I've never posted a review in my life but this place treated me so wonderfully that I had to go out of my way and make a positive review. This is THE best nail salon I've ever been to!!!! They make you feel so welcomed as soon as you walk through the door. Everyone is extremely nice and they treat me like a queen every time I go in. I always go to Jenny because she does such an amazing job on my nails and she's also very nice to talk to :) They do a great job on their pedicures as well with the hot stones, leg massage and foot massage. This is possibly the worst experience I could have possibly had. I decided to give them one more try after the last time I went to get a manicure... to sum up last time I waited an hour and a half and the technician didn't even do the design I wanted properly. I made an appointment this time to be sure I wouldn't wait and when I arrived I was told they didn't have my appointment in at the right time although I had a SCREENSHOT of the confirmation. I have been looking for a new nail salon for a couple of months now. I came across this one by chance. I've always done acrylics but they do here is dipping. I can honestly say I've never done this set. But my nail technician assured me it's better for your nails and it would look just as nice. They do have a huge variety of dipping colors to choose from. This place is really nice and its employees are very friendly. They were running a little late but They were very apologetic and I understood It happens. I've gone to many salons and hadn't found one that can do great nail work but I'm very satisfied with this salon. The lady that did my nails was Judy. Very nice and friendly. It was my first time going there and I went in on a Friday afternoon right after work. The place was packed! Good signs of course...I had an appointment but had to wait an hour or so, which was pretty bad. But from the time they called me to sit and to the time my nail girl finished, it was such a great job! I had dip powder done with tips. Came in yesterday evening to get a mani and pedi done. I rarely ever do my nails at nail spa so doing the dip powder was all new to me. I was greeted by the manager Tommy and quickly placed in the hands of Danay to start my pedicure. I chose to do the platinum pedicure package with the cucumber scent. This included cucumber scented salts in my water, a mud mask, lotion, and a scrub. Since it was late in the evening when I came in they had another person do my manicure at the same time. I haven't been to a nail salon in a very lonnng time but I will say the service last night was exceptional. They also included complimentary refreshment while getting your service done and I well enjoyed the massage chair. I would sure be recommending this location to others and would coming back to do my nails again. I would also like to mention that Van did my nails and he did an great job. I found this place when I first moved to Miami and lived in the area almost two years ago. And I loved it from the environment, to the selection of colors, and the staff. I loved it so much that when I moved to downtown Miami a year ago I would still come and do the long commute. However these past several times I've gone I've noticed a decline in service. They tell you to make an appointment online but when you come in you're considered a walk in. I don't get why they have that option online, it should really be only slots that are available so nobody's time is wasted. I just walked out from my scheduled appointment online because the lady told me I could be waiting up to two hours from the time that I scheduled for online and I went online to schedule it so it would be at a time convenient for me. If that was the case I should have just walked in whenever time I felt like it and expected to wait. I also realized with this recently that the nail techs work are really rushed and it shows in their work. Last time I went my nails broke within like 3 days of getting them done and I had to go back to get them fixed and they wanted me to make an appointment or come back another time just to do that. I really tried giving this place another chance of redemption, it's a shame I might have to find a new nail place. I would only recommend to go if you live in the area so it's convenient and going when you have TIME to wait. read more

A lady Maria soaked my nails for 45 min and when soneone was going to help me she said not to to leave me soaking while they helped other people i have nothing on my nails ive been here an hour. These people are something else. I tried to do walk in last Saturday because they advertise walk ins. However, they said they couldn't take me because they were extremely booked. So I made an appointment for the earliest day they had available. I left work early for a 6:45pm appointment. I walked in at 6:50. They told me at 7pm that my nail lady whom I had an appointment with had another 25 minutes to finish the girl before me. The excuse was they were short staff and take walk ins also. Again, on Saturday they told me no bc they were short staff. R u kidding me? I understand being 5 maybe even 15 minutes behind schedule. But now you are talking about 45 minutes late. Then the front desk girl sits down with the customer before me and my nail lady to talk shit because I voiced my opinion. I'm sorry you don't know how to manage a business while your boss is out. Get it together lady. It's not that difficult. 25 minutes came and went and still didn't get attended. If I can rate this place with A HUGE ZERO I WOULD! Worst place. Had me waiting for an hour and I still didn't get attended. I couldn't wait more than an hour. I made it late to my next appointment and GRACE wasted my time completely! The worst customer service I have ever seen. So unprofessional. I hope this business closes down. Businesses that don't respect others people's time are the worst. I was on the phone with a client and remember specifically looking at my phone because I have to charge my client per phone call. And second I didn't curse until the very end when I walked away so you have no idea what u r talking about. I never cursed at the young lady as much as I thought how incompetent she was. I was extremely patient after an hour and then the worst thing i said was you wasted my time tonight for no reason. But I never cursed at her. U were late to your appointment which caused her not to attend me. And then because you were in the wrong you and her sat there to talk about me. No one cursed at the beginning I was extremely understanding. I am not an unprofessional person. I had to almost cancel on a client because of her. So please don't lie. Just because someone says I am sorry that is not enough. I took off work early I drove all the way from coral gables in traffic because she told me that was the only time available to then not be attended. I even heard the nail lady Lorena say in Spanish that she was going to sleep there that night. An appointment is an appointment and it should be honored. I sat in traffic over an hour and she did nothing to honor my appointment after her herself told me that although they take walk ins I should make an appointment which I did. I think what happened was she was helping u out which is why I didn't get attended. Impossible that I came 20 Minutes late when at 7:01 she said the lady would be done in 25 minutes that was the second time I approached her. So please don't lie. Have a seat and stay in your place. Update on 3/29 - found a much better salon called lavish nail bar. It's in Miramar. They do the dipping nails and the staff is amazing. I mean amazing. The receptionist is smart and nice. Not unprofessional at all. The technician Sharlene was super nice and good. She was lovely. Great place. To Liz r. Who just insulted me on yelp. You can disrespect me all you want. By the truth of my experience is the truth. The person that was sitting there insulted me and the young lady that was in the front handled the situation extremely incompetently. My review is the honest truth. It's the facts of what happened. I am upset because nothing was done to remedy the situation. She allowed her friend to go in as a walk in and take over my appointment. I had to almost cancel with my own client. And by just reading the language you just sent to me I can tell you're on the same boat as her. This is what yelp is meant for to let other customers know your experience. If your experience was so great than good for you. But the front desk girl knows exactly what she did and how she treated my situation. I called to make an appointment and was very fortunate to speak with the owner. I originally was going to do just another refill on my acrylic nails but he mentioned to me they no longer work with acrylic and only do dipping nails since it's fragrance free and much healthier for your nails. I'm so happy He removed the acrylic and did the dipping nails. My hubby and I did the volcano pedicure and it was an amazing experience. Very relaxing and the ladies did a wonderful job. His wife was there and I assume she did not want to work anymore that day (it was a late appointment) because when Tommy called for her she said something in their language.Tommy told me that I could wait for him to finish with the customer, that he had just started on, or I can come back tomorrow.
