They do not stand by their work. I told them exactly what muffler I wanted. They assured me the one they were selling was what I requested. Within a few days I realized this was not what I had asked for and returned to the shop. They had the one I had requested and it was the same price. They refused to refund or exchange to make good. My senior dad's truck catalytic converter was stolen and Brothers Muffler was recommended. I am very glad we decided to tow his truck there even though it was 15 miles away. We are so appreciative of their dedication to getting the job done right. He had a new catalytic converter and shield installed. There were issues with the dashboard check engine lights going on and we took it back to them to check it a couple of times and each time they were considerate and responsive to the situation. Finally when we thought all was good, there was a noise coming from the truck and again we had it towed to them and sure enough without hesitation they took it in and fixed the problem. From original price $65 to -$145 mark up for bad welding job. Worst place ever. Both times the same shit happened. I thought things would be different the second time I went but nope it was the same. First off I call on the phone to get a quote for a muffler install. I had already owned the muffler that I had wanted to put on. All I needed was a chop and replace and I told them over the phone exactly what I needed done and they asked what car and I had told them yet when I get there I had to wait. No prob but this guy didn't know what he was doing he didn't do a solid cut and weld he put a bunch of pieces together in one side and the other side is a solid pipe. So on top of this guy having trouble and having me wait for 2 hours just for that simple install. When I came to pay they had upped the original price that they had quoted me on the phone who's was $65 he raised the price to $145 just for a simple muffler install that he had trouble on. Then when I said I didn't wanna pay that price then the guy calls all his brothers for intimidation. This place was just a bad experience both times I went. I heard them with other customers when they went to pay they had also raised the price on them as well. They give you a quote on the phone just to get you in then they jack up the price after the job is done and leave your car on the lift till you pay. So you're stuck paying there price. I guarantee you that if you read this post before you go and you call for a quote then you will see how they jack up the price. These guys know what they are doing right? That's why they ask you what kinda car right? Then they pull the I didn't know exactly what I was gonna do with your car so I just gave and incorrect number. That's what one of the brothers had told me. Like really you don't know what a muffler swap is where you can't give a quote for it. These guys more then doubled the original price they quoted me. Me and my brother found these guys on offer up app and they gave my brother a deal on removing his mufflers and resonators on his 325i. The job came out perfect so I decided to bring my is350 in which has a Tanabe medallion full exhaust but I wanted it to be a bit louder so I asked the guys to remove my resonator and they said $30. Job was done in 20 min perfectly. The 35 min drive is worth it for u. Update: went back for something else to be removed after I removed all my resonators and mufflers. It is great to know that honest and reliable mechanics still exist. Brothers Muffler is by far, one of the BEST in Fontana, to go and see FIRST with ANY TYPE of automotive / engine issue! Every other local muffler place in town, including Sunrise Ford, told me I needed a NEW catalytic converter, simply because "an error code reading". Brothers Muffler asked me to bring it in first so that they could see if the car really needed a new converter, or if it was just a simple leak fix. Sure enough, they checked the converter and it was still clean! Just a simple leak was fixed, re-welded, and my engine light never came on again! The worst muffler shop you would ever come across! These guys obviously don't know nothing about installing new exhaust systems. I took my Challenger to them to replace my stock exhaust with Flowmaster, and they totally screwed up and had no clue how to do it. I got my check engine light on when I left their shop ! My car is brand new. I had a very bad experience with them and I was fooled by the good reviews they have on Yelp until I went there and tried.
