I found this place on ClassPass and had been wanting to check it out for a while, so I was glad to see it finally added. I decided to try the lymphatic massage, which was 16 credits. I am glad it was priced that way, because I probably would not have booked it if it had cost more. I called ahead of time to get a better understanding of what to wear, and they let me know that clothing would be provided, which made things easy and convenient. The service lasted 60 minutes, and they even provided a remote so I could watch TV during the session, which was a nice touch and helped make the experience feel more relaxed. I did leave with slight bruising on my arm, which I was not expecting, but overall I would be open to giving it another try. I am also interested in trying the sauna next time to see how that complements the experience. read more

I did the Infrared Sauna Bed earlier this week - the woman who checked in was kind, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed. I love that they provide an option for you to get into one of their loose outfits for you to sweat in instead of sweating in your own clothes - I will admit I was hesitant about this at first, but the clothes were clean and soft. The service itself was great! I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. They have the option for you to watch from their streaming services, listen to music, or relax. They attende checked on me multiple times to make sure I had plenty of water and was feeling okay. As for customer service the owner Shaun is so kind - I had an issue with my second booking because of something that went wrong in class pass and updating my calendar. This place is heaven! I first went back in 2020 and haven't stopped since. You can choose from a sauna cabin, lymphatic cleanse or Infrared body wrap to get your sweat on. I love all three, but I prefer the body wrap. It is super clean, inviting and sooooo relaxing. The owners are very friendly and informative. You are provided with a cold towel, entertainment (tv) and water during your session. It feels good and refreshing to get all the toxins out and get your blood flowing. My favorite part is the Zen Den, a place to chill after that is so serene and peaceful to decompose before you leave. Came here for the infrared body wrap not really knowing what it was. But it was AMAZING. Its basically an infrared heated sleeping bag that they wrap you in for 55 minutes that makes you sweat like crazy. They give you sweat pants, shirt and socks to change into and they will be totally soaked when you're done. While you're in there for 55 minutes you get to watch netflix or other streaming shows. After its over they take you over to the "Zen Den" its very tranquil; salt lamps, scented infusers, iced herbal tea, nuts, cold orange wedges for recovery, soft music playing. Very relaxing I felt so relaxed and chill for the rest of the night and slept like a log and my skin feels so soft too! Sean and Jenica provide excellent service, are super nice and explained everything. There is a paid parking lot across the street but also lots of metered parking in front and surrounding streets, but there was lots of free parking on 6th ave too. I felt amazing after doing this Infrared Body Wrap! Very reasonable for $50 and they also have packages or membership options that bring the price down too. Tips: drink water before you arrive and when you get home after too. Don't wear lotion on your skin. I've been meaning to write this review for quite a while- I stopped by Hot Haven during my trip to San Diego in November. Hot Haven truly exceeded my expectations, making it a standout in my memory and a must-visit spot for me any time I drive into the San Diego area from Phoenix! Came across hot haven on class pass so I decided to treat my body to an infrared body wrap. This is my new favorite wellness activity. In preparation for my wedding I was looking to do some sort of cleanse and stumbled upon Hot Haven that offers services for lymphatic cleanse, body wraps, etc. I tried out the body wrap and was so happy with the results. It felt like a workout and relation all in one. When you arrive they check you in and take you back to the bathroom to change. They provide you with a long sleeve shift, sweat pants and socks so that your own clothes stay clean. Once you change, they take you to your chair for the service. The chair you lay on is super comfortable and cover you in the heated body wrap. You can watch any show on the tv, listen to music, or fall asleep. They bring you a towel about 3/4 the way through the service to help cool you down, as well as a good time check so you know where you are at in your service. You can ask to adjust the heat they have a couple different settings, I like the hottest setting (but I really enjoy the heat). If it is your first time, they will probably recommend the lower setting which still makes you sweat a ton. They provide you water re-fills throughout to help you stay hydrated and once done you can go to the wellness room to relax for a couple minutes before you change. Your belongings are kept close to you so they are safe. I had Netflix on but I was so relaxed I fell asleep. Other clients respected some house rules like respect each other, the space and speak quietly. We all were there to work on our health and relax so this was very nice. I recently retired from the U.S. Navy and wanted to find a place to relax and detoxify after 22 years of living and working in stress environments around the world. I've been to several saunas throughout San Diego and The Hot Haven provided the best experience I've ever had. The facility was very clean and had a relaxing ambiance. It definitely didn't look like somebody suddenly had a bright idea to install an infrared sauna and a few massage chairs in their living room and call it a spa/sauna studio, as a few businesses in the area have tried to do. Hot Haven is a well thought out sauna studio that caters to your needs of relaxation, detoxification and healing. Jenica was very nice and welcoming from the moment we entered the studio. She explained in detail the service my wife and I were receiving that day and several membership