I've only been to this place twice, but the food is delicious. On my first visit, I went to pick up my order and was immediately greeted by a friendly girl. She made the ordering process so enjoyable, even though I was a bit confused about the menu. My price was also amazing. When I picked up my food, she provided excellent customer service and even gave me a compliment, which made me want to return. On my second visit, I ordered through the website and got points for my purchase. I'm also getting food delivered. I've only tried the pizza, chicken and fries so far, but they were delicious. My husband and I were visiting Delaware and staying at a nearby hotel where I ordered a small and a large cheese steak for delivery. Once the food arrived we sat to eat and mine had cooked onions throughout the sandwich (which I intensely dislike), instead of raw onions. I called the restaurant and explained to them what happened, thinking they really wouldn't care that much and I hesitantly asked for a refund for my steak (my husband thoroughly enjoyed every morsel of his steak with everything hot and sweet on it). Well, the girl on the phone was the absolute sweetest and said that they'd make me a new one and deliver it again. She said, "I don't want you going without and being hungry!" About 20 minutes later, a hot, and very yummy cheese steak arrived with my raw onions! I can't tell you how impressed I am with HOTSPOT at 1127 Churchmans Place (302-368-1717) and I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Found hair in two of the orders. We placed a group order, and order here often , since i work at the hospital. It was a group order of about 9 people, and two people had food in theirs, a stromboli and cheesteak. I was highly dissapointed at how this was handled. There were about 4-5 customers inside waiting to order /for order, but when I walked in the counter guy saw me and immediately yelled at me that they were closed. Yikes, man. Do you know the saying, "there is no such thing as a bad free meal?" Well, this place is the exception. My work orders pizza from here often since it is cheap and price is low. I am at the point where i won't eat it anymore because it is so terrible - this is pretty much agreed upon by the majority of the people in my office. Ordered a 16 oz large pepperoni pizza here since they have a large cheese for 6.99 on Monday and Tuesdays. Afraid due to the reviews and once I had some slices about a year ago that were dry. We ordered hot spot pizza about a week ago after a long night at the vet with our new rescue. We got a turkey salad which was about 8 dollars and a small pizza, which was around 5. The salad came in a side salad sized box and many ingrediants listed on the website and menu were missing. It was mostly sad lettuce and some turkey. It was so small and even though the turkey was real turkey, you can find a better value at any other pizza place. The pizza itself was inedible and ended up in the garbage. If you have wonder bread, ketchup and a kraft single, you have a better pizza. My husband had wanted to try a cheesesteak or burger but since we didnt order those, I told him I would give them another shot. Today, we decided to give them another shot and since I felt ripped off the last time, we tried a cheesesteak and burger from the value section and we also ordered an app. The burger came with jalapenos and bbq sauce but I altered it online to ketchup and lettuce. We paid extra to upgrade our fries. Imagine my surprise when I get a call telling me the manager is "angry" about the changes to a burger and in the future would not make more than one change to a menu item.
