    Slaughter House Brisket $14.75

Give 3 stars mainly because over price and charge 4 percent for credit card purchases. Otherwise the sandwich was 5 stars.

    Inside

Its pretty good for Maryland BBQ. Their sides are all pretty good. Service is fast. Food is served hot and fresh. Its very clean, quiet and cool environment. Prices are decent. Staff is nice.

Cold bland meat rolls. They have all these meats fresh, suggestion, put a few slices of each fresh on the salad.

How's this place still in business ? Made the mistake of giving them a 2nd chance. Got the thighs and fries. I didn't know they sold pigeon thighs ‍. Never saw such small thighs in my life. Smaller than my thumb. Reheated. Dry and I hit the Chesapeake and they literally had no seasoning or flavor. Ask the clown working the counter to substitute my blue cheese dressing for Cesar. That can't be done there. Ridiculous. Dressing is dressing. Never is a long time and I'll never be back in this place. Ordered the chefs salad. Thinking that all the meats are held warm and they would slice to order. That's how the donut in ocean city at bull on the beach. It's what I was thinking. Instead it was cold rolled meat and cheese. If you unwrapped and weighed meat, be hard pressed to come up with a few ounces. Anyway my fault for not asking how it's served. I honestly couldn't taste the meat because there was more cheese flavor than meat flavor. Cold and bland.

$13.50, really , for a little 4oz. Portion of pit beef on a roll. Pathetic. These guys need to check out Mission BBQ to see how to do a sandwich. My wife said the chicken and dumplings would have been better if it was hot. Doubt we will go back and we are locals.

This was a very bad experience! Upon entering the establishment everything seemed fine. I order a pound of brisket and French fries. The brisket was pale looking, did not have a smoke ring, and had no flavor. The meat was wet but not from rendered fat; my guess is it was sprayed with liquid smoke. An attempt to disguise it was baked in an oven. Also did have have any bark. The absolute worst brisket I have ever tasted!

The restaurant has cute cow photo opps outside. You can order online and pick up. I hope businesses like this can keep going.

Explaining rare beef vs well done brisket

Howdy! Why 5 stars on a restaurant that's trending just above 3 on Yelp? Because they deserve it based on my recent experience. I'm from Texas, so what do I know about BBQ? Well, I do know what I see and what I taste! I saw some really big BBQ sandwiches and a turkey sandwich with fries. The meat was true to their motto, that you don't need teeth to chew their meat. It was all very tender. I asked for jalapeños & a little slaw on mine. It could have had a little more sauce, but we were eating in the car, so no drips are good for us. The fries were very similar to Thrasher fries without the Old Bay and vinegar. One crazy thing that happened for the food was my score on a 2 lb. Platter of smoked meat that was beautifully pink and lightly smoked. I say score, since it was the day before the Superbowl and we were on a strict time schedule just passing through, and someone there to pick up had confused brisket with beef and they had his platter of beef made. I said I'll take it and we were on time and on our way. Nice people and nice atmosphere in there. Check out my photos, and try it, you'll like it.

    #2 Pit Beef Sandwich Combo

Very disappointed. Got a simple 4 oz pit beef sandwich ($11) homemade house chips ($2) and a soda. Holy over priced! $16 for these things. The beef was DRY and Chewy. Pretty sure that's not how it's suppose to come. The issue is with bbq you need fresh daily. This place has to much on menu and reuses beef when they don't sell it all. Also they charge .25 cents for a to go sauce. COME ON MAN. Not worth the stop.

It's a small place with an eat-in area and a bar - the craft cocktails were really good - I ordered a grapefruit crush and to my surprise an employee was sent off to get a grapefruit STAT - I really appreciated this bc they just as easily could have said they didn't have it. My sister asked for a MaiTai - the bartender said he was missing one ingredient but it was good and packed a PUNCH. We both ordered the Aloha Burger. I had mine with tots, my sister had onion rings. We also had the candied bacon appetizer. It was a little soft when served but given a little time to cool it crisped up and was tastier. The crispy brussels sprouts were also good, they needed a little salt and additional sauce offered would have taken it up a bit. It would make a nice date night spot, definitely more casual. The outdoor patio would be cool too, in less humid weather. We didn't see much of our server after the food arrived, but I kind of get it - it's not like you're at a Michelin star fine dining place. I also note that seating is limited so you may find yourself waiting or doing a take out order instead. Service was friendly, dining area was clean. I thought the price was a little steep for what we ordered but we did sit and eat and the food was good.

