I have been to Horne Mazda Service a few times. The customer service seemed great; informative, patient, friendly. But after getting a totally different quote for a transmission job, I'm speechless. I got quoted ~$1000 more than I needed to, even after opting to pay for a diagnostic check to confirm the issue... Earlier this year, I got an estimate of $3000 for various repairs. I ended up opting for $1,500 of that service and waiting on getting my transmission fixed. I was told that for $99, they would do a transmission fluid leak diagnostic and I ended up paying for this.That indicated that I needed to have a $1200 job done on my car, to fix the transmission. I couldn't afford that after already shelling out so much ($1500), so I waited on service, still feeling dumbfounded that my car all of a sudden needed me to spend so much on it when I hardly drove it anywhere, kept it housed in a garage or carport, etc... Recently, I took my car to a different repair shop. Not only was I NOT asked to pay $99 for a transmission leak diagnostic, I was told that I needed DIFFERENT transmission repairs that Horne had told me earlier in the year. (Feel free to view the photos that show the 2 different quotes for transmission service, from 2 different providers.) What this taught me is to shop around more before agreeing to costly repairs, and don't count on a $99 diagnostic to accurately assess an issue. (And don't mention other quotes when getting a new quote; the service shop that I had gone to immediately after Horne--a 2nd repair shop--wanted to see Horne's paperwork and basically quoted me the same amount for doing the same work...it was the 3rd and last service shop that seemed to get things right.) read more

BUYER BEWARE! This place is horrible! Furthermore this guy named Johnny gave me nothing but the run around! Still waiting to hear back from the GM which I highly doubt will ever happen. I needed to cancel all the add on packages that I felt forced into. It certainly did not feel like a choice and the finance person had a paper covering up most of the documents so I trusted everything was legit. Additionally they never went over kind by line, it was sign here and sign there. I'm not kidding when I say the finance portion took less than -0 minutes. I bought my pearl white CX-5 Signature SUV from Horne Mazda and I have to say, I am very pleased at how "stand-up" these guys are. Josh was our Salesman and he stayed with us the entire day. Alex Duncan and Ben Coffeen were professional and made this the best buying experience you could hope for. Ben and Bridgette not only packaged the loan, they stayed with the transaction from cradle to grave. Although it took some time and there were a few zigs and zags, the tireless customer service is what resulted in a five star review instead of one star. Sometimes, it is not about the transaction being problem free, rather, how the problems are handled. Erich was also fantastic. I must say, John Williamson was a smug, arrogant, wise-guy and could have lost the deal if not for the rest of the caring staff. These people add $600 in document preparation fees and $1,200 in "dealer installed equipment" to every vehicle, spiking the price you'll pay. Despite waht they'll tell you, doc prep fees are a common practice with car dealers. They are not required by law; they are simply a gimmick to wring more money out of buyers. They often pre-print this amount on their contract forms as a ruse to insist they are non-negotiable. Nonsense. Horne Mazda is one of those, and their $600 doc prep fee is the highest I've ever seen. Their "dealer installed equipment" is "poly razzmtaz," a fancy name for washing and waxing the car with a low cost paint sealant, and some sort of etching on the window glass, claiming you can get money back on that if your windows are stolen. How often does that happen? As for their other practices, they lied and said they didn't have a CarFax on the vehicle we selected, and gave us an AutoCheck report instead, which showed no service history for a 4 year old car. While sitting there, I ran a CarFax and it revealed two separate collision repairs on the vehicle, facts the dealer most assuredly knew about but did not disclose. They tried to put us through an extensive credit check for a CASH transaction, even after I showed them my moblie banking account balance far in excess of the purchase price, cliaming they had to be sure we weren't paying with off shore funds, when the account was clearly at Wells Fargo. The car we selected had a sticker price of $19,000, but they had advertised it for $14,600. They eventually agreed to sell it for $12,700, plus the stupid, phony markups, for a total of $14,500. I bought a used vehicle from Horne Mazda back in June of 2020. Three months later I take it into the mechanic and I find out it needs $3000 in repairs. I contacted the dealership and told them what I found it & if I can get some kind of assistance in the repairs. The only thing they would do is offer me a trade in. I don't want a trade in! All I want is to help with the repairs. Horne Mazda's GM completely ignored me & went silent. They have completely ignored all my emails and won't do anything. Something to consider Horne Mazda. Do a better job of vehicle inspection before you sell them. This dealer screwed me and I will never come here ever again. I know I'm just one consumer but I want to get this message out there. It's been more than two months and my car plates haven't even been processed or registered by y'all.......

