Oh. My goodness. The food was so good I made a concentrated effort to make sure I let as many…read morepeople know as I can! I got it delivered while working long hours over the weekend and hadn't heard of it before - to my detriment, because WOW. My order: Biscuits with duckfat gravy and an overhard egg Extra biscuit with their house jam Seasonal lemon berry griddle cake Jalapeño rosemary fries I'll start with the last thing. I LOVE rosemary, and like the taste of jalapeño but jalapeños themselves don't agree with me. So they arrived without jalapeños as requested, and were very good. There wasn't much rosemary flavor, which was kind of a bummer, but I would get these again in a heartbeat. Well-cooked, not too soft but not too crispy, nice and fluffy inside. I love a good spiral-cut potato and these didn't disappoint in that regard. The lemon berry griddle cake was phenomenal. They're pretty big, so a single will do most people (I had quite a bit left over). The whipped lemon curd was AMAZING, and the berry compote drizzle was probably the best I've ever had from anywhere - which is saying something. I didn't get the berries themselves as berries don't tend to hold up well during deliveries, but I got some of the blackberries I grow in my own garden and slapped them on there. GOODNESS gracious. 1000/10. Now for the highlight, in my opinion - the biscuits and gravy. I have long thought that one can tell the skill of a chef and the quality of a restaurant by its most "basic" items, and if you were judging solely by the biscuits and gravy, you'd be doing the same thing I am and telling EVERYONE about it. The biscuits were dense and flavorful, not in any way dried out, very filling, and the light toasting done to the inside of each half was such a quality touch. The gravy is TO DIE FOR. Just the right amount of kick, and a little went a long way. I had more than enough with my order to save some for another day! MAN it's gonna be difficult not to order from here every day... This type of restaurant is exactly the kind of thing Belleville needs to hold onto. It's high quality food, with a high quality staff and a commitment to community and sustainability our town desperately needs more of. Not only that, but it's reasonably priced; normally you'd see places like this charging 60% more minimum for the food and it's almost never as good as this. I am SO intensely impressed. Very, very well done, Clara B's crew!

I really enjoy the food at Clara B's! I found it first when I used Door Dash once and I loved the…read morebrisket breakfast burrito that I ordered. A mix of chunks of lean and marbled brisket. The order was packaged with care and I decided I'd have to eat in person if it was so good via delivery. Clara B's is housed inside of LongStory coffee just outside downtown Belleville. I've been there for coffee a few times and like the atmosphere there. I've now been to have breakfast a few times. If you go there on a weekend, there is a line to order food by 9am and the tables fill up but food comes out in a reasonable timeframe and people clear out as more come in. You pick up a menu and wait in line and order at the register. Not much wait time. Employees are nice. The smaller menu is full of hearty comforts. I love that their choices for breakfast proteins include a fried chicken breast and brisket. Their bacon is thick and delicious, the kind that melts in your mouth. The biscuits are the southern homemade style that are thick and crumbly, not sweet. I've saved one once to make a perfect strawberry shortcake for two. The duck fat gravy is good, a little watery, but it absorbs well into the biscuits. The breakfast potato fries look amazing and one day I'll try the pancakes. I'm low carbing it right now and I like that I can go in and order eggs and a protein and grab an iced coffee and read. I highly recommend for anyone to stop in for a lovely breakfast/brunch and support this local gem.

I went to food truck Friday today and tried this food truck for the first time. I ordered the…read morehangover burger and since it already has fries on it there was no need for me to order a side. This 7 oz burger patty is blended with bacon, pork, beef, and chorizo. Then they add a runny egg, fries, sriracha aioli, and pepper Jack cheese. This is the best messy burger I have had in a long time. The staff was nice and it did not take them long at all to make my burger fresh. There is no frozen patty over here at this food truck.

This was the most disappointing food experience in a long time for me. These guys are NOT ready for the lunch rush at 9 Mile Garden. After waiting about 20 minutes in line, I finally ordered an Original Cheeseburger with ONLY Bacon and Cheese + Seasoned Fries. Their were a lot of people standing around complaining about the wait time, so I was a bit concerned, but figured I'd give it a try anyway. Somehow a lady that was behind me in line, got her food before 6 or 7 people that were in FRONT of me. This truck is mainly burgers and fries, pretty simple, so I don't know what's up with that, but it made several people angry. After about a 30 minute wait, they finally called my number, and I took my food home and eat, hoping after all that wait, at least the food would be good. NOPE! Order was wrong, burger had everything on it. Fries were completely soggy. Burger overcooked, dry. Ended up throwing a little of the burger and most of the fries away. On top of that, it was almost $14!!! I don't get it. If these guys can make it in this business, then I guess anyone can... I can get a better burger almost anywhere else, at about half the price.