packages that were available. Our infrared cabin was spacious with enough room for around 3 people. It also had state of the art features that enabled us to play music, watch videos, monitor the inside cabin temperature and how much time we had left during our 55min session. I went for the very first time yesterday and I'm still thinking about it! ClassPass finally lets you sign up for Hot Haven and I signed up for the Lymphatic Cleanse immediately. After the holidays I wanted to clear up my lymphatic system which is directly connected to your immune system (cold-fighter) and bloating and uses these massage suits to increase circulation from your up your torso and your arms. It felt so good to be squeezed and massaged all over. Jenica was awesome and adjusted the level of squeeze after she started at medium. I wanted to really get all the toxins out of me so I asked for the high setting. She let me know that a lot of people will do the infrared wrap or cabin after this massage which sounded like a great idea for next time! After all that circulation, letting your body sweat out all the toxins. The only reason I didn't do it was because I would be going to hot yoga. The experience from the warm greeting up front, changing into nice clean sweats and the zen den at the end where you can drink water and even have some oranges really made this an unforgettable experience. What a unique find! I've been searching for something like this for a while. You're greeted with water in a bright welcoming space and then depending on your service (I got the lymphatic treatment) provided with a change of cozy cotton clothes and socks. Several of the rooms have TVs - your choice to doze off, watch a movie/show or listen to music. Once I was suited up it felt a firm hug going up and down my legs, torso and arms. So relaxing to just zone out for a bit. More water was provided during the treatment as well. Once the treatment ends you're guided into the 'Zen Den' where tea, nuts and oranges are waiting for you as you transition back to reality. I really love it here. This is a great place to relax and have a restart. I came here a few times this spring (2023) and I have zero regrets. I have tried the Lymphatic Drainage and Infrared bag and I love them both. I did not do them both at the same time as recommended. I'm not in the best shape so I knew it would be a lot on my body. A mind and body healing experience. 100% would recommend, favorite spot in San Diego. I had the best time at Hot Haven! When I stumbled there last week, I had been traveling for the last 2 weeks; hence, my back and neck were hurting, my calves and arms were sore and my ankle had been painful for the last month. It's only the next day that I realized how relaxed and at peace I was. Not only did my body miraculously felt no pain anymore, but my mind was at ease. I was astonished by the results. The lymphatic cleanse felt like a massage or multiple enormous hugs, all while looking like an astronaut on a mission and enjoying your favorite show on tv, what else could you ask for? The infrared wrap allegedly makes you sweat as if you ran 2 miles, which felt more like 10! It is good for any type of body; we usually associates sweat with weight loss, but the benefits of the infrared therapy are so much wider: getting rid of toxins, reducing the pain in joints and muscles, strengthening the immune system, etc. (there's a pamphlet at the front desk if you'd like to learn about it). And the customer service! Talk about people who cares about their customers. The owner even held my bottle of water close to me so I could drink when I wasn't able to reach it while I was melting in my infrared wrap! They answered every little need of mine enthusiastically. Finally, there's a commune area where we rest afterward, allowing our body to cool down and regain nutrients with complimentary nuts, orange slices and a delicious tea. The ambience makes it easy to reconnect with yourself and people around you. I loved this so much that I went ahead and got a membership. The private sauna is perfect. I am only 5ft tall so I was able to lie down & stretch out. Towels, water, & plenty of privacy are provided. The session went far more quickly than I anticipated. We used to live on the desert floor in Arizona & I miss the dry heat. I came here last night for my first visit and it was an amazing and relaxing experience. I started off by coming in for the Lymphatic Cleanse which helps with bloats, cellulite, collagen and etc. Regular price is $50 but for first time customers, it's $40! When you get there, they have you change out of your clothing into their sweat pants, a crewneck and socks. They will put on netflix, amazon, hulu or hbo for you to walk to help make the time go by. The workers here were super nice and inviting. After my lymphatic cleanse, I ended up doing the infrared body wrap. This is the same price as the lymphatic cleanse but again, if you're a first time customer, it's $10 off. I already recommended this place to a bunch of my family and friends. I love this little spot so much. It's intimate and dark, which makes for a nice retreat. I get the lymphatic massage and it's so relaxing! I went to Hot Haven last night and absolutely loved it. I got the lymphatic cleanse massage and it was awesome. When I first arrived I was greeted by the owners (I think) and they both were so nice! They provided me with a groufit (lol all gray outfit) super soft and comfy, as well as a glass of water to ensure I was hydrated and had it at hand. The lymphatic cleanse is a 55 minute treatment. You lay down with a "body suit." Two wraps on each leg, your midsection and both your arms. It's connected to a device that controls the pressure of the massage. It started at the bottom and worked its way to the top. It felt like I was getting a warm hug. While you are laying down relaxing they have a TV if you would like to watch a show or movie, but you could easily just take a nap it is that comfortable. Afterwards you head to the "Zen Den" where they have orange slices, nuts, cucumber infused water, tea, etc. Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to head back and try the sauna! read more
