Dr. Rafla and his staff were so kind and patient as we and our children went through the process of saying goodbye. Later, i came to Vine for a second opinion after my local vet informed me my young cat would need all his teeth pulled due to what turned out to be a rare tooth and gum disease, which I could not afford to do. Dr. Rafla's rates are very good and he agreed to perform the surgery for a fee I could manage. The day of the surgery Dr. Rafla called to tell me my cat had a slight respiratory infection so he was not comfortable doing the surgery and we would need to treat the infection first. While I treated that I got a call from Dr. Rafla that he had consulted with a dental expert and she had ageeed to come to his facility and do the surgery at the same cost he had quoted me. I wish I could remember where she was from because I am so grateful to her! The surgery was a success and the doctor who performed it managed to save 6 of my cat's teeth. We make the 30+ minute drive out there because we know that we can get the best care for our pets. We are currently working towards getting all of our pets on the same vaccine schedule so we can minimize our commute out there, and it's nice to know that Dr. Bannister is willing to work with us in making that happen.
