WOW! Just.. WOW!…read more Okay, I know you need a little more to go on than just that. My wife and I happened upon this place after driving around looking for a restaurant and remembering seeing this place whenever we go to Bowles Cafe. It was a pleasant surprise walking in and seeing a nicer interior than the metal building might suggest. I had anticipated a bar, with hamburgers and ribs and a seat-yourself at picnic tables kind of atmosphere. But we were seated by a hostess and picked a hightop in the main seating area. Looking at the menu, there was a great variety in choices. Comfort food, burgers, ribs and Italian. I opted for the chicken parmesan and my wife took a chance on the ribs. After the first bite we could tell it wasn't going to be bar food. My chicken breast was as big as a large hand with fingers spread. The meal portions are generous. I finished a third of my meal and took the rest to go. My wife's ribs were a half-slab that looked like a full-slab. Now, my wife is picky when it comes to food because she's a great cook and knows the potential food has for tasting good. She started raving about the ribs at the table and continued to sing their praises on our drive home. I've never heard such a reaction from her after visiting a restaurant. After we finished what we wanted and boxed the rest, we ordered the carrot cake. It was bakery fresh and heavenly! My first impression of this place is it has an identiy crisis. From the outside it looks like a beer and rib joint, Inside it feels like a welcoming, casual brewery but with a fully stocked bar. It has covered and open outside seating from the front and along the side. (There's a cozy area at the end of that outside seating that I eyed for next time we visit.) And when you start enjoying the food it seems like you've landed in a fine dining establishment. Whatever you are looking for in a restaraunt, other than white table cloths and stuffiness, you'll find it at Bruno's. And if you leave hungry, it's your own darn fault.

We had dinner here 1/13/26 for the first time and really liked it! The restaurant is very clean,…read moretheir menu offers a pretty decent variety and we found all of the staff to be super friendly! I ordered the fish and chips and my husband ordered the patty melt. Both came out hot and freshly made. The haddock is really good and we both liked their fries. My husband ordered the patty melt and really liked it as well. We will definitely be back!

A bit disappointing... This restaurant came highly…read morerecommended to us as our trip to Crested Butte was extra special this year. We had an important family event and chose this restaurant as our family dinner to celebrate. I mentioned in our reservation that this event was a special occasion and we were sat at a beautiful, intimate table with complementary shots at the end of dinner as a congratulations - We were very grateful for this hospitality. We were disappointed due to the quality of service and food. We felt we hardly saw our server and did not get refills/ service as we had hoped and spent a lot of time waiting. It was a Friday night, however we had a later reservation and the restaurant was not as busy by that time... When our meal came out, it was delivered to our table by another employee and when we said "thank you!" feeling excited to try our food, the person did not make eye contact or even acknowledge anyone at the table...? For dinner we were recommended the ribs and were extremely disappointed. They were so dry and tough and did not end up getting eaten. The chicken was phenomenal but felt that the rest of the sides were subpar. At a minimum of $50 a person, we expected excellent service and food...

I might be able to rate this a little higher but we have been coming here since they opened! I know…read morethings change over time, but a lot of the appetizers weren't as good as they used to be or the same. The fried chicken and dinner sides were good and we got plenty to eat. Didn't care for the dessert, I've had better ice cream sandwiches from a gas station. I wish they would look at the old menu and recipes a little more. The service was interesting they were there checking on us quite a bit but not our waitress, she disappeared for most of the meal. If things have to change I think it should be better food, not making it cheaper for profits. I definitely still love going to the old restaurant, brings back the old style family dining and heritage of the area. We will be back and do recommend it, just hope they keep things as authentic as they can!!