I found a vehicle on their website that I was interested in, drove down, and went for a test drive. I've since determined that the make and model that I drove is the right one for me, but Horne Mazda is the worst dealership I've ever dealt with, not because we couldn't come to a deal (c'est la vie), but because they constantly ignored what I said and were just plain slimy. Day 1: Found vehicle listed for 17,189 (after 1,000 discount for financing at the dealership) on their website. Scheduled a test drive. The vehicle drove wonderfully, and we talked about price for a few minutes before parting ways. The price of the car ballooned to about $21,750. Probably would have been a touch over 20,500 if the 1,000 off for financing was included. This is basically driven by the fact that there's $1,200 in dealer-installed add-ons that no one really needs. $800 paint seal, and $400 for VTR. We went home because a new car is not a strong need right now, and I wanted some time to mull it over and look at other available cars. Day 3: Get a test from the sales rep, Shay, asking if I'm still interested in the car. I told her I was, but that another dealer was willing to waive off similar dealer add-ons and asked her to do the same. Day 4: Shay finally responds over 24 hours later saying that she'll talk to her manager and asks if I can come down that night to finish the deal if she can make it happen. I work late, so I told her to tell me by 7pm so that I could make it there before they close. This left her with close to an hour and a half to try to make that deal happen. She got back to me after 7pm that they would only take the price down $500, nowhere near the $1,200. No late trip to the dealership. No deal. Day 7: I told Shay that $500 wasn't enough to make the deal and asked her if she could do better. Day 8: Shay responds that she is doing better since that price is better than the price from day 1. Clearly not what I was asking. Day 9: Ryan Deluca texts me and identifies himself as the Internet Director. He says he was taking a look at this deal, and that there's about $300 left in it. He asks if I will move forward if he can do that. I ask him for the out-the-door price because I think that with $800 off we might be getting close enough for me to buy the vehicle. He gave me the new price of $21,457. The price difference (less than $300) from the original quote is now less than the $500 discount offered two days ago. I ask Ryan to email the quote because I never thought they would be so stupid as to raise the price. Day 10: I got the quote. They did it. They actually raised the price. Apparently despite sharing a system to send text messages, Ryan did not know that there was already a better deal on the table. I emailed him back with a thorough explanation. The cherry on top was that the deal that Ryan provided was not even $300 off. It was $270. C'mon. I emailed Ryan and told him that I needed to be at $20,500 out-the-door *before* the $1,000 discount for financing. I am in a position to pay cash, but I'm not going to spend an extra $1,000 if I don't have to. Day 11: I am asked if I am looking to do a deal today. I'm not. I work a lot, and I have no time on this day. Day 12: I ask for follow up to my email. Day 13: He does not seem to have received my email because he came back with the same price, $21,457. I told him that I wrote response to him three days ago. Then Shay's back. She won't go find an "old" (three days!) email. I then sent the email to the addresses listed for both Ryan and Shay on their website. Shay says she isn't even sure she can get back to the original discount offered. I explained my position: I thought the $300 was an additional discount and that I wasted time thinking that they were actually negotiating a deal. I told them via text what I had already told them via email which was that I would buy the car if the price was $20,500 before their financing incentives. She asked what I meant by "financing incentives." I told her that it was "the $1,000 discount to finance the purchase." Duh. Still Day 13: I got a voicemail from Mike saying, that he would accept my offer of $20,500. Okay, now we're cookin'. I make a point to call Mike back the same day to hammer out some fine details. I don't want to spend time in a building with strangers in the middle of a pandemic, so let's make sure our ducks are in a row. We talk about the price, and I tell him that I think I'll finance if there's an extra $1,000 in it for me. Then he starts to pump the brakes saying that he thought I was paying cash. I told him what that what he thought is not what I told Shay. I said that I wanted the discount to finance. He said they wouldn't do that. TL;DR The price was basically the same as if I would have taken the $1,000 discount Day 1. I'm not pleased with them reneging on their stated financing discount (is that even legal?). HORRIBLE!! DO NOT BUY FROM MAZDA!!!! THEY WILL SCAM YOU!! Three days ago I bought a CX-3 and SIGNED the negotiation paper to pay $18,500. When they finalized all the paperwork MAZDA added $350 to the total and sold the car to me for $18,850 