Mario came to the house and measured the windows in question and showed me their thick binder of cloth examples. I picked a cloth that I liked and paid a deposit so they could start manufacturing the frames and awning cloths to fit. About three weeks later, I was given a date they would like to install the awnings and I agreed. Three weeks later, Mario said they were ready and asked if I was ready for install. All good. During the recent windstorm we forgot to retract the awning and it was damaged. I first called the original installer, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The first thing they told us was that the damage wouldn't be covered because we didn't retract it during the wind storm, and the customer service was extremely rude. It also reminded me how difficult it was working with them in the first place, they gave us the runaround for almost 6 months before the original installation. After that, I reached out to Where Shade Is Made, and the difference was night and day. I spoke directly with the owner, who assured me I would get a call Monday morning to schedule the repair. Sure enough, Monday morning I received a call from Jimmy their GM, and from that point on everything was smooth and professional. By the very next day our shade was repaired and working perfectly again. Even better, Jimmy let us know that the repair didn't require as much work as originally expected, which actually made the final cost lower than the quote. That kind of honesty and customer service is rare these days. Thank you Where Shade Is Made for the amazing service. I truly appreciate the professionalism and quick turnaround. We've hired him two…read moretimes for three patios now -- and every single job has had the same pattern: great communication at the start, quick to collect payment, and then a slow and frustrating decline in responsiveness and reliability. First and Second Patios (2023-2024) Mario initially quoted well and seemed easy to work with. But both projects ran behind schedule. He measured wrong on the first patio cover, used visible conduit without asking, and talked us out of gutters that later caused drainage issues. On the second patio, even after giving him a two-month lead time before a big event at our house, the job was only half finished when guests arrived. He did eventually complete them, but only after multiple calls, texts, and follow-ups. Third Patio (2025) This one has been a nightmare. We paid him a deposit in early June 2025 for what was supposed to be a simple project. From there, it was endless chasing -- days, then weeks, of messages like "tomorrow," "let you know soon," and "2 or 3 days." He stopped taking calls, ignored texts, and pushed the project off repeatedly. When he finally resurfaced, he said he couldn't get the material and the price had suddenly doubled from $4,000 to $8,000 without explanation. When we refused and asked for a refund, he promised to return the deposit in 30 business days -- that deadline passed long ago. Still no refund, only excuses about being "stuck with material" or "waiting on the company." Mario is personable and friendly at first, but once he has your money, everything slows down. His pricing looks attractive, but the delays, errors, and lack of accountability make it costly in the end. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt -- three times -- but after this last experience, I can't recommend MG Awning Services to anyone. I know people reading this will ask then why did you go back to him and as I stated, we wanted to give him a chance and he was very convincing that the issues wouldn't repeat themselves. My goal was to get him to come in and also correct the issues w/ the existing patios that we have noticed but nothing. His address here says San Jacinto but his invoices states that he is in Stanton California. Mario, if you're reading this -- please do the right thing and return our payment.

Dan later answered additional questions I had then adjusted quote. The installer, Carlos, looked at the actual site conditions then discussed various options (like spacing of posts, how far to set posts from edge of patio cover, where to put downspouts, etc.) with me beforehand. Every day, Carlos would keep me updated as to the work being done. Their electrical, Mike, installed the lights, outlets and controller exactly where(& how) I wanted them. It was not some "cookie cutter" install off a pre-set plan. Things were installed the way my family & I wanted. Brittany in office kept me updated on permitting process, scheduling, inspection, etc. Initially had company install a pair of attached to house, solid (& insulated) patio covers (at kitchen & by living room). Family was so pleased with finished patio covers that we had Rooms come back and install a 24' x 13' standalone, solid, insulated patio covers outside bedrooms. Carlos made all 3 patio covers blend together. Mike wired all the lights (8 in the initial patio covers & 8 more in the standalone patio cover) so that all are controlled be a single dimmer switch. Needed to have some concrete work done under the patio covers and nearby. Rooms' recommended concrete people, James Austin Concrete, did excellent work and coordinated with Rooms for minimum disruption to patio installations. Initially called 6 companies (all local 4 star+ on yelp) for quotes. Rooms was 1 of 2 that was willing to go through the permitting process with the City. A 3rd wouldn't give me a quote because I wanted the patio covers to be permitted. The other 3 companies said that because the existing wood, open lattice patio covers had been permitted (in 1989), a new permit was not needed. Don't believe them. Big difference between open lattice wood patio covers and solid, Alumun patio cover. Plus requirements change over time. Turned out that the required dimensions for the posts' concrete footings almost doubled in size (in all 3 directions). Getting a permit means everything is built to meet City requirements. Only downside is long wait (13+ weeks) for City to approve each of the 2 permits. Several neighbors have already asked about Rooms. Even the city's building inspector asked for Rooms contact info. He wants a patio cover(s) for his place and was impressed by the work Rooms did for mine.

Nearly a year ago, we took our Fleetwood travel trailer to Inland Valley RV for some exterior repair work. The work was completed on time and was kept under the original estimate, by using mostly existing materials. We were very pleased. Over the summer, however, the front panel which had been repaired began to develop a bubbly appearance, so we took the RV back, not knowing how good the warranty would be on the original work. It turned out to be as good as gold! The Inland RV staff ordered all new materials and re-did the job beautifully, at no charge to us. We knew that Inland Valley RV had a good reputation, and we can certainly understand why. They are top-notch service providers, and they stand behind their work. I bought my rv from mike Thompson in June have yet to use it always a problem every time I put it in it was always something and took three-four weeks to get an answer always charged and added more equipment to fix the problem it never worked right hence I took it to inland rv center 1 had prompt appointment they did what they needed to do to fix my coach which I paid mike Thompson to do and they never did it also service was done in one day now I can enjoy my motor home with the up most confidence thanks to inland ,my coach will never see anybody else they care and want you business thanks again to a greet customer service and service team if you take it some were else be prepaid for the run around read more

I have found my RV store/repair shop! I was looking for an entry door assy that is discontinued and apparently made of 'unobtainium'. I was very impressed by Richard when I first called, because I was just a voice on the phone, but he was patient and helpful and even referred me to some places that may have had this item. Turns out he rummaged around and found one....and the price he charged was very, very reasonable. He took me through the repair area and it was clean and organized.
