Get your estimate in writing or your final price could be 60% higher than the verbal quote. I was told $100-$120. When I picked up the AC line the invoice was $178. I told the manager what I was quoted and the best they would do is discount the hose to $163. I'll never do business here again, and I tell every car builder I know to go elsewhere. read more

I blew out a high pressure 1100 psi line on a power rack and pinion on a car being prepped for a car show in two days. Called Hose-Man, described the problem, and they told me to bring it in. They reviewed the application with me, saw it had standard An6 fittings, and made me a new one (3250 psi) in literally five or ten minutes. I'd asked them if they could do one with a stainless steel mesh outer casing. They responded no, that they were more interested in functional than pretty. I had to agree. They even showed me why my old line blew, and it was clear I'd never have that issue with their product. Outrageous prices! I had gone online to purchase two 16" long X 3/8" hydraulic hoses for $50.46 plus shipping. When I realized that I was driving right past the Hose Man Store the following day, I stopped and had them make up the hoses. Big mistake. $133.29 later, I had my hoses. Didn't bother to ask price, so I am the only one to blame. But I will never make that mistake again! read more

I was looking for a local shop to repair some oil cooler lines, stopped off here for a quote. The price was outrageous. Maybe people with an account get a better deal but the man of the street will get Hosed! I found a shop 10 minutes away that replaced the hose for less then half the price. read more

I recently stopped in to Hose man for some 2" filler neck fuel line. I didn't blink on the price because it was a must for our project. Good thing it was only 6'. A week later I'm shopping at local RV parts store. They had same hose, same manufacture and definitely not the same price. After a sparked interest, I called a couple more stores and got a price check. They were all within reason. I can understand a little deviation in cost, but come on. Other stores $.87 - $3.74 Hose Man $13.96 per ft. OUCH!!! read more

Came here to get a few hoses for some commercial locations. They get the job done pretty quickly but beware, they charge a VERY premium price. 2 hoses cost me $80 and a few days later, a competitor quoted me $50 for the same hoses. Definitely a ripoff. read more
