After telling me the job would take ~3 days, he left the second day without all the old tile even being removed. He came on the third day, and then left at noon to get lunch or something. He never came back. He said he would drop something off that night, but never did. He never answered his phone again. I paid him 2/3 of his price and he disappeared without even having the old tile fully removed. It cost me more than his initial quote to have someone else come and finish the job. I don't think this business exists anymore, but just in case, I'm going to leave this review to say DO NOT HIRE this contractor. And if you do, do not pay anything in advance.

On his first visit, Carlos thoroughly cleaned and sanded the deck. He also went above and beyond by power-washing underneath it, an area that desperately needed attention. I had not asked him to do that, so I really appreciated the extra effort. When he returned to stain the deck, the finished result looked fantastic. He patiently explained the differences between products and gave me much needed insight. My contractor joined me during my appointment and helped too, Markell got that I was relying on my contractor to make some decisions for me, like do I want sanded or un-sanded grout. How would I know that? Markell never made me feel excluded. He never made me feel like he was man-splaining, which has happened to me plenty of times in home improvement stores.
