    Mushroom Lovers Ramen

MUSHROOM LOVERS RAMEN Went to go have a good ramen lunch! Very tasty, I added pork slices to my ramen and I heavily enjoyed how they sliced and cooked their pork. The veggies were perfect and the noodles tasted perfectly cooked. I got the miso base for the soup and definitely was delicious. Service was very nice and we had a sweet waitress that attended to our accommodations perfectly! Staff excelled! The ambience was super cute too. Cozy with a Japanese flare to it. I appreciate that the menu was not confusing and was decent priced. Great ramen I highly recommend to go here!

Was expecting the dish to be actual donburi, but the 3 small pieces of unagi tasted delicious. A little disappointed, but would still go back for their sushi rolls.

been wanting to check this place out, and it did not disappoint! the gyoza were solid, and the sushi was amazing. the hand rolls were about $6 each, and honestly, i could've eaten a ton of them. the sushi roll had a serious kick--probably a little too much for me with the sriracha, jalapeño, and spicy tuna all in one. but overall, the food was great, and i'm definitely coming back to try their ramen. the service was great, super friendly and attentive. the place is small but has a cozy vibe, which made the whole experience even better. and the fried cheesecake ice cream was the perfect way to end the meal.

The atmosphere was really nice, the food was good and the customer service was good. Charlotte didn't have the best customer service, she walked past us several times without asking if we were ready to order or if needed anything but Bree was great! She checked on us several times, made suggestions and she was pleasant to speak with.

Taiyaki with vanilla ice cream and red bean ice cream.

The food was phenomenal and the service definitely matched if anything, I'll be coming back just for the taiyaki!

    Sesame Chicken Bowl with rice

Gohan Bistro has tasty food! My friend ordered the gyoza (dumplings) and I dipped mine in soy sauce that some green onions in it. It was lightly fried and very good. I ordered the sesame chicken poke bowl with rice (pictured) and it had slices of avocado and corn with some garnish in it. I ate mine with chopsticks, and I was the last one to finish my meal. . . haha. . . .that's the first time for me since I generally eat quickly. And it was filling!

Let me start by saying the Gyoza was AMAZING!! I really love the setup of this place. The atmosphere is so cute! I'm not a ramen connoisseur though I have eaten a variety of these soups from NY down the east coast to FL and I will say, i am not a fan of their ramen. It was my first time here and i just decided to try a random, but simple flavor. The broth tasted different;can't put my finger on it.... I can say the food was fresh because they cook it in the front. I just wasn't a fan of the broth. BUT, I am willing to come back in and try something different. Also, I got the melon milk tea and it was soooo sweet, it tasted like a LAFFY TAFFY on 10! I'm a sugar addict so I love anything extra sweet but there was no way anyone could drink this. I ended up drinking as much as I could and tossing the rest. I took my dinner to go but I wish they would separate the ingredients so everything doesn't swell on the ride home (I only drove about 7 minutes and everything was mushy). I wouldn't get the melon milk tea again nor that flavor of soup but I'm willing to give them another chance.

This place is a 10 PLUS! The food is phenomenal and authentic! We tried the garlic butter edamame, Hawaiian ahi tuna poke, tonkotsu spicy pork belly ramen and Gen mai cha green tea! It's a must try!

I'm disappointed because I made it very clear about my spice preference, especially since this happened before. It feels like customer requests aren't being taken seriously. I understand some cuisines are naturally spicy, but if a restaurant offers spice levels, they should respect what the customer asks for.

You can tell they specialize in ramen or udon. I got the karage ramen with spicy miso broth. Wasn't oily, or heavy, but it wasn't as spicy as I thought. The ramen wasn't too squishy, but I did think the karage pieces were slightly too big. However, fresh chicken pieces and fried very well. The customer service surprised me. We watched the manager or owner, not sure who he was but take great interest in caring for his customers. He came up often to ask how we are doing and even saw him help an elder lady take her orders to her car because she couldn't carry everything. Not much dining space, but there are few tables and a bar top to dine on. Definitely recommend this place and will certainly be back next time I visit!

Staff are always nice and welcoming. They always provide fast service too! The food is so good. I've had it both door dashed to me and in restaurant. Let me say that they can cook everything up fast! Definitely no long wait times to get your meal. The portions are awesome too and always so fresh! I think this is the best authentic Japanese food you can find in the area. There is plenty of options to choose from too. Sushi, ramen, bubble tea, teriyaki. They have it all and it tastes amazing! I recommend the tonkatsu ramen, friend gyoza and the shrimp tempura roll! We arrived after 6:40 not a really busy time but it still took 14 min to get our order placed and another 15 before we got appetizers. We ordered the boba drinks but they forgot the boba and I had to ask for it afterwards. Overall delicious food just a bit frustrating to wait for the basic server attention. I will definitely return to try the specials and I hope by then they get more staff.

This is a very cute-stylish, little Japanese restaurant in the heart of Fayetteville…read more I tried their Shrimp & Scallops Hibachi Meal, along with a side of Fried Calamari...and both were quite good. I will say, however, that the batter for the Calamari was too soft...also cut too large. The thing that bothered me was how they did not offer a spoon or a fork (just the chopsticks) when I clearly ordered a rice dish. Did they expect me to eat rice with my chopsticks?!? This is a running pet peeve of mine in restaurants nowadays...as so many have gotten so stingy about offering spoons and/or forks...let alone a complete set of silverware. In fact, they gave me a cheap plastic spoon!!! Just WOW. I just don't get this ...especially from such a nice, little restaurant. I mean, this is not McDonald's! Immediately dropped their class level down a notch. I just don't appreciate how so many restaurants have degenerated like this in recent years (following Covid). Again, this seems to be an issue not just here, but many others I've been. Guess I could have really liked this restaurant, but this plastic spoon thing killed it for me. Still, the foods were good enough to return.
