i walk in to get a full set , everyone was nice , my nail tech/ he . seemed maybe annoyed and was rushing. I did not go in close to closing time, to be rushing a full french tip set . on the photos the first nail has small holes that could have been easily filled and sides of nails are very unfinished, I mean really ?. I expected the price to be high due to design and length but for the nails to look unfinished ?!. no thanks I'll stick to my regular place for same price , better look :)! read more

I went in for a pedicure, went well, the man was nice and did a great job! Their gel is an extra $20 though, fyi. The only con was hearing other employee talk bad of their coworkers. Someone refused to do another job, without conflict, and a coworker said "my opinion of him, i'd slash his tires" which maybe I won't be back, because I don't want that happening to me, if they speak about each other like that. read more

My husband and I went together to get a pedicure. We enjoyed the friendly and welcoming staff. It is a clean establishment and the service we were provided was very professional and detailed quality. We will definitely be returning! The only thing I'd recommend changing is the music to be a more spa like sound instead of rap. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I came here the first time and the lady that did my eyebrows was SO sweet and she waxed my brows SO well that I cried (I've been emotional as of late.) So when my friend Christina flew into town from California, she wanted recommendations for a nail salon so that she, her cousin, her son and I could get pedicures. Fear not, I told them. I had the PERFECT place. SO I thought. Let me tell you what happened when I walked in: they ran the pedicure spa water for Christina, her cousin and her son and left me there looking like a fool for 32 mins straight, purposely trying NOT to make eye contact with me or help me (including the lady who once did my eyebrows), till the owner FINALLY decided to get up from his station to run my water after having sat in the chair for OVER half an hour looking silly. And ***I*** was the one who made the reservations for us. Never again. It was rude, dismissive and not funny. I'm not going to say racist but I am curious as to who deserves immediate service in their eyes and who doesn't. Absolutely avoid this place at all costs! They will have you sitting there for at least an hour when initially telling you it will be 10 to 15 minutes. When you question the blonde lady she said, "Girl, I didn't even talk to you!" I said, "Excuse me, I asked you specifically when I came in how long it would be and you said about 10 to 15 minutes." She actually continued to argue with me that nobody spoke with me when I walked in. Wow! This is the place to go if you want to wait for an hour or more while being ignored then argued with. Plenty of other salons that do way better nails I've used before in the San Marcos area so definitely go to those instead. Pathetic! read more

The salon itself is nice and my technician was friendly, but unfortunately, the quality of the service did not meet my expectations. The pedicure massage was more of an afterthought -- it lasted about two minutes, wasn't timed, and felt rushed. The rest of the pedicure also seemed incomplete. They advertise complimentary drinks, but there was nothing available except water, which was disappointing. A few things I'd suggest for improvement: * Time the foot massage properly and don't rush through it. * Make sure clients receive the nail color they select. * Only offer complimentary items that are actually available. * Take the time to do the service well -- when I'm paying for a treatment and tipping, I expect attention to detail. Came here for the first time and left not very happy. I was getting simple white birthday nails done and they look chunky, there's white nail polish around the edges and there's dip powder under my nail. I will now have to go home and file my own nails down. In addition, I came in asking for a full set and got a fill and walked out spending $75 for poor service and a fill. That's the typical price for a full set anywhere else in San Marcos. My nail tech was weird and was making inappropriate jokes with her coworkers while I was getting my nails done. When I asked for the length of my nails to be slightly shorter she gave me a look and didn't respond to me before gesturing for my hand again. This place took place of the nail salon of 'Alpha Nails Spa' . It's nicer and decor is more modern but prices seem to be more expensive for this outlet location in San Marcus. It's owned by Asians of course. My girlfriend and her daughter liked this place. We reserved a mani/pedi for all three of us together at two pm but we waited almost an hour! Kinda ridiculous! They could have offered a free drink as advertised while our feet were soaking. Actually, the pedi water was very cold by the time we got served. I did love the massage chais and I redid the massager at least ten times! Haha The staff, the ones who did our nails were great and friendly but the place itself was mismanaged or understaffed for a Saturday. They should not have told us that they were available at our time. Good thing we did not have anywhere else to go. If I had an appointment, I would have been pissed. Good thing this place is next to the outlet, you can shop or eat after. There is many massage chairs but not a lot of nail technicians. Lots of options to choose from as well as nail color. Lots of free drinks they can offer, too. I even saw a Hennessy for us to have! The Hispanic guy ( I fOrGoT to ASK!) who did my nails did a great job. Soft hands but firm massage. I got the Pearl Pedicure pkg and regular manicure. I had a flower design for ten dollars. Total was a hundred two plus twenty tip. My guy did a great job though and the lady who did my flower design was good too. I would get him again if I could get his name. Surprised a guy doing the nails here. I came in for a pedicure French tip today and I'm not very satisfied. I wanted a pinkish clear coat for my French tip toes, when I sat down the guy started doing the usual cut and trim which was fine. Usually I'm asked what shade of clear coat I want ( clear or a pinker tone) before they do the white tips. He showed me an inspo pic and I assumed it was for the shape of the nails. He continues doing the white and before he put on the clear coat I asked him is there a pink clear coat. No response, I asked again and he gave me a head nod. Another woman came over and asked if I liked my toes. I explained that I wanted to see what the pink clear coat looked like. The man stopped and acted shocked and I explained to her I did ask him beforehand . She explained the white was already done so they couldn't show me what a different coat what look like. It was an okay service, I wasn't offered a beverage when other woman around me were but that's okay. My toes look okay but not what I wanted. read more

She made sure under my nail was filed as well which I really appreciate bc I hate when there's bumps underneath the acrylic too. She gave her opinion on what she thought would elevate my nails and respected my opinion in the process as well. She loves conversation and is very nice! read more