instead of the $18,500 that I had agreed too and signed. When I called to ask about this mistake they verified that I did in fact sign for $18,500 but that they don't know the discussions that went on in the finance department. I asked them why I would add $350 to my total and they said they didn't know. I told them this was Mazda's mistake not mine and they said yes but you signed the papers. I electronically signed the paper that the finance woman scrolled through. She didn't go over the price of the car, she only went over the protection plans. So when signing, I was under the impression that it was $18,500 that I had previously agreed to and signed for. When asked what Mazda could do they said nothing because I signed and the paperwork was final. I asked if Mazda would apply that money to my principle and they said no, sorry. I then asked if there was anything they could do in place like some oil changes or something else in house and they said no, we can't do that either. You signed the papers. Then I said, so basically this is a sucky situation for me and I'm out of luck. And the guy said, well I wouldn't exactly put it in those terms but yes. So Mazda knows that this is THEIR MISTAKE and they were not willing to compensate for THEIR MISTAKE. DONT BUY FROM MAZDA! Also, the Finance girl was on her phone texting her boyfriend in the middle of my buying the car. And she was talking about how her boyfriend needed to pick up her son. And then she said out loud, "I don't know his fuc*ing address" and then proceeded to be on her phone. She did not step out of office or ask me to go back into the lobby so she could take care of her personal business, she did it all while I was in the office trying to finalize paperwork. read more

Terrible service, they sold me a car with no AC, then I had to take it in to get the AC fix. Gabrielle in Service was awful to deal with. The first time they just charged it with freon and the AC worked for one day, then it stopped. I had to take it back and Gabrielle would not call me back for 3 weeks, I finally asked to be changed service advisor, and they gave me Troy who is very efficient. I took the car in and they fixed the condenser, then I went to pick it up and the AC still didn't work. They kept if for another 4 days and finally changed the compressor. Mazda obviously is lacking in the Quality Control of both new cars, and then in their service department. No apology has been made for selling me a defective car, nor for wasting all the time trying to get it fixed. I will not be purchasing another Mazda car in the future. read more

Unfortunate experience. Horne Mazda advertised very good prices online. I contacted the dealership and received a quoted selling price of $32,119 plus taxes and 60 month financing at 0%. I offered to sign a Purchase Agreement and put $1,000 on my credit card. Several hours went by. I called twice more. I had already purchased my airline ticket to purchase the CX-5 in Arizona. Then suddenly $2,296 extra appeared on the email order. This jacked the price up more than an average Mazda dealer was quoting. This was not honest. Apparently the "Selling Price" is not the selling price when you deal with Horne Mazda. This left a wasted afternoon and a bitter taste in my mouth. read more

Pretty terrible car buying experience I had here and I'm happy to say, I left this dealership without making a deal. I felt like I was being ripped off and sold a car at a grossly inflated price. When I first walked in I was greeted by Dennis, one of the certified sales consultants. He asked what brought me in and I told him I was interested in a new Mazda 3 sedan with the premium package. Rather than looking to see what he had in stock, he decided to walk the entire lot with me and a saleswoman he was training. Ordinarily I'd be ok with this but it took a lot of time and it was windy and cold that day. We walked the entire lot and we had to walk through the service area, trekking through dirt and oil only for him to tell me that they didn't have one in stock. He then brought me over to two 2019 Mazda 3's they were selling that were old service vehicles. Each had about 4,000 miles on them and man, both looked pretty rough. Now, I'm not in the business of selling cars but if I was I'd make sure my cars were at least clean and in proper working order before I tried to sell them. We test drove one of them and I could tell the alignment was off and the interior looked like it had been through hell. I wasn't really that interested in purchasing that car so I had him work up the numbers on a new 2020 model. This is where they lost me. The car's sticker was $27,000 and some change, which they had marked down about $1,000. They then add this ridiculous $2,700 package that includes window tint, door edge guards, an armor all protection...all of it seems GROSSLY inflated. $800 for window tint?! Please... So I tried to work a deal but the vehicle I was interested in wasn't at the dealership yet so they couldn't really do anything. Because of this, Dennis decided to sell me on one of the 2019 models. They again, added the $2,600 