I tried Bubbakoo's Burritos in Springboro today. Definitely did not live up to the hype that I've seen from others. They use iceberg lettuce and the lettuce was wilted and soggy. The fajita veggies didn't appear to be cooked; it was like biting into a raw bell pepper. The chips were hard. The house salsa was good, but that was about it. Not the restaurant's fault, but still part of my experience, my delivery wasn't great either. I ordered through GrubHub. The delivery was late and the delivery guy left my order at the front desk instead of actually delivering to my apartment, which is listed on the address and in the delivery notes. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. I'll go to Chipotle Mexican Grill before going back here.

Same review as I placed on Google: We need to support these unique dining options in Springboro! Bubbakoos offers a fusion of bold flavors in your choice of a familiar burrito/taco/bowl/quesadilla. It's not Chipotle, and no one should expect it to be! Glad I tried the Chiwawa -- a huge, panko-breaded fried rice ball that can be topped with any ingredient. It ended up being a sizable entrée. The owners and employees working behind the counter were attentive and offered suggestions on what to order as a first timer. Give it a few tries to decide what combination of flavors you like best, there are so many!

Place in clean. Staff is mostly nice. It was a bit $pendy for what we got? The lovely Mrs ordered the Shredded Chicken Bowl. I ordered the Memphis Chicken Burrito but thinking as I started eating it that I may have just gotten a Grilled Chicken Burrito with a couple spoonfuls of medium salsa? It was for sure not the Memphis Heat I was craving and as the Mrs stated, this food was so bland. The burrito was just so small? Like a baked potato size? Another burrito place has us spoiled? Will we go back? Maybe? Am I craving it again now? Nope. I do like this location though. The green space right across the parking lot with the adirondack chairs and picnic tables.

Go to the restroom before you get there. The women's has been out of order for the 9 months I've been going there

They aren't too into the internet, but they do enjoy the business. It's a bit small so there may be a wait some days during the prime dinner hours. It seats 20 people indoors and a few outside at 2-tops. They offer a variety of beverages, snacks and other to-go items. They also offer cooking classes. The black bean burger is made from scratch and it is quite good, if just a bit bland. Adding hummus to it though is a good option. The veggies and bread that come with it are quality. The purple cabbage has be sauteed I guess and was essentially flavorless. The wraps are large, and nicely grilled. The location is a bit out of the way, which is unfortunate for them, and is tucked away in a nondescript strip mall. Still, supporting this family owned and operated business is an all around good experience.

We drove about a half hour to get to this location, spent a few minutes perusing the menu, then ordered. That's when we were informed that they don't accept credit cards. We literally had no cash (well, I think I might have had $1.00), so the cashier explained their 'ATM option'. He said we could run it on our credit card, so my husband attempted to do this. You still needed to punch in a PIN, and we had no clue what our PIN was because we never use our credit card this way. My husband asked the cashier what he should punch in, and the cashier rather condescendingly responded that even credit cards have PINs. So, we voided that transaction and pulled out our debit card. Mind you there is a $2.00 fee for any transaction, and you have to withdraw a rounded amount like $20 or $10 and then the cashier gives you change. Other commenters seem to feel similarly - accepting credit cards and their associated fees is a necessary cost of doing business; passing this cost on to your customers with this mandatory $2 fee (unless you have cash) is unacceptable. I will not return. Besides the shady ATM fees, the water was served lukewarm in plastic cups with no ice. There is a limited eat-in area with about six tables. One wall of the restaurant is devoted to displaying antiques. The food itself was just okay. My husband had the Vegetarian Philly, which comes with Tofurkey deli slices. I had the Garlic & Herb Tofu Spread, which was a sandwich with tangy, crumbled tofu.

We were seated promptly, and our server took our order just as quickly, making for a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. I ordered the steak Philly, and it was absolutely delicious definitely one of the best I've had. The flavors were outstanding, and it was cooked perfectly. I only wish The Yard had a location in my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. If it did, I'd be a regular and would make it my mission to try every item on the menu. It was one of the best that I've had in a while. Very strong but delicious. The Korean Cheesesteak had distinct flavor and was delicious. The Whiskey Salmon was sweet and flaky which we love and we requested loaded potatoes which was a nice touch. However, we believe the stars of the show were the appetizers of choice which were Miguel's Queso Dip with ground beef and a bowl of Chicken Tortilla soup - neither of these are pictured but take my word for it...the BEST! Overall we enjoyed dinner but will say that our server was very dry and lacked personality. It appeared as if he was ready to leave for the day lol! But we didn't allow it to ruin our time. His problem, not ours. I think we will return when we visit again!
