After seeing a high rating and decent menu we were excited to try this place. Unfortunately the food is just mediocre. Our table could see the kitchen from the back and they were microwaving plates of food. I was hoping the corn in the cob (for $2.50) would be grilled, but it was soggy from the microwave. The waitress also didn't take this off the ticket when after one bite we said it wasn't good. The rest of the food was just fine. read more

I give 4 stars only for the fact of how chilly it was while eating. We had an air conditioning vent blowing straight at us from the wall. Other than that, the food was great. I ordered the Texas burger with fries and it came with grilled onion and jalapenos on the burger, so delicious. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. She said it was great as well. Very reasonably priced, laid back atmosphere and great food. It has honestly been the best thing we have eaten in the last 3 days in Eureka Springs. I'm from Texas so Mexican food in Arkansas isn't high on my list but they proved me wrong! We had excellent chicken fajita tacos here! Big surprise. They have a wide variety of kinds of food but we thought we'd chance it. So glad we chose Mexican. My only disappointment was the queso we ordered as a starter. It is queso blanco w/o much flavor. However, the quacamole that comes w/ the tacos was excellent! Busy place so arrive before 6:00. Family friendly and very casual. Good service. read more

Our first time at this restaurant in Eureka Springs. We were told it was a relatively new restaurant in the area but it had good reviews. We were seated quickly and our server was friendly and attentive. Our orders arrived in an appropriate amount of time and were hot and delicious. I had the Shrimp Fajitas. It was served with large, perfectly cooked shrimp and fresh onions and peppers. It was also served with Mexican rice and refried beans. My wife had the catfish and shrimp platter. The catfish was cooked well and came with tasty fries and hushpuppies. The cost was nice at around $35. Highly recommend! read more

Great place and suggested by the locals so we had to try it. The locals were spot on! Our server, Yaritza, was great. The food was cooked to perfection! I had the Bacon Monterey Chicken, and it was served on a sizzling plate. My daughter had the Mac and cheese and basically inhaled it. My husband had the burger and a Tall Lost IPA. In a town where a lot of things are closed on Mondays, this fantastic gem saved the day. Ambiance was precious. Staff was friendly. Prices were comparable. I asked the server if their cheese dip was good, she said it was her favorite, and I can see why! Adding the meat to it was worth it; I'm used to thick chunks of meat and this was more blended and so delicious. The pulled pork and brisket sandwiches were really good, especially for a place that doesn't brag about their BBQ. Decent amount of beer and drink options too. My wife and I both ordered the chicken fried steak with loaded mashed potatoes. I had onion rings and she had baked beans. I highly recommend the onion rings. If they weren't hand made then I need to find the supplier. The chicken fried steak was as expected. The potatoes were great, great flavor and the bacon on them was REAL. Not cheap hard bits of tree bark like you'd normally expect. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is there was enough sour cream on top of the mashed potatoes to cover 10 taco Tuesday's. I'm talking like it had to be at least 3 table spoons full. Fine if you like more sour cream than taters but I'm not your guy for that. read more

It has been years since I had a catfish and hush puppies dinner. It was outstanding at The Horseshoe Grill. My only suggestion would be to offer less french fries and one or two more hush puppies. Great value, great food, great service! A group of 13 of us called ahead to see if there was a wait and when we got there they had already setup a table for us! We were promptly served a round of drinks as they gathered our orders. They brought out the food pretty quickly as we enjoyed the company and watched some Final Four basketball. We're from California and so getting a scoop of mashed potatoes on top of my fajitas was weird......but delightfully GOOD. I asked for flour tortillas and was told it would be an additional order. My friend got the chicken strips and fries and said it was great but we were shocked to see gravy as the side. :) My husband got the ribeye and shrimp and loved it. Ribs were pretty good but I couldn't eat all the meat because the ends were tough and rubbery. The sirloin was just ok but nothing special and it was served with new potatoes instead of a baked potato. Also instead of including the bread with the entree it was considered a side. I'm not sure what all the hype is about. We had the fries with beef, cheese and jalapeños. For our meal we had the chicken queso and rice. Basically just cheese melted over rice which looked just like the fries, beef, and jalapeños with melted cheese. There was a group of 14, not COVID ok. The kids were out of their seats walking around. Other customers were not 6 ft from other customers. The parents let their kids run around with no masks and the employees didn't care.
