That felt insane to me, so I decided to get a second opinion and took it to Auto Technik instead. I am SO glad I did. I first reached out to them through Yelp, then hopped on a phone call with them, and they were able to take my car in the very next day. After diagnosing it, we were all pretty shocked to find out that what the Toyota dealership said needed to be repaired had actually been misdiagnosed. Jay was able to figure out what was really going on simply by plugging into the car and properly reading the diagnostics. We were honestly appalled that the Toyota dealership hadn't caught it in the first place. So instead of spending $7,500 at the dealership and most likely STILL not fixing the actual problem, Auto Technik was able to properly diagnose and fix my Sequoia for around $1,500. Aside from saving me a ton of money, everyone here was just so nice and communicative with me throughout the entire process. I felt like they were honest with me, explained what was going on, and genuinely wanted to make sure the actual problem was fixed. I'm seriously so appreciative of Jay and everyone at Auto Technik. After this experience, I'm really glad I found a shop I feel like I can trust with my car. I wish them nothing but continued success!

I explained the situation and was told to bring the truck over, so I drove it there on the flat tire. After I got there, they refused to inflate the tire or repair it and told me that I had to buy a new tire. I even explained that I already had another tire at home, but they would not install a used/customer-supplied tire either. If they were not willing to inflate, repair, or install my tire, I wish they had told me before asking me to drive a heavy Cybertruck 40-50 meters on a completely flat tire. I ultimately had to call a mobile tire service and pay $120 to come help me. I understand that a shop may refuse a repair for safety or liability reasons. My complaint is about being told to drive the vehicle over first, only to find out afterward that they would not help with the flat tire unless I purchased a new tire.

I drive and I notice my passenger window is not working. It was working before, so I assumed it was some sensor or wiring that got messed up in the inspection. The auto repair shop was already closing so I decided okay I will catch them on Monday or Tuesday. Today I went in and they didn't even look at the wiring. Just said "no its going to be $300 to repair the mechanical parts of the door for the window". "This wasn't caused by the inspection". I drove back home today and found out they put the auto-lock on my doors. I didn't even notice cause I never had them on. Regardless of my mistake, the fact that they wanted to take advantage of me is disgusting and that gas smell is still happening.

In order to get it replaced by Costco, I was going to have to drive to Costco, take my old battery out, replace it with a new one, and then install the new battery all in the parking lot. I called Indpndnt letting them know the situation, and they were able to provide same day service. Dart'angon was super helpful, timely, got the job done quickly and at a great price, and the whole process took about 15 minutes. It's been a couple weeks now, and I haven't had any issues since the install. I still have to try out their multi-point inspection service, but I'll definitely be using these guys for future car needs!
