John C (Salesman) and Jessica (Manger) were terrible to deal with. John had no idea what he was doing. Both could care less about customer service. Company will rip you off! Deserves 0 stars. What this company did was borderline criminal.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will present well but don't have a clue what they're doing and could care less about YOU - THE CUSTOMER. I can't wait to see if they try to respond to this. You know what you did aloha... We used Aloha for our recent basement remodel...job was about 35k. As you read this, please keep in mind that my wife was about 7 months pregnant and this was during COVID..meaning masks and distancing were required. The team NEVER WORE MASKS. Also, I had to pick up at least 15 cigarette butts off the ground in my driveway and street every day. - job started out fine but that's about all the positive things I can say - they failed to cover anything in our unfinished section of the basement...something specifically outlined in the contract. I spent 5 hours preparing it so things would be properly covered as to keep back as much dust as possible - because they failed to cover, a thick layer of white dust covered EVERYTHING we keep in our basement. (It's been 2 months and I'm still cleaning up this BS) - see picture - when I brought up the issue to the supervisor, he 100% agreed this was a big miss by the aloha team and they would be paying for a dust/duct cleaning after the Job ended. I wasn't happy but agreed with the plan. - when the job ended, the team did not clean up the dust. I basically spent 2 entire weekends dusting and cleaning all kids toys. Aloha offered 150.00 off (35k job) for my trouble. Laughable. - we finally got them to agree to the duct cleaning (1 month after completed job) and got it scheduled. We had it looked at independently by Stanley steamer and they agreed the white dust was everywhere in the ducts. THIS IS WHAT I COULD NOT BELIEVE... - a few days before the ducts were to be cleaned, I was told by aloha that I needed to sign a letter stating we were 100% satisfied with the work done...which I obviously was not, so I did not sign - because I did not sign, they cancelled the duct cleaning and left my pregnant wife and family to breathe this crap in - I then had to pay 700.00 myself for the duct cleaning and as I said, I am still dusting the unfinished portion and slowly cleaning all baby things we will need when our 3rd child arrives. In addition, at the end of the job, there were 14 items that weren't done appropriately and needed to be finalized - An example being the hand rail falling off the wall 3 days after they left. Called Aloha after our basement flooded last year during an ice storm that knocked the power out long enough that our battery back up sump pump eventually died and filled the basement with over an inch of water before the power kicked in and the electric pump pulling the water out within minutes. They had recently done a basement remodel at one of our neighbors that they were happy with, so gave them a call. Jessica quickly came out the next day to access the situation for remediation to prevent mold and scheduled the remediation promptly. She worked with insurance to have it covered as well as to estimate a repair to our finished basement. The cost to repair however maxed out our insurance coverage exceeding the 25G allowance for both remediation and repair. Tried to negotiate the costs as some of the repair work seemed unnecessary or items that I could perform easily myself. Negotiations went fairly well until the overall repair job cost dropped too low for them to accept moving forward. I didn't want to spend more to repair the basement to what it was prior to the damage than what our insurance would cover. Eventually went another route for the repairs... But I do rate working with them on the remediation work they performed as a good experience as well as their knowledge and integrity under a stressful situation. read more

We used Aloha this past year after a sewer line backup. They were amazing. They were onsite within 90 minutes with a team to clean up, which allowed us to stay in our house. They did a great job managing the insurance company throughout the process and ensuring we got the most out of our policy. Finally, they repaired the damages expertly, and they were very professional. Our primary contact, Jessica, was a fantastic communicator and was always on top of all the details. I was just at a min-mart gas station and I guy came in without a mask on. The cashier politely asked him to put on a mask. He sneered and angrily said "I won't. It's ridiculous." She said the sign on the door clearly states you need a mask on to enter. He stormed up to the counter and demanded his cigarettes, all the while berating this poor women about the mask policy. He was mean, rude and very unpleasant. He stormed out with a "I'll never be back" and got into an Aloha Restoration truck and drove away. If this is the kind of employees Aloha has, I would never, ever call them. Even if you disagree with a store's policy--even if you hate wearing a mask (we all do)-- you don't treat people like that! read more

I contacted this company based upon previous recommendations. They were outwardly friendly (Glenn, Manager). Once we got to specifics of the contract, Glenn refused to answer my many calls. He also took with him at our last contact a "panel" with critical remodeling information. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Day 1... Andrew introduced himself and Jacob with a warm smile as they approached my door. After inspecting the damage, Andrew gave me his best estimate on time needed to complete this phase. The men quickly got down to business securing everything that needed moving and applying protective coverings to any furniture that could not be removed. Andrew and Jacob were now busy, and at times, singing as they worked. Polite? OMG... YES. Their manners never wavered while they worked. After a long day 1, Andrew gave me an update stating that he thought they could complete the restoration sooner than anticipated. On the final day of interior work, every bit of furniture, tchotchkes, pictures and plants were returned to their exact homes. Andrew is one heck of a vacuumer. When all the repair materials were extracted from the house, salutations were exchanged. As I closed the door I couldn't help but smile. The last phase of Aloha's restoration work has been completed, just in time for the upcoming holidays. I turned and admired the flawless work. The repairs to my living room & garage ceilings gave the appearance of never having had any storm leakage damage. Once again... Aloha served up quality work with superior work ethics. Aloha Restoration was great!! My basement flooded and they remodeled it to better than before! Glen was terrific, very professional. The guys were good craftsmen and trust-worthy.
