Keep in mind that they do donate them after so many days. I can't remember exactly. It is donated they keep 100% of the profit and it's just donated to their store. Today I mixed up my appointment time. I couldn't get it to pull back up and I came an hour early they would not accommodate me so I had to drive around for an hour which just frustrating because of how gas is pricey then when I did come back for my appointment. I was only in there for three minutes. I brought in over 40 items of clothing and two boxes and they only took about five items. It was very frustrating to say the least. I wish I would have just accommodated me if I knew it was only gonna take them three minutes to go through my clothing when I originally came in. It's also important to note the items I brought in were brand new, never worn items. This is not, including the home decor that I brought in. They do not take home decor it's only clothing. I keep trying to give this place a chance because I love it here due to the customer service However, they are not doing well with sales, and this experience was very unpleasant. It's hard to continue to want to do business with a consignment store when you're only getting seven dollars for 40 items and then when you make an appointment they only take five items in out of over 20 you bring in.

I have purchased many items from Macy's in the past and have been very satisfied. I have had a credit on my Macy's credit account since then. I tried to purchase a couple items for a granddaughter's birthday starting on March 10th. When I check the status, the order has been cancelled. I ordered it again and again it was cancelled. When I called the help line, they said it was because I returned too many items. Now I am not allowed to order from Macy's online. The items are only at Macy's and not available in store. I live 45 miles from the nearest Macy's that doesn't carry most items online anyway. So, I cannot order I cannot use my credit on my account and there is nothing I can do other than stop shopping at Macy's and close my Macy's credit card. Wow! what a great place to shop! So don't pick the wrong size, change your mind or end up with a similar item or you too could be banned from Macy's Online. I have never had a problem with a particular Macy's store they have always been very nice but online is a problem and I have not even returned an item I bought online. So, buyer beware. Amazon it is! This is why these stores struggle.

One of the cashiers kept apologizing for the wait and thanked us for our patience more than once. Not necessarily the worker's fault, some customers just leave items anywhere. The fitting rooms in the back were closed so you only had access to the two little rooms in the front. I was told jacket could be switched out if needed when he picked up as they weren't doing alterations. But I had to have the pants altered. I was thrilled it was so simple and easy. They really push for signing up for a Kohl's card so just be ready to say no lol We've come in for various reasons - their shoes area seemed messy, their women's area didn't have a lot of styles, and their men's area was probably the best area.
