I got my blowout from Elena. She did a great job washing my hair and listened to what I stated as far as I have an oily scalp. The only thing I wasn't pleased about is she took 40ish mins to do a blowout and while that's great for someone who has short hair. I have never had someone take less time for my hair as it is pretty long. Normally, my blowouts take an hour or hour and 15 mins. And the result being, my blowout did not last more than 2 days. My blowouts normally last easily 4-5 days. I wish she took more time focusing on making sure not to just dry my hair and pin curl it, but more on making sure the round brush holding its volume.

When my stylist was ready, she was very sweet and really took care of me to make sure I get the cut and style I requested. The vibe of the salon was very personable and easy going. I really enjoyed the time care she put in to working. When she completed my hair, it looked exactly as I wanted. Today she dyed my hair and the water shut off in her new salon unit, truly a hole in the ground ( a small decrepit unit literally in the middle of nowhere). So far from anything, you will object to the amount of gas it costs to simply drive there! The dye sat on my head for nearly an hour, then the water in her unit experienced a water outage. SHE HAD NO WATER TO WASH THE DYE IN MY HAIR OUT!!!! She left her tiny unit frantically and some 10 minutes later returned. I used the water in her water bottle to wash the dye from my hair. It was not nearly enough. My hair was gummy and still soaked with that dye!When she returned she WAS NOT ABLE TO GET THE WATER TURNED ON! It was now one hour and ten minutes since she applied that dye. Instead of her being embarrassed that she COULD NOT WASH THE DYE OUT OF MY HAIR?! I purchased the "expert scalp service" which included a mini facial. It ultimately seemed like they just don't cater to people with any scalp or hair issues, they don't ask you about your concerns or goals, and really they provide a one size fits all experience. I really wanted to optimize my hair and scalp care, and sadly came away with the opposite. If they knew anything about scalp care for thinning hair, they sure didn't share any of that knowledge with me. Pro: The person who did my treatment seemed very kind and she meant well, so I have nothing against her specifically. I am giving two stars just because they seem like they try, they just don't seem to have any actual expertise in scalp or head care. The scalp analysis was a few quick close up scans of my scalp with no real explanation other than "see, there's some build up". I have very fine, brittle and thinning hair and the tech kept brushing it roughly throughout different parts of the treatment, including when it was wet with product in my hair (great way to lose more hair). I cringed as I could hear and feel my hair breaking every time. The treatment table is super uncomfortable and my neck kept locking up as the tech worked on different sides of my face, scalp and neck. The facial itself was totally claustrophobic - they put the face mask on, then a big sheet of gauze with something on top to weight it down covering your entire face, including mouth and eyes. It stays there for an hour while they do the scalp treatment. I couldn't see anything and there was so much going on with the water - it totally freaked me out when I was lying there trying to relax and had no idea what the tech was doing. And at one point, all of a sudden there's all this water shooting out at my neck out of nowhere. I spent half the treatment bracing myself for jump scares because I couldn't see anything. But even worse than the hair breakage was that the facial irritated my face so much that I am now all broken out :( I take really good care of my skin so this is a huge bummer. I have no idea what they did to it - there was some kind of scrubbing machine at the beginning of the facial that may have stripped my moisture barrier - or it was the fact that they left the mask on for an hour while they did the scalp treatment and it clogged my pores. My face is now all red and bumpy and some of it is itchy. This has never happened before, and I have no allergies - I think they just messed with my skin way too much. I'm sure they did not consider any specifics of my skin type or age when they did the facial. I'm glad other people like this place, and I'm sorry I didn't. If you have any specific scalp or hair issues, it may be best to avoid H20 or like me, you will come home with a lot less hair than you started with (and possibly a broken out face too!)

I was not even there a WEEK YEARS ago. I wanted to do the esthetics program. When I started our teacher was never in class she had to teach the other class! Some students were ghetto I had one scream at me WHY ARE YOU COLORING THIS BLUE! At the top of her lungs she always came into class reeking of weed and so loud and the instructor never said anything. They had us coloring and drawing places we wanted to visit and I colored a drink someone drew blue and got screamed at by the student and the instructor just sat there quiet didn't say anything. This student was disruptive and they never said anything to her. I got fustrated with the school and ended up quitting because our instructor was never there and always called out to teach another class. The upstairs where the classrooms were, were not even done. The floor looked like plywood and the ceiling was leaking. Not even there a week and the first couple of days they handed out the kits. Which was fine BUT they told us to OPEN our kits and go through the list . Some of us had missing stuff. Never touched the kit again after the INSTRUCTED us to OPEN the kits and mark of the list. When I let the school know I did not want to come back and tried to give them the kit back I dropped out in the time allowed! I tired to give the kit back and they REFUSED the kit and said it's because we opened it! Hello you told us to open it nothing was used or touched. They would not take it back and I am being harrassed by their bill collectors for over 3 thousand for some cheap makeup and eyelash kit with the facial stuff that AGAIN has never been used or TOUCHED and had missing items. Again explained why I did not want to return and all they said was we can not take back the kit because it was opened. Again NOTHING was used and you made the students open the kits. If you attend DO NOT OPEN the kit if you are not sure you want to be there. I wanted to be there but because of my experience and the instructor doing nothing I did not want to be in that environment. I'm not sure if the instructor was afraid of the student because she was always loud etc but you still should of addressed it, also never being in class and having us color and draw is not what people are paying you for.
