When you first walk in there's a really nice little area where you can take pictures for social media. There is plenty of seating there's a little area with board games that you can borrow and play too. There are lots of yummy hot and cold drink available. I was not sure what I wanted to order and the guy working told me to trust him and order the Taro milk tea with boba... he drinks it everyday. All I can say is wow! It was really delicious and tasted like there were Oreo cookies in it! Yummy! My husband ordered the strawberry milk tea and the strawberry flavor was so bold and delicious! I came by on a weekday. The store was empty. The place is a nice to come to hangout with friends or to take pictures with the nice backdrop. It is a very spacious store.. Customer service: The staff was very friendly & provided the order on a timely manner. Drinks: The boba / milk tea is only served cold which was a slight disappointment as I was expecting the place to sell hot & cold boba (hence the name "hot and cold milk tea"). Walking in to the place, it's gorgeous - a flower wall and hanging chair with grey and green booths along the long walls. Very modern and chic. Plus they have a few board games/cards for people if you're interested. After sitting though, you can tell the place needs a deeper clean in certain areas. Crumbs on the floor and under the booth where they may have swept it under. My friend and I were in a corner part of the booth and you could see crumbs/spider webs forming near the floor by the windows. Just needs some extra attention. Another issue I had is that they have a sign for a Milk Crème Cheese Foam drinks so when I went to order, the workers didn't really know how to make it or what to do (for the cheese foam) because they "just put the sign up today". I didn't make a big deal about it so just moved on to ordering the drink without the cheese foam, with boba. I received my drink and didn't realize at first that there was no boba until I went to taste it so had to go up to ask for boba since I had paid to have it included. The drink was just okay - the boba were the small/harder ones instead of the slightly larger/soft ones and had more chew to them. Stopped by today and my experience was not the best. I tried ordering a milk tea on the menu and was met with a laundry list of things on their menu that they indeed did not serve. Ok... The server was rude. Not a greeting or even offering an alternative to what I tried to order. She looked at me like I was the moron for even trying to order something on the menu that they didn't have. She did not confirm my order before ringing it up or even say thank you. While I waited for my order at the bar, I noticed a robust population of fruit flys around the sink! there were dirty items in the sink as well! The place was empty, so I know it was not because they were struggling to fill orders. I got my drinks, but am seriously debating throwing them away. I was really grossed out by the bugs. I am not sure if there is a lack of training for employees or they just don't care. However, if you want a Instagram picture, they are set up for that there are several spots for pictures. They also have random items for sale that I am sure you can include in pictures. Obliviously that is where their focus is as opposed to running a clean bubble tea shop. This new spot opened up 3 months ago! It's super cute and they have so many options in the menu. I got the taro milk with rainbow jelly tapioca but that kind of threw the taste off so next time will stick with the regular black one. My friend got the strawberry one which was on the stronger side. Portion sizes are large too. It's pretty spacious and at a great location on Golf Road. They even have board games! read more

They even have a large flower wall inside next to two decorated chairs that are perfect for Instagram pics. I had the signature milk tea with crème cheese foam and boba. Although it was on the strongly sweeter side, it was still delicious. I bet it would taste just as great without the topping, as a recommendation. Also offers a 10% discount for students with an ID. Got 4 items in less than 10 minutes. Taro Milk Tea -- 7.5/10 -- Good, tastes like what your expecting. Has just the right amount of sweetness. It was creamy, but I felt as though it was a little gritty if that makes sense. Mango Milk Tea -- 5/10 -- Had very little sweetness or flavor. I went back and requested more sweetener, and they added an extra pump of mango, but that almost made it a little too sweet. Mango Yogurt Slush -- 8.7/10 -- Great, much better than the Mango Milk Tea. Tasted very refreshing and would definitely get again. Strawberry Yogurt Slush -- 7.4/10 -- Was great like the Mango. Just preferred how the Mango tasted better. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Yogurt Slush drinks. You can't go wrong with both the Mango or Strawberry! This is definitely on trend in schaumburg as a cute lnstagrammers hub for colorful drinks and pretty backgrounds. I did love the asthetic but felt like it was a large empty space. Milk tea with boba had good flavor but lots of ice so you have to drink it fast or the flavor gets diluted when all the ice melts. The strawberry smoothie was overly sweet. I got the pineapple milk tea with boba, and my husband got the tiger brown sugar milk tea with boba and both were delicious! Very sweet, and their boba was chewy and sweet..perfect! We also got a bubble waffle to share, which came out hot and fresh with powdered sugar and chocolate syrup drizzle. It came in a cup with spoons. The music was a little loud, so it was a bit hard to concentrate if you brought work, but would be a great place just to hang out. I did not see anything about their WiFi password (protected network associated with their store), but I also did not ask. Additionally, if you came to work, the outlets are little inconvenient. I will add, it was a little pricy: for 2 drinks and a waffle, we paid about $18. Overall, the store was clean, the drinks and waffle were delicious, and the employees were nice. Very disappointed! We ordered signature milktea and kumquat lemon tea but none of them has the taste of tea. The signature milktea is too sweet and the kumquat lemon tea tastes just like iced lemonade but all the ice melt. read more

My gf and I are big fans of cafe drinks, so we wanted to look around to grab a beverage since we were going to be in Schaumburg running errands this past Sunday (10/9) Came across Hot & Cold Milk Tea and decided to check them out. The cafe was surprisingly spacious and aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee and my gf ordered the iced brown sugar espresso. Our drinks were such disappointment, tasted nothing but sugar and milk. Adding with a ton of iced added, was expecting more but other reviews speaks for itself. Another thing is, the girl (light brown hair with make up) who took our order was a bit rude. We thanked her a few times and she looked at us without any acknowledgment. I suggest they hire better people with a friendlier approach, not a good look for a new business. Don't think we will be returning here, so many better places in Schaumburg. read more

Super aesthetic on the inside, very clean cut with a flower wall for pictures, swinging chairs, green sofa, and gold detailings all throughout the store. Highly suggest coming here for not just a great interior design but also great drinks. My sister and I came here together and I got the Thai tea with boba and she got the signature milk tea with boba, and we both loved it. Very delicious and tasted exactly as they should. Their taro milk tea is one of the best I've had, doesn't taste like powder at all (if they do use powder then they do it very well). The place was clean with cute fall decor and the person working was helpful in offering that they have almond milk as a non-dairy option. FYI I didn't want any drinks I would order at Starbucks such as lattes or frappes. I asked the person working which drinks would pair well with almond milk and only the strawberry or mango or pineapple milk tea are an option to make with almond milk. I ordered the strawberry milk tea (comes in one size only which is a good portion size and is $6.44 with tax) and inquired if the boba is vegan or if it contains gelatin. She said it does contain gelatin and did not have the ingredient list to show me so I skipped adding any boba. The drink is not at all sweet, I can mainly taste the tea and do not taste any strawberries so this must be what a fruit tea tastes like? It's nice that they have options for vegans but I wouldn't order this again. I added a photo for you to see. I actually found this place on accident but it's now my go to place in Schamburg. If you have a typical drink order then theres no need to look at the menu. The menu is quite extensive but I think it's a great option for going with friends who don't necessarily like boba/milk tea. They have a lot of fruit tea, smoothies, coffee options. Cursing in the music with children present. No matter if it's 10 am or 10 pm, Cursing in any establishment that is family friendly is unacceptable. Then having music with "Nigga" in it. Blasting with other cultures and minorities there highly unprofessional. If that's what you listen to in your home and car that's fine but not having any clean lyrics in an establishment is very wreckless behavior.