package in, which I thought was ridiculous since it was a service vehicle, over a year old, with 4,000 miles on it. As far as I'm concerned, the dealership absorbed those costs already and shouldn't be charging someone full price for all of that. I hate when dealers do this because it's a huge scam and a way for them to make money. Anyway, I decided to look at the second 2019 vehicle they had, which had less miles on it but again, the interior was dirty, there were scratches all over the center console, the battery was dead, and the cover over the cupholders was broken. Like C'mon...you're going to show me a dirty vehicle with a dead battery? It just shows how they don't care for their vehicles, at least that's how it came across to me. He tried to tell me the vehicle was certified pre-owned but I don't believe that because in order for a car to gain pre-owned certification they usually have to do an inspection. I feel if an inspection was done, they would have caught all these issues: the alignment on the other vehicle, the dead battery, the broken cupholder cover, etc. Also, Dennis didn't really seem too knowledgable about some of the vehicle features. He went to show me the voice commands and couldn't get them to work and then there were some things he would show me but couldn't find where they were. Also, when I pointed out the scratches on the center console, Dennis proceeded to minimize my claim and appear that he did not want to deal with it, stating that windex would probably get the scratches out. When plastic scratches, it scratches. There's little you can do to get the scratches out and it usually needs to be replaced. I don't know why Mazda would put materials that scratch easily in a high traffic area. Doesn't make sense. What also turned me off toward Dennis is when I was trying to negioatate the deal, I was comparing the Mazda to my current vehicle, which is a fully loaded Hyundai Elantra. Dennis proceeded to put down the Hyundai brand and my vehicle, which came off as quite offensive and I'm a hard person to offend. I wound up putting a $500 deposit down to hold the 2020 Mazda 3 when it came in and then I asked Dennis if he would let me know how much it would be to replace the plastic panels on the center console that were all scratched up on the 2019 model. He said he would contact me on the following Monday with all the figures and would also let me know the eta on the 2020. Dennis did contact me but it wasn't with the figures or the eta on the 2020, but it was to try more sales tactics. I sent him an email the night before with what I was wanting to do, but the email address on his business card was wrong. He sent me a different email address, which didn't work either. I took this as a sign to walk away. Plus they were asking WAY too much for the car. With $3,000 down on an 84 month loan, my payment was going to be well over $400/month. That was before any sort of extended warranty, GAP insurance, etc. The car was nice but not worth what they were charging. I wound up telling Dennis I wasn't interested and had to dispute the $500 deposit with my bank. read more

Got my mazda 3 here a couple years back and have had an okay experience using them. I've been having issue with my cars apple car play audio for a while now. When my phone is plugged in for apple car play it will cycle between the car play audio (which is better quality) to the cars default audio. I called in to see if I could ask for a self fix option or to possibly get it serviced a few weeks back and was met with a combative attitude from one of the guys. He was very dismissive of the whole thing and just said well yea that just happens and basically I had to just deal with it. I know its not a major issue like a transmission, or any other mechanical damage but I just didn't like his combative attitude. I finally decided to call into another Mazda dealership today and they explained what it might be and that I could just come in and pay the fees to get it looked at. With Horne they were just trying to get me off their hands. I get it they are likely busy.... ....but at the same time please take me off your call list to try to sell me on another car when you need to get some sales if thats the case. ....the same place that wanted to bundle in a years long interior cleaning plan into the purchase of a car that they "couldn't take off the price" and you'll likely never use. So in typical dealership fashion they are there for you if they need to make some new sales or add on senseless add on fees. But don't you dare need some help with something wrong with your vehicle. I've not taken the bait on any new cars but if thats how you want to do someone calling in for a general question, you can mark me down as won't be coming back based on that interaction alone. There are no words to express my gratitude and appreciation for the patience and kindness from all the men and women who helped me make the right decision at Horne Mazda. The thought of purchasing a new car and having to deal with people who only want to sell you a car and could care less what your needs are - is - well quite