Also, the staff is very attentive. Yesterday I was looking for a dairy product and the dairy section is pretty big. I guess I was looking lost - staff member came up to me asking what I was looking for and took me right to the shelf I needed. And it wasn't the first time. Lots of discounts throughout the store. They all work if you have a membership card. Sometimes you can find "double" sales. The store would have a sale and you can use an extra coupon. Make sure to clip the coupon in the app before you go to the register. I usually go to self-checkout. You can run your membership after you scan all the items, but coupons have to be clipped before you do that. Overall a nice and clean store with friendly staff.

Well today I decided to ask about the sale price of the shirt but was showed where it was 40% off. I asked the salesperson about the price. I looked at a few of the items on the rack and all items were on sale at 40% to 60% not 70% off not one single item on the rack. Talked with 2 Managers. One agreed with my respective along with the sales girl. Went to other 70% off sale racks in the store and there wasn't 1 item with 70% off. Again 60 to 40% off. What a racket. Watch out for them. Oh by the way did I say I looked at the rack for several weeks. Same clothes there. Nothing for 70% off.

The new Spring-Summer clothes were in and the selection was very good. Tried on some fun clothes and decided on an Ann Kleine jacket. So cute, fit really well! Then the clerk tried very hard to push a "new" Macy's credit card on me. I hadn't brought my physical Macy's charge card since this visit was impromptu. It made me super-uncomfortable because I refused it but she kept pressing, even telling me that she couldn't locate my account after I (stupidly) gave her my social security number! Just trying to collect an extra commission on signing up a customer for a charge card that wasn't needed. Then, at home, I looked up the Ann Kleine jacket online. It was a much better price! I feel like Macy's store ripped me off!

So many storefronts remain empty or are used for weird purposes, such as a remote library. It seems the days of bustling and crowded malls is more in our past than in our future. Anchored by JC Penney's (dying retailer) and H&M, the Capital Mall does not live up to its name. Even the food court leaves much to be desired. The good news, lots of empty parking spaces!

Is this mall a fun place to hang out. Sorta. It's better than nothing. This place is genius because they are dog friendly and have poopie stations with paper towels in case Fido makes an accident and it is this reason that my sister loves coming here- so that our pups can socialize. There are okay restaurants here, but a very small food court with three restaurants which includes a a Philly Cheesteak place with bomb fries and a Panda Express. For some reason this mall has two Wetzel Pretzels. For me the better restaurants aren't in the food court, but on the outside areas of the mall. There's a fancy burger place near the movie theater which is a little overpriced with pretty good burgers, but nothing memorable. If you ask me, the best restaurants are on the outside of the mall and in the parking lots, including a Chipotle, Menchie's Fro Yo, Red Robin, Olive Garden, Applebees, etc. They also have a small Chuck E. Cheese that is a little sad because there's isn't a lot of space for anything there. There are a lot of Spencer Gifts type businesses at this location I guess to entice the teens. For me the fun is from the massage chairs. I have one at home so I don't know why I use these things, but there's something fun about chilling in public. My favorite business here is the Century movie theater which has reasonable matinee prices and lounge chairs that recline.

Daiso was a must when I lived in Seattle and I love that it's in olympia now. As it was opening day, the store was packed but staff were controlling the flow of people to ensure safety for all. The checkout was semi quick but that was to no fault of the staff. The machine was sooooooo slow as of mid day. Like after every scan we waiting 10-15 seconds before we could scan again. Lol. The poor cashier apologized so much. I was fine. No bother to me when I can shop at one of my fav stores. 10/10. Love this place

I'm not exactly over 5 feet 4 inches so I can't exactly see you with all the stuff in the way so I walked down there and she's like oh is that all I was like well I can get more if you'd like it was one item didn't mean to inconvenience you. I didn't say that then she started to get a little bit more snappy with me and I was like OK wow I mean you guys don't take cash in those self checkouts. I don't have a choice so I got a little snotty back cause I'm not the one to sit there and be snot at cause I'll snoop back. I know it's not exactly the way it should be stood, but I don't care so I'm put my phone number up there. I said I didn't want this one and she's like well. Do you know which one I'm gonna how dare you whoa? I was like I made a mistake. Are we allowed to not make mistakes or just only a few people a minute another lady and her child came up behind me and she was yeah I guess you could come here I was thinking wow that's kind of rude. I mean really wow I wanted to go and talk to the store manager, but I was like why so it makes a difference, probably not maybe I will but hold my breath so then I used my phone as a payment out of my debit card. I thought it was gonna be cash payment. I was like oh I'm sorry I'm just so used to making a card payment. I usually don't ask carry a whole lot of cash you can back out of it and I can make a cash payment and my bad kind of got a little snotty back to her. I mean you know come on for the love of God if you don't like your job quit it go somewhere else do something don't treat me like dirt. I'm tired of these people acting like they own whatever you're gonna just rude Customer Service maybe I should be like half the world and order online so then maybe she won't have a job because I'm ordering online along with the half of America.
