Since I have been a customer for several years, she explained to me the items on the sale rack and the new clothes that came in. We walked throughout the store and she showed the new items. I found a beautiful sweater and a blouse on the sale rack. I tried on both items so Angela could see. She is always honest and gave her approval that they both fit and gave her suggestions on how to accessorize. I bought both items. The prices are excellent! Was waiting in line for what felt like forever, meanwhile the staff doesn't seem to care at all. Everyone working here moves at snails pace. It was a busy Friday afternoon & they had 3 ppl on the registers just wasting everyone's time. This lady came in trying to return 10-15 items that she bought online. Instead of having staff help the 8 people waiting in line to check out they would rather have 2 out of the 3 people working behind registers help the lady with her returns, all 2-3 people were literally helping the one lady with the returns. I previously consigned with a larger, national brand in the city and had multiple bad experiences, the culmination of which was them literally stealing a bag from me. That would NEVER happen here. Kelsey's combines high powered expertise and reach with small business personal touch. Items I drop off are meticulously tracked, and receipts/pricing is sent for my approval usually within minutes of me leaving. I've sold many designer bags, shoes and pieces of clothing with them and have never had issues with their pricing or payouts. I'm very knowledgeable of the market myself and we always see eye to eye on pricing. You can collect your balance at the beginning of each month and they'll have a check ready and waiting for you. Despite absolutely having the knowledge and ability to resell my pieces myself, I choose to work with them because it's such a great experience from beginning to end. Their payouts are at a higher percentage than what I have seen elsewhere, but even if they weren't - I'd still choose to consign with them.
