We went for a walk on a warm March afternoon and ended up at Re-Feel Cafe. The shop is well appointed, with fun plush animals and games along the walls. There were two people working behind the counter when we were there. And, all of the tables, except for one, were full. The shop is still new, yet seems to have developed a devoted following. They hand-craft their drinks - mainly coffees and teas. I had a coconut latte. The latte was good. They were a little light on the coconut syrup, though. They also have pastries which looked quite good. Mainly, it was good being there with friends unwinding after a long day.

The strawberry jasmine tea is so refreshing. They use their own strawberry compote . I did notice she put three pumps of syrup in before the compote and tea so I will ask for no syrup next time . They have all kinds of goodies so don't forget to look on the other side of the counter . The owner is so nice and you can tell she takes pride in doing a great job

We stopped by Re-feel Cafe in Palatine and discovered a true hidden gem tucked inside a strip shopping center near Algonquin and Roselle. This cozy cafe is full of charm, with adorable red panda decor and a board game area where customers can relax and enjoy some fun while sipping their drinks or enjoying a treat. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jhoanna, who was incredibly friendly and offered excellent guidance on what to try. Her recommendation did not disappoint--I loved the Peach Mango Smoothie with Konjac Jelly. She explained that konjac is high in fiber (glucomannan), which slows sugar absorption and makes it a great option for diabetics. I really appreciated her thoughtful suggestion, especially since I'm always mindful of my sugar intake. We also tried the Matcha Banana Pudding Latte, Mango Smoothie with Mango Jelly, and Strawberry Banana Smoothie, and every single treat was delicious. On top of that, we learned they recently completed their first tea pairing tasting and have plans for another one soon--something we're definitely looking forward to attending! Their pastries, made by a talented chef from New York, looked absolutely amazing--we'll be back to try those for sure! You're missing out if you don't check out this place. We can't wait to come back and try more of what Re-feel Cafe has to offer. Highly recommend!

The best matcha spot in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, a hidden gem in Palatine. The shop is cozy and red panda themed. Re feel is unmatched in matcha quality and creativity. The owner, Joanna is very kind and a visionary when in comes to curating a seasonal menu, specialty drinks and delicious baked goods. The coffee is excellent as well.

My son, who lives in the area, recommended Re'Feel Cafe & I'm so glad he did! We've been trying many of the local coffee shops recently & while they've all been good, Re'Feel Cafe has stood out as our favorite because it's consistently excellent. Whether it's the coffee, tea or one of their specialty drinks, everything we've tried has been delicious. The owner & staff are always warm, welcoming & friendly, making every visit enjoyable. The atmosphere is another reason we keep coming back. It's bright & filled with natural light, creating a relaxing space to sit, unwind & enjoy your drink. It's such a refreshing change from darker cafes. The treats are wonderful & the avocado toast is absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a new coffee shop to try, I highly recommend Re'Feel Cafe. There's a good chance it will become one of your regular favorites, just as it has for our family!

Ube latte win! Brought in my own glass, everything looks and drinks better in glass! Surprised no personal cup discount or rewards but I love these weirdly purple espresso mixes, cannot get enough, too tickled pink to find this hot spot doing tons of delightfully tasty desserts, large menu, and lovely staff! Got Lollipop stuck in my mind again! Noticed a fun relaxed atmosphere, plenty of parking in a great location, hope they do well here. Everyone come try!

Absolutely addicting! I've never had a bad drink here and I've tried a LOT. Matcha is high quality and the coffee is the perfect strength. The staff are always so nice and welcoming. it's a great spot for just a quick drink on the go or sitting with friends to chill. 11/10 such a great find

The staff was so kind and all the food was delicious! I am really picky and can confirm that everything was better than expected. They make their own whipped cream in house, the bulgogi cheese and pesto chicken paninis were perfect temperature and ideal crispiness on top. The hot ube latte was decadent, made out of my favorite conscious cup coffee roast, and the egg&cheese croissant was great! Food portions good sized and filling; Will be back again!!

Too young to f***" I walked into Daisy's, looked behind the counter, and immediately felt like Chris Hansen was going to rappel through the ceiling. The P.O.A. Index wasn't merely unavailable, it had been confiscated by the State of Illinois, sealed in an evidence bag, and transported somewhere my lawyer strongly advised me not to follow. Everyone working there looked so young that instead of wondering whether anyone was attractive, I started wondering when everyone's mother was coming to pick them up. One girl asked what flavor I wanted and I nearly replied, "Whatever people ate before you were born." This wasn't an ice cream run anymore. This was a mortality check. I entered Daisy's as a reasonably youthful man looking for dessert and walked out mentally pricing burial plots and wondering whether Costco sells Metamucil by the pallet. Fortunately, the ice cream was excellent... except for the non-sensical names. Besides the one labeled "smores" it was like trying to decide the enigma machine from WWII. If one can decipher the flavors... the ice cream is rich, creamy, enormous portions, exactly the kind of old-school neighborhood ice cream that makes you temporarily forget you've apparently become old enough to have employees serving you who don't remember a world before smartphones. Five stars... begrudgingly. I went in wanting a cone. I came out eligible for a reverse mortgage.

Their location is small, and it was pretty crowded (good for them). They have a wide variety of ice cream treats and shaved ice. We went for the shaved ice. Their portions are large, so a small is pretty big. I had a Pina Colada shaved ice. They do a nice job of rounding the top over the cup, which keeps it from dripping, too. They were generous with the syrup - it blended nicely throughout the ice. It was very good. We sat outdoors - they have several tables outside on the sidewalk. It was fun to talk with people at the other tables and watching people walk by.

That's not what you get here. This is like a Dairy Queen knock-off but not as good with the exception being they have lots of ices and lots of flavors for those ices. The ice cream is soft serve: chocolate, vanilla, or swirl. And when I asked the two young ladies to put cookies or M&Ms on our ice cream, I was told the toppings don't go on the ice cream. Then what are the toppings for?? The place is small so not great for sitting down and the girl helping us clearly had no idea what she was doing. I know it's probably just a summer job for her so no judgement. I just couldn't get over that toppings were not meant to put ON ice cream at this place. Wish I had gone up the road and tried Daisy's instead.

They were delicious but we knew we weren't getting the best of the batch and also noticed people in the back making tons of donuts. So we decided to return for a 7 am donut run....... PERFECTION! The donuts were sooooo fresh and sweet and there were soooooo many flavors - the huge apple fritter was moist and our new favorite was the payday with vanilla, caramel icing and peanuts. But I think what really stood out was how long the donuts taste good after you buy them and Spunky Dunkers didn't disappoint. Get them home and in a ziploc bag or Tupperware and they tasted just as good 2 days later This place isn't a secret either and I see why. Her actions made me feel anxious and angry and I just wanted to be done with the order and leave asap. No matter how good the donuts are, I would never be back after that kind of interaction. It's too bad that they sell such sweet wonderful donuts but have such a sour person as your first person to take care of you.
