Six of us visited last night and had a wonderful experience. We had a variety of dishes including chicken fried chicken, catfish, grilled chicken, and steak. They each included two side dishes and everything was delicious. Our server was extremely friendly and efficient. She asked if there were any birthdays in the group and as we were there to celebrate a friend's birthday, we pointed out the lucky birthday girl. As we finished our meal, she and the other server came out with a piece of molten lava cake with ice cream and sang Happy Birthday. This place is a hidden gem! read more

Food sucks. But that's pretty commonplace for a Berryville restaurant. I would drive to eureka or Fayetteville to avoid this place.

We ordered the Protein Bowl and a Steak Chimichanga. Both were delicious. We enjoy a bit more spice, but the had cholula, so we were happy. Restaurant was clean and waitstaff was so nice and quick. read more

We are visiting Eureka Springs from Topeka, KS. You have to guess a place is pretty good when you arrive and it appears to be full of local people. We split a ribeye steak with the sautéed onion & mushrooms and topped with shrimp, we thought it was delicious! And to top off our experience we had a very personable server, Melani, a plus she put eyeballs in our drinks (Halloween time) I definitely would give this restaurant a try if you ever get a chance to visit Eureka Springs, AR. We went in and were seated. It took a little while for the waitress to come get our drink order, but not bad. I ordered bacon Monterey Chicken. When she brought I t out it was on a sizzling skillet. It was popping grease all over me and the table. It continued to cook and splatter grease for at least 5 minutes. I complained to the waitress that it was overcooked, the cheese was burned on the skillet and the chicken was overcooked and dried out and stuck to the plate. She said it was supposed to be that way. She asked if she could get me something else and I told her no. I don't send food back to the kitchen. There's no telling what they will do to it. I didn't eat it, she didn't offer a discount. I told her if it was cooked the way it was supposed to be, she needed to warn future customers that it comes out burned and dried out. It took forever to get our ticket and then to get our change. My husband's tacos were good, but he tasted mine and agreed it wasn't fit to eat. I would not recommend this place. read more

Great food, great service! Hubby had the Southwest salad, and it was spot on. Beware; it's huge, but delicious! I got the three carne asada street tacos, and again, they were perfect! We're from San Diego, so it's hard to please us with Mexican food, but we love this place! The salsa isn't as spicy hot as we like it, but you can ask for the extra spicy salsa if you want. read more

This is Mexican done right. They used grilled chicken in the chimichanga that is large burrito sized. Quiet in the afternoon this Saturday, but it had a bigger crowd for breakfast. Very clean and menu had something for everyone. Cheeseburger very juicy and excellent quality. The Spouse tries bbq at almost every restaurant we go to and is almost always disappointed...but not this time. BBQ sandwich really good, just needed extra sauce which waitstaff quickly retrieved. This place rocked. It was busy but we were seated quickly. The food was quite good for a bar and grill joint. I enjoyed the queso fries and the wife had a fantastic fried catfish and shrimp basket. What sets this place apart from everything else? Prices very reasonable on appetizers, entrees and cocktails. $8 got me a LONG ISLAND ICED TEA that I could feel in one glass. $9 gets you a margarita that is $15 anyplace else. Wanna have drinks and visit but not go broke this place is the answer. Have a DD because the drinks weren't watered down. Enjoy! read more

Nice place to stop and eat if your in the area. I wouldn't drive from afar to eat there, but it was certainly good food for such a small town. 2 meals, 2 drinks and an appetizer for less then $35. Grilled chicken came out sizzling with lots of cheese. Although they were pretty busy when we stopped by, the waitresses were all very nice and tried to stay on top of things. We were passing through and seen this little place and decided to stop and check it out. We were really glad we did, the staff were all friendly and the food was awesome. I had a chicken fried steak, not something i normally have but why not. The chicken fried steak was so good and tender and covered with really good gravy, also came with a piece of garlic toast and i had mashed potatoes and salad for my sides. The mashed potatoes i wouldn't recommend, they didn't taste like real potatoes. The salad was really good tho. All in all we were glad we stopped and tried it out. read more

Some of the best Mexican food we have had in a while! The Nachos were absolutely loaded with chicken and cheese, while the Chimichanga had the perfect crispy outside and was stuffed well with chicken and cheese. The only knock here was that it took over 20 minutes for our food to arrive, but we might have come at the tail end of the lunch rush and there were at least three tables ahead of us outside and who know how many inside, Anyway, the food quality made it worth the wait! read more

Let's start with the appetizer. I ordered the spinach dip.. it's basically queso dip with spinach in it. Then I ordered the catfish and shrimp basket. The hush puppies had jalapeños in it. The cocktail sauce had hot peppers in it. Basically my tongue is burnt and cant taste anything. read more

Great place for good food and great service. At times they can get pretty busy and don't always have a ton of help so there can be a wait time. But that's only sometimes. Order the grill chicken taco salad. It was good, but honestly the chicken was cut up into very small pieces the size of my finger tips. It's like " where's the chicken." Never have I seen such small pieces of meat. Others at my table ordered fish, and although I can guarantee it was frozen, it was ample size portions. Service was good. I'm writing this review based upon their take-out performance. I ordered chicken- fried chicken w/gravy on side and a rib-eye steak. First, when I arrived to pick up the order, the lady at the counter didn't know there was an order. She confirmed it; i waited 5 minutes for the order to come out. Second, I asked about the gravy-- they had NOT put it on the side, so I had to wait another 5 minutes for them to re-do it. (They always put way too much gravy.) THEN, when I got home, they'd given me chicken-fried sreak, not chicken! To top it off, they also gave me the wrong salad dressing. The two stars are for the good vegetables; steak was cooked perfectly. read more

Would not recommend this restaurant. We ended up here because it was one of the only open restaurants available. We ordered the queso con carne which was cold and more like a puréed goop. We also got the pulled pork plate special with mashed potatoes and macaroni. Both of the sides tasted like instant prep and also only mildly warm. They were so plain we had to add lots of pepper and salt for flavoring. This got 2 stars because the first one is automatic, and the 2nd one is because it's open. read more

Wife had ribs. Too tough to eat. I had blackened catfish. The fish was underdone, and appeared to be either boiled or microwaved. Not blackened at all, no seasoning on it at all. read more
