I've been seeing a lot of videos about this place on social media, and once I realized it was so close to home, I knew I had to give it a try. I placed my order through their website, which was easy to use and offered plenty of customization options. From the moment I arrived, this place did not disappoint. It was busy inside, but there were several tables available for those who wanted to dine in. Be prepared, though, you'll probably be asking for a to-go box because the portions are generously sized. The staff was busy but remained friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Gordo Burrito, and it was absolutely incredible. I will definitely be coming back and working my way through more of the menu. They even have an "off-the-menu" menu available on-site. I didn't get a chance to take a good look at it this visit, but it's definitely something I'll be checking out next time. We ordered for take out. Food was cooked well. Everything had a lot of flavor to it which was great. Our asada taco meat was kind of dry but that's probably party our fault besides we got it without toppings but added the chipotle sauce to it. We speak with the owner often and he is one of the kindest and most involved owners I have met. The owner and the employees are willing to offer suggestions and make sure that your food is prepared to perfection. Another place I've been wanting to try and I did this morning. I ordered a breakfast burrito but asked for carne asada instead, which they happily obliged. The asada was cooked well, lacked seasoning in my opinion. The cheese is hard melted almost crispy on the tortilla making it the base. Interesting to say the least. I thought it would've been traditionally added for a gooey cheesy texture how I normally like it. The tortilla is on point. I could eat the tortilla with just butter. The location is very clean. Awesome art work on the walls. The service was great. She explained everything we asked about since it was our first time there. As for the food is was really good. We tried the Aztec Fries with 1/2 carne asada and 1/2 adobada! We also had an Aztec Hot Dog and that was a good mixture of flavors. I recently found this place on Facebook and went to their Lone Mountain location. This one is near my work and I came here with a friend. These are the best burgers I have ever had. I had the Baja Burger and added Grilled Jalepenos and it was INCREDIBLE. Service was great and they were fairly busy. I like that this location has a bigger dining area which is great for a work lunch. We came in on taco Tuesday so of course we ordered burritos. Well, my dad did. I ordered a couple of tacos. Two al pastor and one asada to be exact. Both were generously filled considering they are street tacos. The asada was quite good. Bite size pieces of steak. Some good guac. A solid few bites of food. The al pastor, topped similarly, ate very different. It almost felt soft and ground. I was reminded of chorrizo more than the al pastor I am used to. The flavor was different than chorizzo though. Just texturally thas is what I kept thinking. They were also very oily. I had red grease dripping down my arm. Good tacos but a bit much. I would probably stick with the asada on future visits. And future visits are definitely on the menu. Chino's is basically on my way home from work. I could easily stop by and grab dinner. Heck, I could probably make it there on my lunch break. So when I want those good street tacos and it's taco Tuesday, I know where to come. In case you're wondering, they do offer a taco Tuesday special. $2.29 for asada and al pastor. I decided to give this place a try after a trip to Sam's Club. It's hidden in the corner of the adjoining parking lot, next to EZ Shipping. The music is a bit loud but the service is quick, friendly and helpful. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. I went for the Al Pastor burrito with fries. I hate to say that the fries weren't great, a bit hard and dry. The burrito however was a home run. It was packed full with meat and Spanish rice. Next time I'll ask them to add cheese. So, I have been wanting to try this place for a while, Had to go to Sam's Club so perfect kill two birds with one stone, so they saying goes. Figure I be nice so, I call the office and ask if anyone wants a breakfast burrito. Only one person says yes, got the Bacon Burrito and Chorizo Burrito, I had the Chorizo one, not sure how it was cause I ate it so fast, no I ate it fast but DAMN that was great!! I went to ask my colleague and before I could say anything he says "eh where did you get that Burrito? " I said Chino's. He had already finished as well and said wow that was really good. My sister and mother in law recommended this spot to me. I decided to try it since I was hungry and remembered it was coming up along the way lol. I ordered 2 Aztec tacos with no avocado or guacamole since I am allergic to avocado unfortunately. I know bummer lol anyways these tacos were so good and tasty it didn't need it. The Aztec taco has grilled shrimp , gilled carneasada grilled peppers topped with onion cilantro and some sort of chitpotle sauce. It was delicious. I definitely recommend. Food quality has gone down at this location. Rice is hard and dry. Carne asada is not fresh and seems old. And not very flavorful. Also i dont know what the issue with the salsa is. They are kinda stingy with it. They want to give you only one for a burrito and when you ask for two or three they give you a look. Mind you sometimes the one that they give you is not even filled to the rim. Barely any salsa in each container they give. That and the already dry burrito because of the dry meat and old rice the experience was horrible and not what i experienced the first time i went. Maybe i should stick to the gordo burrito which does have all these sauces inside but if you are in for anything else i dont recommend. There are so many places that are better.
