The staff were so lovely here, answered any and all questions I had. I tried one drink, and I want to try them all! I must have returned multiple times since going there the first time, I enjoyed it that much. My go to is a taro milk tea with classic boba, and taro pudding. The taro pudding is too thick to come up the straw, so it's a nice little treat to have after you finish your boba drink once you rip the cover off. I was en route to Palatine and took a detour for a pick me up. Kattea has been on for a longest time and finally got a chance to check it out. Soft Opening Review! Kattea Boba House just opened in the strip mall center off Barrington Rd & Golf Rd. I visited for their soft opening and was thoroughly impressed! The inside had a large service/ordering counter and seating all along the perimeter. They had a prize wheel to spin where I got the cutest Cat Topper for my lid! The wait time was a bit longer if you ordered the matcha/espresso drinks but staff was very transparent upon ordering. When asking for recommendations, they suggested the Harvest Fruit Tea so I ordered that. It was absolutely delicious and one can taste fresh fruit. My husband got the Thai Milk Tea and also was very impressed! Overall, I loved both of our drinks and would definitely come back. Definitely come out and try Kattea Boba House! What a clean and instagrammable little shop! A great spot to hang out as well as study if you want, it has a great vibe. The service was great and they were very helpful with questions considering this was our first visit. The drinks were also very aesthetically pleasing and tastes good by preference. And I say that because I loved my salted vanilla bean matcha but my wife didn't like it. But she loved her banana cream matcha and I wasn't a fan. Let me start off by saying this was sooo good. I ordered the biscoff matcha latte with almond milk and I could definitely taste the biscoff. I would definitely order it again however, I wished I could have tasted the matcha a little bit more. The service was amazing, all the employees were all so kind and welcoming. Love love love this place! Greeted with a warm welcome and cute mofusand x sanrio stickers. I got the earl grey milk tea (Large) with a cheese cap and the strawberry cat paw on the side. My sister got the oolong milk tea (regular) with the cheese pudding ball on the side. Both drinks were so good. No changes to sweetness level needed, but honestly I loved the earl grey one more. The flavor was so rich -- I wish I can have it again (I'm not from here). The cheese pudding ball had a nice surprise to it, bouncy & filled with cheese. Strawberry cat paw was very subtle on flavor, I ended up tossing it in my drink since I enjoyed it more that way. the store is cute! lots of places to sit however it dos tend to get busy and it may be loud if you are looking for a place to work from as well. the choice of flavors is ok. but pricey for the size of the cup plus the fact you have to pay extra for the tapioca boba pearls is a bit insane in my opinion but i digress. will come back once in a while. read more

Everyone is so friendly walking in and they always make a point to remember me and my husband's names! I've visited at least 5 times now and I've tried different expresso lattes. My favorite is her biscoff peanut latte but all her lattes have that perfect velvet coffee texture. The chocolate wild berry expresso latte tasted like chocolate dipped berries! So good!!! If I lived near here it would definitely be my go to coffee spot. Her strawberry matcha is the best matcha I've had too! The oolong milk tea has always been my go to drink and a lot of other places don't get the tea part quite right but Kattea got it down! The aroma of the tea is amazing! Her harvest fruit tea is my go to if I'm feeling something refreshing though and it always hits. Although the staff as seen us so much they still make it a point to get our opinions on their drink and always offer to alter it the way we'd like it! So kind!!