common. This was the antithesis at Horne in Ahwatukee. The minute I walked in, it felt like I had entered a family's living room. People were smiling. They let me look around. Not one person was pushy or hovering over me. When I was ready to speak to someone, they listened. I did find my dream car. And at the very end... instead of just closing the deal, so they make another sale, one of the salesmen asked if I had noticed the difference in the two colors that were available. At the last minute, I changed my mind and fell in LOVE with the beautiful Mazda CX-3 that seems to change colors (from white to gray, to blue) that shows up depending on the light. LOVE THE CAR! LOVE THIS MAZDA DEALERSHIP!!! They really make you feel at home and should be a model for all other dealerships to replicate. read more

SERVICE DEPT. Long review but necessary to express my HORRIBLE experience. I brought in my CX-9 to get serviced. I needed two belts changed: serpentine belt and power steering belt. We had the belts changed the afternoon before leaving for California for a weekend trip. As soon as we arrived in CA we noticed a HUGE oil leak. We took our CX-9 to a local Mazda dealer in CA to inspect and they "found the engine bay and front engine cover soiled with engine oil". They found the source of the leak and "found engine oil leaking front crankshaft seal and the crankshaft pulley had excessive play on surface." The rep at the CA dealer even asked if we had belts changed because they noticed a new belt and stated the crankshaft looked loosed and the damaged more than likely happened when they tried to change the power steering belt. So Horne Mazda tried to remove crankshaft and disrupted the seal. My CX-9 had NO oil leaks prior to this. Unfortunately CA dealer did not have the parts in stock for them to fix while we were in CA. This oil leak took a total damper on our weekend trip! It was our first trip to CA after COVID. We limited our driving because we didn't want to drive our CX-9 with the oil leak and cause more damage. Drove back to home to AZ with the oil leak. Dropped off the CX-9 at Horne Mazda for them to fix the damage they caused. It took them 7 full days to diagnose, replace crankshaft pulley and seal, and perform a 20 mile test drive before the CX-9 was ready. They even had their senior mechanic inspect take a look to make the repairs. They didn't admit they were at fault but they were going to take care of the repairs "in good faith". Really?! I was going to refuse to pay for something they broke so I was glad they weren't going to charge me. After I picked up the CX-9, drove down Eliott Rd and after just driving 4 miles, the steering wheel locked and would not turn. I barely managed to get off Eliott Rd and park in a safe area but I was NOT able to turn the wheel. I called Horne Mazda back and they suggested for me to get a tow truck to take the CX-9 back for them to inspect but I had to arrange the tow truck myself! Next day, they informed me that they had to remove and replace the power steering belt when they replaced crankshaft pulley and seal. Unfortunately this caused for the power steering belt to fail and unfortunately it wasn't caught during their 20 mile test drive and it only took the additional 4 miles that I drove to completely fail. Mind you, this was their senior mechanic who replaced the crankshaft pulley and seal. I was SO lucky I was not in an accident. THEY are lucky I was not in an accident because this was entirely their fault!!! Long story short, they replaced the power steering belt....messed up the crankshaft pulley and seal....then replaced the crankshaft pulley and seal that they damaged but now damaged the same power steering belt they replaced a week and a half prior!!! How can they screw things up twice?!?! read more

Had to send them the texts from my phone to prove it. Then, the following day they increased it by another almost $3000! And then they wouldn't even honor the first quote. I have never had such a frustrating or upsetting experience when purchasing a car. I understand that by default, especially now, buying a car is a headache enough as it. However, my experience with Horne Mazda was by far the worst experience I have had during this process, ever. To start, a few days after purchasing the vehicle, I get a text from an employee saying that there was something wrong with my GAP insurance, and they needed to have the front page of my paperwork. Between dealing with work and my schedule outside of that, I honestly forgot - this was something that should have been taken care of prior to me leaving the dealership. When I did make it in (an hour drive roundtrip), the employee I met with took no hesitation in immediately blaming me for why I had to come in. Next, about three weeks after purchasing my vehicle, I experienced an extreme delay and hesitation when attempting to turn the car on. Keep in mind, that at this point, I did not even have my permanent tags yet, and I was already noticing mechanical issues. I called the dealership, was told that the car came as is, and only after complaining was I transferred to