Good customer service, timely and efficient. I went in with a coupon, but of course it was a bait and switch as my oil change went from 44.99 to 89.99 due to the oil they said I needed. I said ok as I didnt want to wait 2 hours for the dealer to do it. I was able to wait in my car and they checked for the car for needs and gave me estimates. District Mgr reached out after I emailed corp, he referred me to his Gilbert location and they took care of the alignment and wheels, he refunded my fee and said he would personally go to the Warner location and coach them. I've updated my rating for Express Oil as a general company, I can't vouch for the Warner location specifically. I took my vehicle in for ridiculously expensive alignment on my 1999 Expedition, $200, mainly to just get the steering wheel alignment straight after I replaced the pitman arm. The entire steering system has been upgraded with new parts, not modified in any way. Got the car back with steering now off center in other direction and marks all over my wheels and no warranty because they said the steering is modified, complete fiction. Then they wanted spray brake cleaner to remove the marks on the wheels, which anyone with even basic automotive knowledge knows will ruin the finish. Also, they tried to convince me that the steering play is a Ford thing, a mind numbingly stupid inference, they clearly think I don't know anything about cars. Please stay away from Express Oil on Warner and Kyrene, they don't have qualified technicians other than maybe for oil changes, even then I'd be hesitant, based on my conversation with the person in charge. Now I have to take my truck to a real garage to have the alignment fix and pay all over again. read more

Went for an oil change & had a good experience, but then about a month later I went to get my a/c looked at they quoted me about $2400. They said I needed a new system & quoted me around the following: Ac/compressor 680.02 Condenser 195.02 149.99 recharge Replace the dryer which brought total close to 2400. They also said my Rear brakes were super thin & quoted about 548.48. I went to my cousin for a second opinion and 1. He said I had no oil & I had just gone a month before. He checked to see if I had an oil leak & I do not. 2. He said my ac only needed Freon & no new parts, 3. My back brakes were fine! I paid my cousin a fraction of the price to get my a/c good to go and it's been a couple of weeks since that and my a/c is good to go. Never going back here. read more

I had my transmission, clutch and radiator done by this location. I came in a few weeks ago because my clutch was acting up and I wasn't sure why so I wanted them to inspect what it could be, all of my lists from them are still under warranty within 12 months and they denied me of the warranty, the guy wanted to charge me $119 to bleed out my clutch but I constantly told him I wanted it inspected first before I pay anything, it took him a while to understand but he did pull my car in and assumed we lowered my car which we never said we did, he couldn't get my car up on their lift which is weird because I've had my car on their lift before with no problem many times and my boyfriend asked if they can use wooden blocks or anything like ramps but he declined as it's a "safety hazard" my experience with this place was never bad, it didn't look like the guy even tried or wanted to try, he seems very sluggish at his work to me. I believe they have new staff members and if the old staff members are no longer there I no longer will come back to this place, the staff members done seem to understand the first time. read more

Not a very "express" oil change experience. It took me an hour and a half to get my oil change. During my time waiting, the employees sloppily moved cars around across the different lines. They asked me to move my car twice, and when they opened up a new lane, an employee told the car behind me to go into the new lane instead of me. At first I was fine with it because the employee said the car in front of me was just finishing up, but... twenty minutes later... two cars who came after me finished their oil change before me. After an hour of waiting and the fiasco of lane switching, that wasn't cool, and I was starting to get pissed because of wasted time. The person who did my oil change tried to humor me, but upon realizing that I wasn't happy nor willing to exchange pleasantries, he threw an attitude back. Several times I saw him chuckle when I expressed my upset and he told me, "well, you could've left." Leaving wasn't a good option when I was sandwiched between 5 other cars and was told the car before me was "finishing up." The employee told me "we're all new here," "Do you have a job? Then you should know what it's like to fall behind" yet he could've just apologized, guaranteed that he'd get me out ASAP, and left it at that. (Not to mention this person has been mentioned in reviews at least 8 months ago - doesn't sound so new to me.) He knew I was a new customer but didn't provide an overview of oil types nor prices until I asked. He later told me I had an oil leak but didn't describe to me what exactly was leaking (valve cover, oil pan, etc.) even when I asked. Towards the end of my service he apologized, wished me a better day, and offered to clean my front windshield, but I was over it by that point and didn't care for engaging further. It felt disingenuous. I see a lot of Yelp customers like this place, but I wouldn't rely on them if it's the weekend and you're actually looking for an express service. Title: Wrong Oil Used Corporate Denies Responsibility, and Now My Engine is Damaged I had a terrible experience at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers that has left me with a damaged engine and no accountability from the company. During my visit, they informed me that they had mistakenly used the wrong oil for my vehicle. I was understandably concerned, but Gavin, the person in charge, personally assured me that nothing bad would happen, and my car would be fine. A few days later, my car started having major issues. After taking it to another mechanic, I learned that the wrong oil had caused significant damage to my engine. I contacted corporate to address the issue, but instead of taking responsibility, they denied that the oil was the problem, despite what my mechanic had clearly identified. I trusted this business with a routine service, and not only did they make a costly mistake, but they also failed to take ownership of it. Corporate's refusal to acknowledge the issue just adds insult to injury. I'm now facing expensive repairs and a damaged vehicle, all because of a mistake they could have easily avoided. I strongly urge others to stay away from this place. If they can't be trusted with a simple oil change and refuse to stand behind their work, how can you trust them with your car at all? This company scammed me. I took my car to this shop where i trusted and had been going to for a few years just for oil changes. They were extremely quick to take my payment of $3,000 dollars after they told me that my car was going to die if i did not get it fixed. Then they admitted to putting an off the market part in my car and my car came out worse then ever before. My car was leaking oil all over my driveway and there was a humming noise so loud that it was so embarrassing. I asked for my money back and they told me to bad & good luck. I am a single mom of 3 boys that i need to drive around, let alone feed. They have NO GOOD INTENSIONS for their customers other than what they can get out of them. I went to so much work to get my car fixed and listen to what they said so i could get it done right and move on with my life peacefully . I am so disappointed in who they are as a whole. They did a good job on the oil change but when they did the vehicle inspection, given that I'm a woman, assumed I know nothing about cars. Said I needed new struts, and then proceeded to quote me twice for each strut. My struts are fine to begin with. I deal with quotes every day for my job and immediately noticed that they tried to screw me over. Furthermore, they failed to notice that the alternator belt was failing but replaced my other belts due to wear and tear. Less than a week later, I took my car to Sun Devil Auto because my alternator light went off they discovered that the alternator belt was missing ENTIRELY! I paid for a vehicle inspection and they didn't notice that an entire belt was MISSING FROM MY CAR. I won't be coming back for any services at all because they are untrustworthy and assume a 20-something woman isn't capable enough to dissect basic quotes. Ridiculous. read more

