We were only checked on at the beginning for drinks, when they brought out our food, and then we ended up waiting a bit to get the check. We would've ordered more mimosas, but I think they may have been slightly understaffed. There are definitely better brunch options in Wilmington, but this place had no wait on a busy weekend and I was happy with the food. I ended up getting a second pancake because I thought my order came with two, but it worked out since my first one crappy. The 2nd pancake was nice and golden! With the plastic plates.. they gave me a plate with sections for my pancake... that's not very conducive to cutting and eating a pancake. This restaurant definitely gives me diner vibes. Any who. What great breakfast. I'm from the South and have had my share of grits but what they do here with grits is freaking incredibly delicious. I literally don't have the words to describe how great they are to eat. Just trust me. Get the grits. The eggs were expertly cooked and liver pudding was perfectly spicy and meaty.
