Been looking for a place to try goat yoga, found this place through yelp. Booking was very easy online, finding the place was a little more tricky. Make sure to keep your eyes open, like many others we passed the driveway and had to turn around. The weather didn't help, rainy, muddy and cold on a Saturday morning. Once you park there is a small open shed to check in and sign a form. Then it's into a barn right next door, where yoga mats are already laid out for you. So many goats and lambs running around... so cute! The instructor gave us the rundown but honestly most people were here to experience the goats jumping on you as you attempted a few yoga pose's. A few employees were walking around with treats to encourage the goats to interact with everyone, they were hopping from back to back when all of us were in the "tabletop" pose. My favorite were the babies wearing their little diapers.... they would just sit in your arms. The staff was pretty good about changing them as needed. A big highlight was at the end of the class, they brought out bottles to feed the animals.... boy they chug those down fast! Overall it was a fun morning, it was more hanging out with these animals than actually doing yoga. Tip... wear your hair in a bun, animals love the lose hair. read more

Oh my gosh. This was so cool! Such a great Saturday morning activity! Upon pulling into the driveway (I honestly missed it bustled amongst the normal houses without a barn-- Montgomery County is so weird, hahah) I walked over to this little shed to fill out a release form and check in. Afterwards I was led through this "Alice and Wonderland" type door in a white barn to a small room filled with yoga mats, excited ladies and BABY GOATS, some of which were only two weeks old!! In terms of yoga, the session wasn't that serious considering a little goat could jump on your back at any given time and ruin your "chi." There were a couple of employees walking around with treats to encourage the little babies to interact with everyone, but some honestly didn't need encouragement and were hopping from back to back when all of us were in the "tabletop" pose. I would suggest you wear your hair in a bun and wear some workout clothes that you don't care too much for, because I had a goat get stuck in my hair and someone else had one poop on them (all part of the experience I guess). I would be interested to see if they do this in the summer considering you'd be in a small barn with animals and hay-- the winter session in January was a bit chilly but otherwise I didn't really notice the cold. read more

Baby Goat Yoga is an experience so cute that you can experience nirvana and slightly die in the inside from all of the adorable goats. Doing baby goat yoga inside a hay stacked barn was such a wonderful way for my friends and I to end the year on a Namaste. The staff at Horse and Goat Yoga were really kind, understanding, and flexible. My party and I originally booked it for the weekend before Christmas but had to reschedule because we had multiple members who were sick and the staff were very flexible and understanding and allowed us to reschedule it for New Years Eve without any issue. The yoga class itself was such a great experience. The rates for an hour yoga class plus 30 minutes of cuddling and milk feeding was only $34 per person. The class and yoga poses themselves were easy although I did find it hard to focus because of all the cute baby goats jumping all over but the yogi instructor was great and directed all of us throughout the class. What I loved was those spontaneous moments when the staff would ask if you want a baby goat on your back, between your legs, or in your arms. The treasure to Horse and Goat Yoga was the cuddling and milk feeding experience that came after the class. After we got to feed the baby goats milk, we also had the privilege to bring them to their vans so they can go back to their homes for the day. Baby Goat Yoga is such a cute idea for various celebrations like my belated birthday. Thank you Horse & Goat Yoga for this experience and I sure will be back in the near future! read more

Surprised my daughter with a Goat Yoga class. It was a little hard to find at first as the farm was situated behind some houses. Upon our arrival we were told to bring a mat and wear comfortable clothes. There were about 20 people in our class. We were given instructions on how to handle them and safety instructions. We were taken into the animal Pen where the goats and a few pigs were brought in. The instructors were very nice and led us into some yoga poses, while the kids brought in the goats. There were about 8-10 goats, each had a name that fit their personality. They also wore pampers to avoid any accidents along the way. Once we were in a pose of being on our hands and knees The goats would jump on your back, and sometimes jump from person to person. The pressure of the goats paws is very therapeutic if you have back tension. I have arthritis in my lower back so it felt very good to me. We also got to feed the goats as well. The class lasted about and hour and a half. You also have the option of adopting a goat if you want. It was so much fun and I would definitely recommend this activity. I had been wanting to experience baby goat yoga for quite some time and was excited to find this spot local to me. While Horse and Goat Yoga does pop ups at many local businesses including wineries and breweries, they also host yoga at their barn. I attended at their barn. I went on a freezing cold January day so I had to bundle up. It was a bit chilly in the barn, but bearable. They provide yoga mats since they get messy and you likely don't want to dirty up your own. If you're looking for an intense yoga class, this is not for you. If you're looking for a casual yoga/social experience with baby goats roaming around and jumping on your back, this is certainly for you! All in all this was a fun and unique experience. My back was a little sore though from larger goats jumping on me!! It's a little pricey but worth the experience! Wear long sleeves and pants so you don't get scratched up by the goats' hooves! read more

