I looked for reviews for truck mount carpet cleaning in my area and saw that Optimum Carpet Care had great reviews, so I called them. I talked to Michael on the phone and he gave a general breakdown on their services and pricing structure. I made an appointment for Saturday afternoon and they were on time and had a professional box truck full of equipment and supplies. In years past I worked in cleaning carpet and know it's a tough job and portable carpet cleaner machines just don't have the power to do the best job possible. Michael and his brother Steven came inside, promptly put on shoe covers and I showed them what I wanted done, what furniture needed to move, etc. They measured the rooms by laser measurements and gave me a fair quote. At first I thought it was a little high, but after seeing the prep work they did before the start of cleaning, I knew I was being treated fairly. They had hose protectors to prevent damage to the floors and walls,, along with a type of door guard that left the door cracked for the hoses but would not allow bugs to enter my home. Very professional. They had extensive equipment that they used on my carpets and their truck mount system worked efficiently and left the carpet looking clean and new. Both Michael and Steven moved my furniture and put it back carefully once the cleaning was done with protectors underneath not to damage either the furniture or the carpet. They ended up doing three large rooms, two sets of stairs and one recliner and it was more than fair for all the labor that they did. I was very impressed with the quality of their work, their professionalism, and my carpets never looked better. I will definitely use them again on a yearly basis. We have an elderly dog who sometimes has a lot of accidents, so we decided to rent a carpet cleaner from Home Depot to save money. BAD IDEA! The stains were worse than when we started. I broke down after a month and started looking at different service providers on Yelp. When I came across Optimum and saw the before and after pics, I decided to give them a try. They charge $125 for the room I needed to have cleaned. Mike and his crew arrived on time, were very polite and fast. I work from home, so this was important to me, as I needed to schedule my day around the appointment. I admit, after they left I figured once the carpets dried we'd be able to see the stains again. This did not happen, in fact, stains that we thought would never come out (from the previous homeowners), were removed after Optimum's treatment. Two weeks later our dog had massive diarrhea and I really thought our carpets were shot. I called Optimum asking if they had any recommendations for cleaning and they provided several tips over the phone, without trying to sell me on their services again (that was appreciated!) The next day however, I knew that I needed them to come back out. If the pictures weren't so gross, I'd post the before and after, but let's just say no one would ever know this happened. This company was very punctual, friendly and great with their communication. A team of 2 gentleman arrived early (always a plus when ready for it), said their hellos and went straight to work after being given a tour of the rooms they would be working on. At the end of their cleaning, they did show me a sample of the gross that lived in my carpets, which I love to see (gone). The only concern I had was that their machine is so powerful that it pulled the carpet back and up in our family room. It caused a small ripple which did go away on its own after a couple of days (phew). But I did find myself going around the edges of the room and noticing the carpet was not tucked in as it was before. It's not a major problem. I have used Optimum Carpet Care several times in the past couple of years to do carpet cleanings after a tenant moves out of our rental units. And let me tell you, many times these carpets look like that's the end of their life and will need to be replaced...then these guys come in with their truck mounted equipment and after two or three hours, poof...to my amazement, the carpeting looks like it has been reborn, close enough to newly installed! I am always astonished at what they can get out...pet stains, coffee stains, wine stains, foot traffic patterns...all gone! Only once were they not able to remove a stain and that was some kind of a purple hair shampoo for blonde hair that was spilled in a very visible area. These guys are great and I would not use anyone else to clean our carpets. They are hard working, fairly priced (less than the big name outfits), honest and a family business run by three brothers. You always get the same guys and always the same results...which is a beautifully clean and fresh carpet to enjoy again. read more

These guys will work their tails off for you! We've used them in the past for general cleaning, but when our basement flooded and almost ruined the carpet, the boys at Optimum really showed up. Forgetting that they did water restoration we set an appointment with a different company. After that company's technician didn't show up for two separate, quoted arrival times, we found the card for Optimum and gave them a call. With the recent rains I thought for sure they wouldn't be able to make it out to us. Mike answered and asked for a breakdown of what was going on. He agreed to arrive by 130 that afternoon. He was there early and started right away. Day one he worked his tail off for almost seven hours and saved every inch of our carpet. He stopped by the house the next two days to check the status on everything. On the third day he performed another quality cleaning and sanitation of the carpet. Not only did they save the carpet from mold, they also eliminated any odor and left it looking better than it did before the flood. Can't recommend them enough! These guys are LIFESAVERS!! This is the second time I've had them over to clean my carpet in the past two months because of excessive pet stains. The first time these guys got rid of all odors and stains and some of the stains their competitors could not remove! There was also no lingering urine odors after they were done which were also very apparent when I had a different company come and clean the first time. It was a NO-BRAINER to have them come clean my carpet the second time. It was gross from having a foster dog that wasn't potty trained and having sick dogs and my own dog having bladder problems, but they to absolutely fantastic work and I will NEVER use another cleaner!
