This is my local Walgreens. What I love is there are always a tons of clearance items here, ALWAYS…read more What I don't love? Almost everything I come to purchase is locked up! It makes shopping difficult, because I always have to track down multiple employees to do my shopping. What I love? The employees! They're always pretty friendly no matter how understaffed they are. And I guage how much I like a new employee to their response when I ask if they know my childhood friend, Daniel. It's Daniel who makes shopping here the best: no fake small talk, no intention of fake customer service, just real, raw, wonderful interactions. What would make this place five stars? Honestly, the employees always do. But occasionally I watch certain policies enforced that make me cringe, so I'm fairly certain it's just tough for me to GENUINELY support a major corporation. I prefer small businesses, and I'm proud to let my bias show.

No matter what I get from the store (medication, toiletries, snacks/drinks, etc.), the purchasing…read moreprocess is almost always super slow. I'm referring to the front register, not the pharmacy in the back (though I do often see lines and waiting there too). They only ever use one register at the front. If there's a slow customer in front of you, the workers do nothing to resolve the issue or expedite the transaction. And the employees just work slowly, talk slowly, move slowly, press buttons slowly, ask unnecessary questions, cause unnecessary delays... everything is just absurdly slow. This has not changed over the last decade. There can be just one person in front of you at this Walgreens, and it will still take longer than a line of 10 times that many customers elsewhere. I came on Tuesday afternoon to pick up some cold medicine cuz I was feeling under the weather, and yep service is just as inefficient as always. I had planned to get my go-to DayQuil, but then I saw that Mucinex offers its own fast-max version of all-in-one liquid gels and opted to try that instead, so at least they had a variety available to choose from. Still, I only come here when I urgently need something (since it's closeby to where I work). I would avoid this store at all costs otherwise.

I recently transferred my prescriptions from Costco to Walgreens…read more All pharmacists I spoke to on the phone were polite and helpful--a very positive experience.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Walgreens…read more I came in to print over 100 photos and asked if they could apply a discount. There was a 50% coupon available, but instead of simply helping me, the manager, Surendra, insisted that I cancel my order, re-upload all of my photos on the store kiosk, and submit a completely new order. The entire process took almost 30 minutes. I was there with my baby in a stroller, who woke up crying, and instead of trying to make the situation easier, there was no empathy at all. To make matters worse, the store's Wi-Fi wasn't working properly, so the photos were taking a long time to upload. When I mentioned it, Surendra told me to go outside because the upload would be faster there. So I had to stand outside with my crying baby just to upload my photos. Communication was difficult, and when I asked why he wasn't helping me, he repeatedly said, "I'm helping you," then simply walked away while I was still speaking to him. I understand that employees have to follow store policies, but customer service is about more than just policies it's about treating customers with patience, respect, and compassion. This experience was unnecessarily stressful, and I left feeling completely dismissed. I hope Walgreens provides better customer service and support in the future.

Picture if you will: two self checkouts, one broken and the other being used. The customer standing…read moreat the "working" self checkout was having problems with her purchase, but the cashier (brusque Indian woman in her 50s) rudely kept telling her repeatedly to "follow the instructions," although the customer was clearly confused. The cashier never helped her. I waited six minutes in line patiently (one person ahead of me) while she slowly rang up an elderly lady, which is just fine with me, because not every store can be staffed to help all customers at all times. This is a hard job, and I understand that these employees have to deal with rude customers all day. I finally handed my item to the cashier with a smile. The cashier's first action was to berate me for not using the self-checkout. When I started to explain that I got in line because one self-checkout was broken and the other was being used, she interrupted and dismissed me with a wave of her hand, berating me (again) for bringing her a pair of sunglasses (the only pair that fit me!) which had a barcode that wasn't working in her scanner. All this time, she's criticizing a young kid who's working behind her. She refused to help me, refused to let me explain why I couldn't simply bring up a different item which might have a different price. I don't work at CVS. I don't know what to look for. She just began fighting me on it, like it was the most natural thing in the world for her. I threw up my hands and walked out of the store without a purchase. Read some other reviews on this app. There's at least one talking about the same person, the same behavior. I don't care how long I have to wait in line. Like I said, I have compassion for stores that are understaffed and under-trained. I also have endless patience for this kind of thing usually. If anything, I'm the person wanting to make someone's day better if they're having a bad one. But this cashier was needlessly antagonistic, not just to me but to every customer and employee around me, creating an atmosphere and experience so unpleasant that now I'm logging on to f***ing YELP to write you a novel about this CVS location and warn you off it.

The pharmacists here are generally kind, but unfortunately, there's a very, very rude Indian lady…read morewho works both at the front and in the pharmacy as a technician. Her behavior is completely unacceptable. She's consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She never wears a name tag, always keeps a mask on to avoid being identified, and when I politely asked for her name so I could file a complaint, she snapped, "Why do you need my name?" then shouted "Next!" and blatantly ignored me. It's genuinely upsetting that someone with such an attitude is allowed to work in a pharmacy ,a place where people come in vulnerable, in need of care, and deserve kindness. It's disappointing and frankly alarming that this type of behavior is tolerated in a healthcare setting.
