I thought I would try on a few of the promising items I saw on their website, but they were not to be found at this store. The web site offers tees and polos of different fits and fabrics, but the in-store displays only had a table of various tees with no identification, and very few polos (already out of season). Also, there was only one person at the counter, with a line of five people waiting to check out, and sales people were few and far between. I'd rather buy at their online store, and only use this location for fast, free, and easy returns. I also believe Gap is encouraging the move to the website. Today's sale, for example, has a 40% in-store discount with an additional 10% discount if you buy online. Meh to the store experience.

Their shoes and accessories sections also had lots of good products, including some high end brands. I was surprised to see the had Brahmin's handbags in display, never had seen in other stores. The associates in perfume and cosmetics sections were handing out some free samples. Most of the items were on the higher end of pricing as most goods were branded. The store was tidy and clean. Associates were friendly, helping customers with trying out products and doing checkouts.

I visited this store a few weeks ago and had one of the worst customer service experiences I have…read moreever encountered. I asked an employee if she could help me find the dress that was displayed on a mannequin in my size, as I had been unable to locate it on the sales floor. She told me that she needed permission to remove the dress from the mannequin and asked me to wait nearby. After waiting quite a while, I noticed another employee taking the dress off the mannequin while assisting two other customers. I approached her and explained that I had been waiting for that dress and had been told to stay nearby while the first employee got permission. She dismissed my concern, stated that no one had informed her, and proceeded to give the dress to the other customers. A short time later, I found the employee who was supposed to be helping me. She admitted that she had forgotten about me. When I tried to discuss the situation with both employees, they threatened to call security because, according to them, I was "making them uncomfortable." At that point, I left the store. It was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last. I understand that this is a large retailer and that my review may not make a difference, but customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. The employees involved could have handled this situation much more professionally.

But during checkout it became disturbing because the guy behind the counter was downright creepy. I've attached a picture because a description just doesn't cut it. We couldn't understand a thing he was saying he would not speak up he was mumbling and his mask was so thick and large and his hair was hanging down you could not see his face at all. I think the company can do better with Representatives or tell this guy he needs to lighten up on his look at work. What was really an issue was the fact that you could not understand him or see his face. I'm not trying to pick on anybody for how they choose to look but when you're representing a store and you're behind the counter like this with your eyes hiding behind your hair and your face hiding behind a giant mask it's just not a good look.

She must be the most patient person on the planet, given that it was the last hour before they closed, and we had basically covered the entire checkout counter with a mountain of clothing. Shoutout to Eileen! This is my favorite Old Navy to shop at, because it is always clean and easy to find things. Everything is laid out in an orderly way, the store has a logical layout, and the people always have a smile. We were also assisted by another associate as we were leaving, but I did not get her name, she was also very helpful. For fabulous bargains and great service, Old Navy at Independence Center!

They were having a big sale (up to 25% I think) off the entire store, so we were doubly intrigued. The sales lady started dressing rooms for both of us, being attentive but not pushy. The clothing here is for outdoorsy types, or athletic types, but I got a skort, shirt, pants and lingerie for, well, a lot, but I think they are a good investment. The register was a bit hectic, as they asked us for our email address for an 'additional' percent off. I think it worked but I never did get an email from them! I was ok spending a little extra, saving on shipping, though I have probably never ordered from them online. I may stop in next time I'm in the area or order online after a holiday bonus and a huge end of year sale online.

Most of them look as good as the day I purchased them and the ones that don't are my fault because of bleach, splashes or stains that I managed to grind in. Their work clothes are very high-quality and priced accordingly. You can find things on the clearance rack that are great bargains, but most of the items are higher in price, but also value. This is not a place to come if you're looking for a cheap clothes. But if you want a pair of shorts or work pants that will last you a decade, this is the place you will find that kind of quality. I highly recommend their fire hose work pants and shorts. Also, the staff here is incredibly helpful and kind. They will help you find exactly what you're looking for and answer any questions you have.