Do not bring your car here. No matter what. After talking to the shop manager Charles about the engine issues I had after my service and my dissatisfaction with the service provided, AND paying to get a second opinion from another shop so that I felt I actually knew what needed fixed, I agreed to bring back my car to have them fix the problem they created and to clear the engine light. Charles wouldn't ever give me a straight answer on whether he'd fix the problem for free. Just that he's a "fair guy." So, I brought the car in on the day Charles told me to. He was not there and hadn't told the technicians I was coming in. After two and a half hours of waiting, (and finally asking what the status was) they told me that they would no longer fix the problem. They claimed that it was because the other shop that I got a second opinion from had caused a different problem with the vent cover. (They claimed that the other shop stripped the threads when they removed/replaced the ignition coils). As a result, they told me I needed a new vent cover. I immediately called the other shop and told them. They had me ask which ignition coil was "stripped." Turns out the ignition coils that were stripped were not the one that the other shop took out. That one was perfectly fine. The other ones were touched by this shop, and they absolutely potentially stripped by them. And were now claiming not to do anything to remedy the original problem. So I left immediately. Took it to the other shop. Who fixed the problem in like an hour. And with no hassle. They advised that this shop is probably just trying to find a way to charge for something rather than just fixing the problem they created. read more

I brought my truck in because of a check engine light and engine hesitation when accelerating, picked it up 2-3 hrs and $650 later, right out of the lot, check engine light is still on, and engine still hesitating, I asked for the part back, and they didn't have it, so I'll be seeking legal action, these crooks need to be stopped. read more

Getting my oil changed is something I know I need to be on top of but also hate. This place made it super simple for me and I didn't even have to get out of the car. I pulled in at around 5 pm with no appointment, drove straight into the bay. They asked me what oil I use and started working. They do all the safety checks but don't try to upsell you on anything. Everyone was super helpful and quick. I was out in about 15 minutes. I asked for full synthetic oil which is 74.99 but on Tuesdays, it's Lady's night so you can get an extra $5 off. read more

When they changed my oil and oil filter they put on the oil filter cap too tight. The next time I got oil changed they couldn't get cap off. I went back to Express and talked to Shaun the "Manager " and he claimed the other guys did it. If other guys did it the oil filter would have been new and it wasn't. Anyway he broke the cap off, put a new oil filter and cap on and changed me $87.56!! Be careful using these guy. I think I should not have to pay anything as they screwed it up. read more

He checked all my lights and turn signals showed me my air filter and my oil stick :) I didn't even have to get out of my car it was a very pleasant experience. i would never ever go back to this establishment. The manager Shawn is as rude and condescending as you can get !!!!! I drive for Lyft and unfortunately have to rent from UCARS. This is a vendor that they approve for maintenance. I'm pretty sure they are inflating repairs as it seems they have carte blanch when it comes to approval and get paid in advance. All good if I felt an honest vibe from management. However Shawn was not only pushy , but threatening !! we had a conversation because I wanted to use another vendor after my interaction with him . He then proceeded to call the rides company to get his way . It resulted in my PAID for rental car to be deactivated without notice to me . Left me stranded in a bad neighborhood and a multitude of charges , fees that incurred because I couldn't work . I sat in a room of very unhappy clients today . One couple with child and kitten became homeless today . I was there to see it first hand . Please choose wisely when giving your business to a person or establishment. Your dollars speak loudly!!! if we condone this behavior then we are part of the problem. And I would really hate to see another person taken advantage of. Our spending has more power than we think. It's hard to find great service these days, but I was thoroughly impressed with this location. My tire pressure light came on and this location was in distance to have my tire checked. They took my tire off, filled with air and found the cause of tire pressure loss. He was going to patch the tire, but found out I had a warranty through Costco. He made sure my tire was ok to send me off to Costco to maximize the warranty I have. I will definitely be coming back to this location for future service. read more

Made an appointment for an oil change and tire balance and rotation. I arrived and the oil change service was completed promptly but the tire balance and rotation took over an hour. Overall though, the pricing was fair and expected for a vehicle requiring synthetic oil. Fast forward a month and I am getting new tires installed where I'm informed of a broken lug stud. This at a shop where my fleet vehicles are maintained. I gave Charles at Express a call and he kindly offered to replace the broken lug stud.