What a fun morning at goat yoga! We came here for a bachelorette party and weren't sure what to expect. It was really fun. If you're looking to get into your zen like a normal yoga class this isn't it. Anytime you get close to being in the zone and relaxing, up comes a goat jumping onto your back...but that's the fun of the experience! It was a little hot with the sun outside in the field and a little buggy, but not too bad. The people working there were nice and the goats wore diapers so there were no accidents on us. At the end of the yoga session you get to hold and bottle feed the goats. Overall it was a unique experience I can check off my bucket list. Also it's a little hard to find. There's no sign on the main road so look for a red brick house and the farm is all the way in the back. read more

I had heard a lot about this new crazy "goat yoga" trend... so, needless to say, when I found out there was a location nearby I knew I had to check it out. My group and I booked the goat yoga vinyasa session for a Saturday morning at 9am ($29). The process to obtain tickets super is easy and straightforward. We booked our tickets online using their website. I was able to pay with a card and received text and email confirmations immediately after I made the purchase. I even received a reminder text message the night before! Getting in contact with the staff was very easy. When I sent an email, I received a response within the hour. When we got to the location, we were first a little confused if we were at the right place. There isn't much signage but you'll see what resembles a house and long dirt driveway. Don't be alarmed - you're at the right place! We were instructed to drive all the way to the back where we met the staff members. We were asked to sign some waivers before getting started. We were then brought into a fenced in area where we were immediately greeted by several of the cutest baby goats! Yoga mats are provided for free. You also have the option to bring your own. Personally, I wouldn't bother using your own because it WILL get dirty. After all, you will have goats running around, pooping, and peeing (though, the staff does a great job of promptly sanitizing your mat if you are one of the unlucky ones who gets pooped or peed on). Once we all got settled in, it was finally time to begin! Our instructor was amazing! She did a great job of leading the class despite the distractions. Right off the bat, she told us that we could do as much or as little yoga as we would like. She welcomed us to take breaks, take photos, and play with the goats. The staff did an incredible time of making sure each person got enough goat time. They walked around with food to lure the goats to continue to move. The goats were adorable - they would sleep by your mat, jump on your back, and everything in between! There is one larger goat named Honey. She is a bit heavy but the staff did forewarn us about her. If you request for her to not be on you, the staff will promptly get her off. The class lasted about an hour. After the class, we were able to chat with staff, feed the goats, and take pictures. The staff was so friendly and patient as we took pictures and asked questions. All in all, I cannot tell you what an incredible experience this was. I would recommended goat yoga to anyone and everyone (men, women, kids, young and old- even if yoga isn't your "thing"). It was definitely worth the time and money. One of the best experiences for me. I'd been wanting to try goat yoga (as seen on the Sunday Morning show with Jane Pauley) as it combines my two favorite things: animals & yoga! I was NOT disappointed! Beautiful set up, well organized and everyone involved were professional, welcoming, and warm. Ample parking. The adorable baby animals are cared for with tender love and respect. I absolutely loved holding them and doing yoga with them! So much fun, so relaxing. The goats and lambs are heaven. My yoga instructor was just fantastic, very knowledgeable and passionate. She made everyone feel super comfortable. I cannot wait to go back, one of the best things I've done! Had the most magical time attending goat yoga today. The facility is easy to find and is located in a wonderful neighborhood. The staff is incredibly friendly. They have several animals on the property we opted for one hour of goat yoga and snuggle time. You actually are talked through a yoga hour which is so much fun with the baby goats jumping all over you. It was truly an hour full of laughter! read more

We attended goat yoga at the Harbourside Atrium in Jersey City earlier today and we loved it! The goats are so sweet, the staff was so nice, and we had a great time. Five stars really aren't enough. I recently participated in a goat yoga (and lamb!) yoga session with these wonderful women at a winery, and it was everything I could have imagined. The space was organized and clean, the check-in process was efficient and easy, everyone working was friendly and knowledgeable, and the goats! The lambs! Cuteness overload by 10000000000. Obviously the event wasn't very "heavy" on the yoga, but that's fine by me. I can't wait to try horse yoga next. They've a client for life. read more

My friend and I scheduled yoga online and recieved a confirmation email and text. Since this session happened during the Coronavirus epidemic, we called to double check everything was still on. We left a message and assumed everything was fine since we got both an email and text confirmation. We came all the way to PA from Brooklyn, NY only to find NO ONE THERE!! Actually, we arrived early and there was a car in the driveway. To be considerate, we backed out, called and came back at the appointed time... only to find the car gone. This means they ducked out on us!!! They never picked up the phone, never answered our emails and we had to call the bank to get our money back!!!! We SOOOOOO needed this. I can't explain how much stress we were under and couldn't wait for baby goats to bring us joy. We would have TOTALLY understood if this event was canceled due to Corona... just let us know! Don't have us travel for 2 hours, spend on gas and tolls, have us get there with nothing else to do in the area because everything is shut down. Maybe don't send confirmation emails and texts either. AND MAYBE have the decency to respond afterwards to at least apologize or explain. Then you may get us to come back. Now all you get is a nasty, but 100% true review. read more

