This was surprising because I've had their lemonade before when it was tart, not too sweet, and refreshing. I placed a custom order for lemonade ($4.79) and Alondra is very kind in adding more water with extra ice, so my drink is less sweet. It would be cool though if they had fresh lemon slices available to add in. Other than that, the lemonade is good! Service from Alondra is friendly, courteous and attentive. I love Hot Dog on a Stick! I prefer beef, but I've tried the turkey and both cheeses and I like them all. The batter they use is perfectly sweet against the savory fillings and they fry up so crispy but fluffy. Like most others, I love the lemonade here. It's a bit sweet but it's absolutely tasty, delicious. I tried the lychee lemonade for the first time this time around and it was so freaking good. The kids who work here are usually just that, kids, but I have never had bad service, and my orders have never come out wrong. I like being able to try the special flavors of lemonade before making a commitment. The place is usually pretty clean too. My partner really wanted Hot Dog on a Stick with a lemonade. Got the lemonade, but waited over 30 minutes for his food. The table next to us were also waiting just as long and even asked for a refund. Four people behind a counter were providing super slow service and no apologies. Omg! I always loved Hot Dog on A Stick lemonade! About two decades ago, we used to go to the mall food court multiple times a week just for the lemonade. Then, it disappeared from the malls. I really thought it went out of business. When we went to the Galleria Mall at Sunset, because we were looking for a specific store there, we walked through the Food Court and WOW, it was Hot Dog on A Stick right front of us. I was craving a Hot Dog on a Stick diet lemonade SO BAD that I actually braved the Henderson Mall, aka the Galleria at Sunset, during the crazy-busy holiday season yesterday to get my fix. I've been daydreaming about a lemonade for months, and I donned my super-safe mask and hit up the food court. This location is a normal food court HDOAS, but they have all the favorites. Employees were masked up and taking precautions, so I felt safe ordering my lemonade. The line moved quickly and there were clear markers on the floor noting where to stand for safe social distancing. I paid my $5, got my drink, and headed back outside to my car to take that first sip. My lemonade was fresh, tart, and absolutely perfect. I realize I post with the risk of being called a Karen, but really can not let it go. Don't generally stop here when in the mall but a lemonade sounded good so my family did. My husband, Brother, and I all decided to get lemonades in different flavors. We all ordered individually with the kid at the counter and then my husband paid for the order. My husband and I got ours very quickly but were still waiting on my brothers. When we realized that maybe they had not heard it, my husband went up and asked if it was being made. The cashier Sergio had such an inappropriate attitude when my husband went over to ask about it... like we were inconveniencing him. My husband went up and asked "Hey, is that watermelon lemonade on its way out", no attitude, genuine curiosity. This guys initial response was "you guys didn't order that". My brother who put in the order literally had an entire conversation with him about what lemonade flavors were available before he put in his order. Whatever, maybe he just didn't hear when he ordered. So my husband say "oh well we thought we did..." and before finishing his statement saying we would just order it now he was cut off with "dude, I literally read the order back to you so slow". When I tell you, i was so speechless by that response... Excuse me? Since when is it ok to talk to customers like that? I have worked in the service industry for 8 years so understand customers can generally be jerks about this kind of stuff, but none of us approached this situation in a way that should have ever warranted that response like that. Ultimately, we just asked to put in another order so my brother would have a drink for our car ride, but proceeded to get stared down with the dirtiest looks by all of the other employees behind the counter as we waited. I have never been so uncomfortable with the treatment of an entire staff at any establishment. Genuinely could not see myself coming back here for any reason out of simple fear for ever having to deal with treatment like that again OVER A LEMONADE. Instead your assistant manager is yelling at the other staff person saying that she can't hold up the line. One other person had a question, not ordering, to upgrade her meal. The assistant manager said that he would have to call the manager. No authority as an assistant manager, only by name. Honestly, worse location we've been to. First off, the manager is a complete horror. Rude. Messed up our order & we were understanding enough to not be upset about it but it's like you are the manager of this location and we would've expected this behavior from an employee of yours, not a manager. Secondly, you guys charged my debit card TWICE. & you guys can't even admit to me nor fix the problem. I called the same day that we noticed it and was there, was told to come in on a Saturday to speak to the same manager that charged us and she completely made it feel like it was OUR fault that there was two charges on the debit card. Mind you, it is not a PENDING charged, it is a completed transaction. I explained the situation and that I had already called, in which they said to come in on Saturday only for her to blantly tell me that "she never did that and there is NOTHING we can do about it on our end, that's not even possible to have two charges. It must've been something YOU did." OKAY, because I SWIPED my card TWICE right? Funny. So she hands me a trashy piece of a paper to call "ACCOUNTING & PAYROLL" for HDOS. I call them on Monday (which is today) & the receptionist collects my information and I explain what happened. She doesn't apologize, she doesn't even understand what is happening and says they will get back to me. No one has ever called since. Worst experience ever.