service. Mike, the service manager, was the only employee that I had a good experience with, and he apologized for my situation, and scheduled me to come in so that it could be looked at. Although Mike was incredibly nice, after several trips back to service, he could not diagnose the cause of the delay (upon my last trip, he did acknowledge it and basically told me to just keep an eye on it). My last interaction was nearly a month after I purchased a vehicle. Kylor, the manager(?), called and interrupted me during working hours to give me a convoluted story about the financing not being finalized; something that was never disclosed to me. Upon purchase of the vehicle and on my interaction in the dealership regarding my GAP paperwork, I was under the impression that the sale was finalized. I did ask for Kylor to please provide me a written account of everything that had transpired to this point. Not only was his account riddled with inaccuracies (e.x, he references that he had me bring the vehicle in, when in reality he was unaware that it had even been seen by the dealership until our phone call), it has no acknowledgement or reference to the incredible amount of stress, anxiety, and frustration that this dealership has put me through. I returned the car today, and would definitely warn any prospective customers to Horne Mazda to take this into consideration. After a month and what should have been a smooth purchase, I am left with no car, I am out money for gas and insurance, and have missed a considerable amount of work for something that should have been a non-issue. read more

Upon test drive of a used vehicle, I had brought up a couple of concerns and was told they would have the car looked at. after signing papers I brought up the issues again and got nothing. I messaged them the following day about an alignment needing to be done and got ignored. So being ignored I had to purchase an alignment The following week I purchased a second vehicle for my wife and brought up my concerns with additional issues that were brought up during the test drive that still were not addressed and was laughed at brushed off. two weeks go by and I drive the car to the dealership to bring up my concerns again and had one of the sales managers come for a ride along. There were multiple issues presented and they told me to schedule an appointment for service and they would take care of it. the following day just to verify that this would not be out of my pocket since the car was only three weeks old and they told me that the diagnostics would be something I would be charged for and my warranty to have any parts replaced would not be placed until 60 days after buying the vehicle. So now I have to drive a vehicle that I purchased from Mazda that I do not feel safe driving and I have to wait 60 days before I can have anything fixed or even looked at at the dealers expense. They told me the car went through an inspection and they found no issues, there were three or four blatant issues up. number one the brakes squeak going 2 miles an hour or 80 miles an hour. It does not matter what you're doing screech like crazy. second there is a loud humming noise coming from somewhere in the steering wherever you turn the wheel, it starts at a low pitch, and then the more you turn the wheel. It has a loud whining, screeching noise that starts to shake the brake pedal and the steering wheel, and then whenever you wheel to full lock, it starts making a loud humming clicking noise sounds like part of the steering components are going to break unless this issue gets resolved. I would never recommend you buy a new or used vehicle from this dealership because the staff will only treat you with smiles during the purchase process and then completely wipe their hands of you once you leave the building , I want the dealership to make this right for me. This is the third vehicle. My wife and I have purchased from this dealership. It is only right and fair to the buyer that they take it back and look at it free of charge and repair any issues that have been brought up even if it was during the test drive that was brought up within the first 30 days of owning the vehicle. The customer should not be charged a fee or a diagnostic fee for issues that either missed or the dealership was too lazy to fix if this doesn't get resolved I don't see any other option but to bring this up to the local new and have a story brought up on Shady business systems that they are using to just make a quick sale. it is not right to the consumer to have to come out of pocket within the first 30 days of a used vehicle that they said was inspected and had no issues if somebody spends $50,000 at the dealership on a vehicle the dealership needs to address and help fix any issues that may arise. read more

