    Crawfish
    Ashley F.

It's your typical Chinese buffet. I am a crawfish lover so that's the main reason I go; to get them in the off season. They have good flavor and are juicy. Can't beat $15 for all you can eat crawfish!

Fried Crabs are just out of this world.

Let's face it when you've been to one Chinese Buffet you've been to then all right! Not so fast, this one has fried Crabs. Yes fried crabs. Lord have mercy those are so good. When I go back I'll probably eat just the fried crabs. There was all the usual favorites you would expect at the Buffet and some not so usual items. Raw Oysters, boiled Crayfish, boiled Shrimp, fried Fish, baked Fish as well as Sushi. Salads galore as well as fresh fruit. But did I mention the fried Crabs. I'm going back and when I do I hope I'm not going to be sorry that I wrote this review because they are sold out. Fried Crabs!

Hot Wok is decent, but not great. The best, most fresh and healthy tasting item there would be the Mongolian grill in the back. The sushi in the back is also okay, nothing wowza. But before you see either of those things, what you notice is six long buffets with chafing tables inside of them and a recessed ceiling all neon-lit and colorful. One of the tables has mostly salad bar type stuff. Another has mostly fruit (ack, please peel the kiwi, right? Is it just me who'd expect the skin to be removed?). There are Chinese meat dishes and green mussels and some sort of octopus something-or-other and the full range of fried American and Chinese foods - egg rolls, shrimp (2 kinds), fish, fries, wontons, chicken nuggets, etc. There's also pizza, macaroni & cheese, noodles, boiled shrimp. And soup - egg drop, hot & sour, maybe another. The hot & sour soup is surprisingly edible. This is such a hard soup to nail, or so it'd seem based on how many terrible bowls of what-should-be-awesomeness I've had, so I give Hot Wok credit for making a hot & sour I actually eat every time I go there. The desserts are okay - more fun for the kids than actually tasty, the exceptions being the pudding and the ice cream. Still, Hot Wok is convenient, and you start eating as soon as you can fix up a plate, so it's a nice place to bring the kids. I'm sure I'll return soon.

This is probably the worst buffet food I've ever tasted. The food was all cold. The hot wok, orange, and fried chicken were hard, not crunchy, but hard and very dry. The lo mein had no flavor. Nothing really had good flavor. Very unappetizing. If you know the taste of your freezer, that is what the chicken tastes like. I guess the string beans were okay.

Looks appealing? Probably not, this is no the best Chinese buffet. Actually I don't think I've ever been to a good one yet....

Hair in my food, food is cold and service is bad and people were really rude. And prices are way to high. Would not recommend.

Also had the seafood boil bag. I picked the Cajun seasoning and spice level hot. It was not thatttt spicy but it was flavored very well. The sauce is so good & if you like fiery crab you will love this place just as much or even more. Got a free drink for leaving a Google review & that was very easy to do because the staff is so friendly & accommodating. I used to come here as a kid but it's been remodeled and more menu items have been added since then. Going to def be here more frequently now.

You select one of 13 items, which is a great, risk-free way for potential customers to try your products. I selected the General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice. I'm partial to shrimp fried rice, but this pork fried rice was fire! It was flavorful, and seasoned with onion and green onion. Each grain was a delight with a hint of sweetness. Perhaps that was the pork. It was made with love, and reminded me of the rice from the former Chinese Tea Garden. The chicken was good, but it didn't match the rice. I would've preferred a crispier breading and thicker coating. Not much to complain about, though, as this was a full meal for free. And for that I'm thankful. As you can imagine with freed food, service was chaotic with too many ignorant and ungrateful people. The staff, however, was patient and pleasant, and the 10/11-year-old host was on top of his game. He gave a warm greeting, explained how to order takeout, and provided a farewell. He's been trained. Not much has changed from the Baby Cajun Joint interior, which had completed a full restoration of the site several months ago. Looking forward to trying other dishes from their extensive menu of Chinese food, boiled seafood, sushi, and ramen.
