My son & I stopped in for lunch while driving through Germantown. We both ordered the $9.99 value meal (small bowl or burrito, drink, chips & salsa). We were served immediately by a pleasant & helpful young man. The restaurant looked clean & so did the bathrooms. We sat down to eat but realized our forks had not been included. Not a big deal since we were eating in but would have been a major problem if our order was to go. The small bowls were filled generously & tasted delicious. My husband and I stopped in fpr some lunch while out shopping. The staff, seemed as if they couldn't care less to help us, clingy around the bowls after placing the ingredients in them. Also there time of voice said it all! Further more there was not one single clean table in the place. When my husband asked for a cloth top wipe down a table for us the staff came out with a bucket and a wet cloth and proceeded to sling the soaking wet rag all over one table for us leaving a puddle water all over the table which we had to clean up with napkins. I understand everyone has a bad day but if you don't like your job or you don't want to be there find something else you enjoy doing. The food was ok. But the staff and dirty tables ruined the experience for me! We will defiantely NEVER be back. We arrived on Saturday August 9th, around 130pm. read more

I've been to this location several times now. I've never cared much for hothead. They are trying to copy Chipotle and doing very poorly. All of the food is a generic tasteless version of the far superior Chipotle. The guacamole is awful. The chips are generic bulk tortillas, the kind you buy for .88 at a grocery store. The extreme value kind. The only thing I've ever heard people say that they like is that they have sauces. They need sauces to cover the tasteless slop they're selling. This location is dirty. What the heck! Meat, lettuce, THEN cheese?!?!?? I mean, who runs this restraunt? Barack Obama XD? The staff here CLEARLY has not been trained well enough to know that for a toco, it goes; meat, cheese, thenLETTUCE!!!. That way the cheese melts and the lettuce stays crisp! Worst. Taco. EVER! I recently took a trip to Ohio to visit family in Farmersville, and this is the only restaurant that I absolutely had to go back for a repeat visit to. I am crossing my fingers that they will wind up here in Virginia. That aside, let me state that I love Mexican cuisine. Any type of Mexican. Even F-exican (fake Mexican, IE Taco Bell) However, in some cruel twist of fate, I am an absolute weenie when it comes to spices. Their menu offers an expansive smattering of things I'm sure would scorch the roof of your mouth. I didn't try any of the spicy stuff, but fortunately for me, virtually everything they offer is also available without the heat. This is a build your own kind of establishment. You go down the line, tell them what you want tacos, burritos (even the lil burrito is huge!) quesdillas, nachos, or even bowls, pick your fillings from their ample selection of white rice, brown rice, black beans, pinto beans, steak, chicken, Barbacoa!!!, a couple of different salsas, tons of sauces, and of course lettuce, sour cream and other taco toppings. They even sell chocolate chip cookies at 3 for a $1 for desert, which are really good. Just don't count on having room for them immediately after your meal! The service at this location is superb! The crew is swift, friendly, thorough and willing to answer questions. The restaurant is clean, and plays eighties music. The ac is just right- If this place were here in VA I'd probably go once a week. read more

Food was fine. Dirtiest hot heads I've ever been to. Went at 8:30pm on a Friday. 2 girls too busy cleaning behind the grills to come out and wait on the customers in line.Then both the manager and co worker that were cleaning went out to smoke. Heard them tell another customer they were sorry the grill was closed and they were out of the meat he wanted. Seating area a mess. Bathroom had 1 roll of tp sitting on top of dispenser. Food area behind the counter look like it blew up. I'll keep going to my hot heads in Hamilton, OH read more

I've walked out twice now because of how filthy it is behind the counter. Most of the food that is sposed to be available is never prepared. I don't think I will be heading back unless they get it cleaned up. read more

Food was good, but charged $2.50 x 2 for queso , all other HHB that I have been to only charge $1, so beware.

I was incorrectly charged for my total at this hot head location and hadn't realized it until reviewing my receipt later. I went back up to the counter and spoke with the manager, who then range up the correct total and charged my card for that, and told me the incorrect total would be refunded onto my card within a few days. Now I am out $36 instead of $16. I wait 9 days before returning and speaking to the same manager about the fact that i still haven't received my $20 refund on my card, showing him the original receipts. He then tells me he has to contact the company in charge of credit card transactions to get it refunded. He had me write down my phone number and said he would call me when he had contacted them. I have yet to hear from him or receive my $20 refund, and it has been about a month from the last time I spoke with him the SECOND time. I even emailed corporate to report this issue, with no response. I will not be giving hot head my business again. Worth the trip to chipotle instead. read more