We loved our experience! It was everything we hoped it would be. While we didn't do too much actual yoga, we had a ton of fun with the animals. There were a lot more goats than I expected and they even had two baby lambs that we were able to hold throughout the whole visit. It was a little scary at first having the goats jump on you but they are a lot lighter than I expected and it actually felt kind of good when they walked on your back! We were able to feed the goats at the end and pick some of the smaller ones up. They were so adorable and friendly. All of the people working there were very patient and nice and we had a great time! I attended the Goat Yoga on Saturday morning and I have to say it was such a great experience. I had no idea what to expect. The goats were so sweet and cuddly. The couple of people working (Pearla and a guy who's name I didn't catch) were really great. They do a great job of keeping the goats moving around the barn so everyone gets to experience the goats. It was hysterical how the baby goats would just hop on your back or snuggle in our laps. The instructor was great and moved at a pace which allowed everyone to keep up but also interact with the goats. At the end, they brought in two lambs which topped off the session for us! The barn is really cute as well and added to the experience. My friends and I cannot wait to go back! I'll be enjoying many more yoga classes here! read more

I just took my friends to try goat yoga with me this past Saturday at Hopewell Valley in NJ. While I didn't know what to expect, we all had so much fun! Although the wine tasting was a bit disorganized, it wasn't hosted by Horse and Goat Yoga so I won't go into that. As far as what you can expect: Yoga mats are provided (and sanitized after every use) so no need to bring your own. The staff is absolutely amazing and so friendly: check in was quick, set up was organized and neat, yoga instructor (wish I remembered her name) is an awesome leader, and they swiftly cleaned up any (goat) accidents--the baby goats were wearing diapers so I think we only had two accidents and I didn't even notice till my friends told me! Our session lasted about an hour. There's really so much to love about this organization. I really have no complaints at all. A couple highlights I found most exciting: - The baby goats are saved from the dairy industry! - The yoga instructor was really so amazing. I really wish I remembered her name. She was a great teacher! Our session took place outside (EZ-Ups provided some shade) so we definitely got quite a workout! She was amazing; from asking everyone what field they work in to focus on some yoga moves that would help with pain associated with work, to showing us stretches we can do at home, she was great about understanding everyone's pace and made sure we were all comfortable with where we were in our practices. - The baby goats will climb as high as they can, while you're still moving! One eventually ended up standing on the instructor's shoulder at one point! Staff members lure the goats with some food to climb up on everyone--they're so great with making sure everyone gets a chance to get some goat cuddles. I can see what all the rage is about! Beautiful space with beautiful souls. Our instructor was very knowledgeable both about yoga and how she could incorporate the goats safely. We were able to have a lot of questions answered in advance by phone--for example, whether it would be suitable for a 4-year-old to participate alongside her mother. (She ended up hanging back with Grandma and helping to say hi and bottle feed when Mom was done yoga.) Very appreciative of their professionalism, both with regard to animal husbandry and outdoor yoga! I understand the business is relatively new (2017). In the future they may choose to assist with photography more. I know of some locations that put up a Facebook photo album for each class. After all, it's hard enough to balance with a goat on you, let alone take a selfie of you or your friend. Would recommend! Note: Apparently baby goats grow. The earlier in the season you go, the less weight they'll be putting on you! read more

This place is incredible! The owners are such compassionate and knowledgeable people on a mission to give rescued horses and goats a second chance at life. I attended a Thursday night "Bah Sip and Play" goat yoga event where we were encouraged to enjoy playing with and petting the 7 goats joining our yoga practice. The instructor, Sarah, ensured that each person got what they wanted from the experience whether that meant sitting and snuggling the 6 baby goats or moving through a sun salutation with Honey (the biggest goat) riding on your back. Picture-taking and laughter kept the practice relaxed and the non-judgmental environment made it easy to appreciate the beauty of being in the present. The event lasted two hours- the first dedicated to yoga and the second to relaxing by the firepit (BYOB!) for a goat milking and bottle-feeding session. Yoga took place alongside a grassy field surrounded by trees on a quiet farm tucked away in Maple Glen, PA. Parking was on the premises, mats were provided, and the setup was clean and organized. I am so thankful to have shared an experience like this and wish this team the best as they continue to shelter such wonderful creatures.
