Pleasantly surprised. Very clean. Concept is interesting once the order process is understood.

Do you want incredible Japanese food??? Umami is the way to go!!!…read more To start off the atmosphere is just so cute. All the Japanese anime figures and art work makes it a fun environment. Staff are always nice and welcoming. They always provide fast service too! The food is so good. I've had it both door dashed to me and in restaurant. Let me say that they can cook everything up fast! Definitely no long wait times to get your meal. The portions are awesome too and always so fresh! I think this is the best authentic Japanese food you can find in the area. There is plenty of options to choose from too. Sushi, ramen, bubble tea, teriyaki. They have it all and it tastes amazing! I recommend the tonkatsu ramen, friend gyoza and the shrimp tempura roll! Can't get any better than this.

We arrived after 6:40 not a really busy time but it still took 14 min to get our order placed and another 15 before we got appetizers. The music was a bit too loud but the overall vibe was as expected. The menu was updated and the specials seemed very creative. We ordered the boba drinks but they forgot the boba and I had to ask for it afterwards. Overall delicious food just a bit frustrating to wait for the basic server attention. I will definitely return to try the specials and I hope by then they get more staff.

This place does not miss. Gohan Bistro customer service is top tier (which I value over food). The waitress this time around made us feel like we were the only ones in the establishment, all while handling quite a few customers. The ambiance same as before laid back date day/night or just getting out and want to grab a bite of eat. Now last time i ordered a special roll and couldn't remember the name and forgot to get the picture! I did not this time in fact the Rill is call the.... Rattle Snake roll! No avocado, add jalapeno and it was delish! We also had the California Roll, kids teriyaki, pork ramen add jalapeno(I like spicy food!) and the fried chicken (Karaage).

The sushi was freshly made and had a sweet touch to them, which I personally enjoyed. As for the ramen, it was full of flavor and tasted amazing. I will 100% come back, especially for their sushi! The restaurant looked clean but the table we sat at was sticky, causing our napkin to get stuck.

Delicious!! This was…read moremy first time having ramen, and my friend suggested we go here, and I'm so glad we did! Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! Worth the drive from Clayton, where I live.

The short rib ramen was good, but the noodles were short, like they were cut or made short on purpose. The shrimp shumai was disappointing. Small bite sized portions, but they were soft. After cutting into one, I found out that they use rice as a filler with a bit of shrimp. I've never seen rice used in shumai, unless it's Shanghai sticky rice shumai. Also got a unagi don togo, it was good, just a bit small on the portion of eel, but it's hard to mess up an unagi don.