Let me start by saying that I appreciate the team at Horne Mazda. Erik Severson, my service advisor, is professional and extremely communicative. He tried to keep me in the loop as much as possible with regard to my service items (of which there were/are many). I appreciate this, even if my issue was not completely resolved. That said - why is my vehicle returned to me dirtier than when I left it? This is a recurring issue. When I purchased my vehicle from Horne, in October, it was delivered to me with an imperfect tint job, and an interior covered in dust and scratches on the piano black plastic surfaces. Upon my initial service a couple of months ago, my vehicle was again returned to me covered in dust and this time with dirty fingerprints on the headliner. This time, my vehicle is returned to me with even more greasy fingerprints on the headliner (that'll be fun to remove), mysterious residue on the seats and console, and a new blemish on the side mirror that I am unable to remove. I'm nitpicking, I know - but I take great care in keeping my vehicle clean, and this is frustrating. Particularly fingerprints on a light-colored headliner. On top of that - one of my service issues involved peeling metallic trim on my driver-side window switches. The switch was replace, and looks new - but now none of the switches work. Did the tech not think to test that they work after replacing? All told, I've owned my vehicle for five months, and it has been with Horne Mazda for almost a month during that period - soon to be back for more. Very frustrated, reaching out to Mazda Corporate to communicate my frustration with the product itself, and venting here at Horne Mazda. I don't expect my vehicle to be CLEANER than when I dropped it off - but I shouldn't have to spend an afternoon detailing my interior after picking it up from a service. read more

They made me feel secure in knowing the job would get done correctly. Specifically Naavah Johnson. We just bought a CX5 from Horne Mazda today! Daniel Jaramillo is amazing and helped us every step of the way. He is genuinely nice, knowledgeable and professional. My husband has a thousand and one questions and he patiently answered them all. It was our second visit when we bought the car since we were waiting for CX5 2017. Daniel never pressured us into buying, we felt relaxed and we instantly knew we are in good hands. John had also been a great help and explained us the finance and insurance related matters. I tried for over a month to get a response from General Manager ,Kyle Messmar.through phone calls and letters but he never responded at all. . The staff iignored my requests .Brought car in for oil change and two hours later 3/4 tires looked slashed from the inside of rim .Took photos. Staff tried to sell me a set of tires after closing and said"we can't let you take yours " Not safe'"I refused to buy new tires and ended up getting Lyft ride to rental car place where they said car was waiting at airport location. No car reserved. Ended up costing me a day of work off just to get car back My mechanic said he never saw tires wearing from inside out like that and it was a Scam . Reported to BBB . read more

May 03, 2020 - Ryan Deluca contacted us via email and offered a special deal about Mazda CX5 Sports. May 04, 2020 - I responded and told him that I am more interested with Mazda CX5 Grand Touring and attached the image of the car I am interested with. Between May 05-May 06, 2020 - asking me if I have a trade in and if I can come down and fill out the finance application form; I responded that I prefer doing this online and/or over the phone since I live in Maricopa. May 07, 2020 - I received an email that there was a hard inquiry with our credit. Few minutes after Ryan Deluca called me and informed me that they ran our credit and broke down the numbers. I confirmed if this offer was for the Grand Touring NOT the Sport and he said yes. After discussion with my wife, I called Ryan Deluca and set an appointment for the Mazda CX5 Grand Touring. May 09, 2020 - Arrived at Horne Tempe Mazda, we me with Ryan Deluca and she referred us to Shayla Haley. Shayla Haley then told us that the car we are interested is all set and that it's parked outside all she needed was my Driver's License. My wife went out to check the car and to our disappointment it was CX5 Sport - she went back inside and told Shayla Haley that it is the wrong car and showed the exchange email I had with Ryan Deluca. So she went back and grabbed the CX5 Grand Touring; few minutes after she came inside and informed us that the car we want is now outside and ready. We did the test drive and Shayla Haley is not well-knowledge with the cars. After the test drive Shayla Haley told us to have a sit in one of the tables and that she will get her laptop and pull our information and give the numbers. I told him that Ryan Deluca already ran our credit last May 07, 2020 and asked Shayla Haley "Are you going to run our credit again"; her response was "No". Shayla Haley left us and went back to the office to talk to Ryran Deluca; few minutes later she (Shayla Haley) came back with numbers and told us higher amount than what was discussed over the phone with Ryan Deluca; that being said I walked out and went to Autonation Toyota. As soon as we arrived at Auto Nation I got a notification that they ran our credit AGAIN. Not only Shayla Haley and Ryan Deluca lied to us but VERY unprofessional employees.