My friend ordered the lasagna and salad, which they'd had before and enjoyed. I was torn between the shrimp scampi and the 7 Fishes, which both sounded wonderful. I ordered the shrimp scampi, which came with asparagus "tips" and "fresh" tomatoes. The server asked if I would prefer angel hair to the spaghetti it comes with. I thought angel hair was a given for scampi, but I said yes, angel hair please. When the server brought our food and put my plate down in front of me, I can only describe the feeling as disappointment. It was a pile of mush with a few shrimp on top. It was spaghetti, not angel hair, and it had been cooked to death and was water logged. Same with asparagus and tomatoes, which were also cooked to death to the point where they were unrecognizable and tasteless. There was not one asparagus tip; rather, it was tiny chopped bits of mushy stalk. I couldn't tell if the red mush was tomato or red pepper. The shrimp were seasoned well and tasted good, but they were also a bit overcooked. Everything else was tasteless. Once the server brought our food, she didn't come back until we were done. She then noticed all my spaghetti noodles and asked why I didn't say something about it not being angel hair. I was like, because you didn't come back! I ate the shrimp out of it and took the pasta home with me. I put it in a skillet on the stove top and added herbs and spices and was able to evaporate some of the water out of the noodles. What I made out of it was fantastic. I would go again if someone else wanted to go there, but I think the key is to order something that's hard to screw up, like pizza, lasagna, etc. I make better food at home.

So it just started out riding through the small areas of the Eastern Shore and a gas run. He asked me if I wanted to go get a coffee....I said no, let's find a pub or brewery. I consulted with my phone like all of us do these days and found 4 Dogs. Waze kind of messed us up, but it actually worked out because in our being turned around for a few minutes, we found another place that we will be returning to before the summer season starts to try out and I will review on that at some point. We pulled up to this very pleasant looking building with some dogs painted on it. We walked in and it was just this nice place with pool tables, some tables to sit at and of course a bar. We selected to sit at the bar. We were served by Chris who was just fantastic and makes a great orange crush. The vibe is just so nice in the pub, just the way I like it. You can hear yourself think, you can talk to your partner without screaming, yet there is music playing and laughter....it's just a nice friendly place. We ordered a Hot Honey Old Bay order of wings as we were going back to our campsite to have dinner. Would for sure order these again. They were meaty, and the sauce was sticking to the wing, not laying all over the basket. Very impressed with the taste. We thought the drinks were a great price, but then living in the Baltimore area, we get hammered on price here when we go out, which is why more often than not, hubby makes our drinks at home these days.....but this is a nice little place in the town of Easton which looks like it has a bunch of hidden little gems and we are going to take another trip down soon! Really enjoyed our time at this pub!

Then I said that I wanted a refund and he said that he couldn't do it. He then proceeded to ask me if I thought that this was right because he was loosing money for this, and I said yes because I had been in customer service for years, and a manager. I also reminded him that he should have better customer service. He then proceeded to tell me that he would pay for the fries. I told him OK that's your choice. Then he told me that he could not serve me food any longer. I told him that was fine and he continued to argue with me. He finally gave up, snatched my box, and walked into the kitchen. He told me again that he would not serve me food anymore in a very nasty way. I told him that that was fine, but I'm going to give him a very bad review. He looked at me and said,"oh you're that type?" I told him that he was very rude and his customer service was bad. He then told me to go ahead and do that. Then I told him that if I post this, then he will definitely lose money. He then walked away and ran into the kitchen and spoke something in Spanish to his coworkers. The food sucked in the first place. I've ordered from them before and things were good. But obviously, I will never go there again! By the way, dude, yo Hablo Español. So I know what he said in the kitchen. He's lucky that I remain polite, but assertive. I could have spoken to him in Spanish, but it wouldn't have been very nice. But I'm not gonna stoop to his level. So please boycott Easton pizzeria. No one should have to argue for 20 minutes with a person just to get their order right!
