Overall the food and service was great, friendly and attentive staff, specifically our server Sarai she was amazing she constantly checked up on to make sure we were good. The ambience is really nice vibe to eat and watch tv with family and friends. The reason why a 4 star is because of the heat inside, not only my party and I were hot but the staff looked like they were hot aswell. It felt stuffy inside I don't know if the ac is not working but it felt really hot. We got sat next to a plug in fan that is an unprofessional look for the restaurant but was the only thing keeping airflow in there. In the summer weathers like today at 95°, the owner should have the AC working and strong. The employees looked really hot like they were sweating, I can't imagine the kitchen workers dealing with all the heat I hope they have better AC. This is out of the workers control I think just the owner should have some strong AC running in there and lookout not only for the customers but their employees. Been here once before, probably two years ago, everything was fine. Today, the experience felt off. Me and my cousin were there about 230 on a Saturday, relatively early in the day, was not crowded... wanted to go before the dinner rush. 1. apparently they were low on those crab leg- breaker sticks and the server kept asking several times when or if we were going to be done with them so another table could use them; made us feel like we had to rush. 2. We were amped to treat ourselves to the king crab legs, when it arrived, it was hardly royal worthy. They were not big legs at all and felt gipped for the $109 market price 3. They dropped off the check but we hadn't put our cards down yet. Server came by several times regarding the check but we weren't ready. She interrupted mid conversation and ended up bringing the credit card machine asking how we were gonna pay. It was really rude, just to turn over another table. 4. Taste-wise, the sauce with our shrimps and crab was on point. But otherwise... They should always have extra crab tools in stock and should let customers enjoy the overall experience with their loved ones until they're ready to go. No one needs to go here, especially dropping the amount of money for this type of food but we did. But we weren't ready to feel rushed and pushed out. We absolutely will not be back :( read more

Do not rely on the positive reviews. This location offers customers an incentive to leave a review before they even receive their food, which makes many of the ratings unreliable. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the hype. The food was bland and noticeably under-seasoned, which is especially disappointing for Cajun seafood where bold flavor is expected. The service was average at best, and the restaurant appeared to be understaffed, resulting in a less attentive dining experience. I've visited other branches of this chain, and they consistently served much better food and provided better overall quality. I haven't been to The Kickin Crab in such a long time, but I'm so happy to say the quality is still AMAZING. Everything tasted just as good as I remembered fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying. The garlic noodles are a MUST. Perfectly seasoned and so addicting with the sauce. And don't even get me started on the Cajun fries... crispy and well-seasoned. My go-to will always be the craw fish with Kicking' Style sauce and rice. It's seriously the best combo. So rich, garlicky, and full of flavor. Definitely the best seafood boil. From the moment I walked in, no one acknowledged us. We were told they couldn't seat us because there was only one server, even though there were plenty of open tables. We ended up waiting about 10 minutes before someone came to call us. After we were seated, a couple of friends joined us. The server then informed us that there would be an 18% service charge on the entire bill. Honestly, I found that pretty ridiculous. I've never experienced that before. I'm not against tipping or paying for good service, but I believe customers should not be force to pay for something like this. What made it even more frustrating was being told that the 18% service charge was before taxes, while still being presented with the option to leave an additional tip. At that point, it felt excessive. I also want to be fair and not put all the blame on the servers. Their attitude wasn't the best, but ultimately, I believe this comes down to whoever is managing or running the restaurant. If these are the policies customers are expected to follow, they should be communicated clearly from the beginning. Our first time here and as the weather's been hot we were hoping for some air conditioning. It had been a little cooler outside so I guess they turn the air conditioner off and open the doors but the restaurant was warm, not uncomfortably so but not air conditioned. First thing is you have to order from a screen. I really dislike those things especially when I don't have the choice of having a menu to look at when I'm seated at my table. To me it is lazy for restaurant to have these. I especially hate them if there's a crowd behind me and I don't have time to leisurely peruse through the menu. Fortunately it was not crowded at all. We placed our order, and I noticed that the bottled soda and the fountain soda were the same price over 350. Plus $2 if you want to refill and you have to decide ahead of time. Same with the tip. We grabbed some of the cheapest flattest paper plates you can get and our plastic forks. When the noodles came to the table it had Plastics Forks in it and the lady said oh it comes with the forks and immediately took our extra Forks off the table and place them back in the basket with the other forks. The noodles were okay a little on the oily side for me but I've had worse. The fish and chips was not good I'm from New England and maybe I have higher standards but the batter was oily and chewy. I prefer my fish and chips nice light and crispy batter. Once our food was served nobody came to our table until it was time for the bill. I went to use the restroom and the walls in the hallway and the walls in the restroom and in particular the light switch were very dirty. The light switch looks like it hadn't been cleaned in months it was pretty gross and I was thinking of the people who are fixing your food using that restroom. The lady who I assume was the owner was very nice but the only time we saw her was to deliver the food. That was our first and last time there. read more

Not satisfied. I usually come here and it's always been a great experience, but this time was completely different. While eating my food, I found a caterpillar in it. I hadn't even finished half my meal when I saw it, and I couldn't continue eating after that. It was honestly disgusting and made me worried there could be more bugs in my food.They did remove my fries and drink from the bill, but I feel like more should have been done. I went with a friend and I ordered A pound of headless shrimp, spicy, and the kickin sauce. I also got a side of white rice. The spice was not too much and it had just the right amount of kick to it. My shrimp was cooked to perfection and the sauce was so tasty. I love how much of the sauce they give you with your bag too! The service was a 4/5. I did go on a Friday night and the place was packed! When we checked in, we were told the wait was about two hours. I understand because it was busy, but I was confused because half the tables were not occupied so I'm not sure why they weren't taken in more customers. Aside from that, my server was fast and I almost felt rushed to order since they sat us down close to closing time. But, not in a rude way, more as a "I'm trying to get you guys your food quicker type of way". Despite it being busy, they were checking on us frequently up until they started to do their closing tasks. That's when we had to go and look for a server to ask for refills since they were busy with cleaning. The restaurant was at a good noise. For a Friday night, it wasn't too loud or too quiet. Pretty disappointed with this place. I bought a pound of shrimp and pound of crab with potatoes, sausages and all that.
