bother. Great service and people!

However I was also looking for cotton balls and they were completely out of them. I asked a sales clerk, Leila, where they were and she confirmed that they were completely out. Later I asked her if they would order more and she said yes but didn't really give me much info about it. Seems like a pretty necessary item to have in stock but who knows these days with covid what can be available because I thought for sure Safeway next door would have them but they didn't either. It was easy to find cotton balls a few days ago in Hawaii though. I should have brought them with me back home! I gave them to my friend instead. I'll try ordering from Amazon. Other than that, my mom wanted Sudafed and Leila showed me where it was, so that was great, and I found bobby pins easily which I needed. Overall it was a good experience. The store was pretty nicely organized and had lots of fun stuff, I'm pretty sure I could spend a long time browsing in there and buy a lot of bonus stuff but I didn't do that.

This store is simply not run well. Just look at the overall rating and reviews. I went here to get…read morea single photo print that said was ready. It took nearly an hour. The store itself looked like other Walgreens. Half disarray half organized. Common theme is lack of staff. There was no one in the photo area. I press the button and no one helps me for at least 15-20 minutes. While I'm there there are several people on the main checkout line trying to pay but no staff. However you see staff roaming around. If this was Oakland or some other ghetto area, everyone could have just walked out with merch. Finally someone helps me and the guy was unprofessional and seemed like he was in another world. Another customer came to use the photo automated touch screen and it wasn't working and he made a snide remark to her which prompted her to reply back that he doesn't have to be rude about it. It was a disaster. He found the folder of the photo print, and in the process of checking out, he opened the folder and said the print wasn't actually in there. After fumbling for sometime, another staff member opened the folder and the print was there all along. Like I said, he was out of this world. She leaves and I'm waiting to finally get checked out and he disappears in the back. After more time passes, the other employee comes back and I said I just want to go its been nearly an hour. She finally gets my receipt and in this process that guy comes back out WITH A REPRINT OF THE PHOTO. Like he didn't know what has just been happening this whole time. I took that survey on the receipt and the store manager responded. Clearly Walgreens is going downhill. Look at the reviews of all their stores. It's not good. Corporate needs to come down on all these underperforming stores. They should just stick being just a pharmacy. Walmart, Costco, and CVS seem to be running things much smoother. If you have a bad experience here--which likely you will--do that survey on the receipt.

After having had my prescription refill request for hours, I showed up on my way home to get it. The assistants were very nice, but basically told me it wasn't finished and they weren't allowed to give me an estimated time. When the pharmacist herself came over to speak to me, she was downright hostile and completely unprofessional. She told me I should have my doctor's office just use a different pharmacy, even though they've had my prescription order for most of the day. I would avoid this pharmacy like the plague. This whole pharmaceutical system inside these stores needs to end. Clearly the system has failed.
