Great hotel for a great value. My little family of 4 stayed here for one night in July and it was a welcomed relief from the 4 previous days we had spent at rustic Tuscany. The AC alone during 95-100 degree days was worth the price. Since there were four of us, we were upgraded to a quad room, which included a queen bed, a pull out sofa and a pack-n-play for my 18 month old. There was a nice little wall in between the bed and the sofa which gave just enough privacy to make it seem as if the kids were in another room. The room was spotless, especially the bathroom. It was also very well stocked. There were crackers and cookies for the kids, plenty of coffee and tea and the mini bar is included in your stay! It included 2 bottles of water, 2 beers, a coke, Fanta and 2 pear juices. Those items alone on the streets of Rome would probably cost you 10-15 euros. An American style buffet breakfast was included with the stay which included a variety of cereals, breads and fresh fruits, deli meats and salmon for cold items, sausage, bacon, potatoes and eggs for hot items. I think the cost is 10 euros for non guests, and I would have happily paid that for such a large selection of items. The location of the hotel is also perfect for sightseeing, with many of the major attractions about a 20-25 minute walk away. There are also plenty of high end stores located along the same street for shopping. read more

All the way around this hotel has been a 5-star experience. I could have stayed in the spa all day. My wife loved the wheelchair accessible accommodations and even thought the bathroom set up was the best she's ever experienced when traveling. But most importantly, it's the staff that go out of the way to make your stay the best it can possibly be. Definitely the only place we will stay when we come back to Rome. This hotel is as close to PERFECT as it gets in Rome. Between the amazing service to the ultra cleanliness of the rooms and an awesome location, you can be assured you are going to have a great experience. It is centrally located so you can access the subway or Roma Termini very quickly. It is also within 10-15 minutes walking to any sites that you are going to want to see. The staff is SO attentive and very sensitive to your needs they really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Lastly the free breakfast in the morning offers a great assortment of food and beverages and once again all the staff are very friendly and waiting for your signal to refill your cappuccino. Bravo! We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on our honeymoon trip and got a regular double room. The bed was a very good size, as was the room itself. The bathroom was large--much larger than I had expected. The breakfast buffet was excellent, as was the free minibar (they did include water, beer, juice, soda, and a bunch of cookies and snacks). Our room faced onto a courtyard, so it was very quiet. The location of this hotel is excellent--we were able to walk everywhere except the Vatican. And Roma Termini station is about a 10 minute walk away. We would definitely stay here again. read more

Very nice hotel. We booked a week, couldn't have been happier with the hotel. The hotel is at an excellent distance for walking to major attractions such as colosseum, pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Roman forum (10-25 minute walks) also the train station Termini. The hotel is also very modern for Europe. We felt very comfortable. Another great thing is the mini fridge stocked daily for free. They are very accommodating about special requests. Such a special place! This hotel was wonderful. From our greeting to our departure we were treated like royalty. The room was immaculate and accommodating -- traveling with our college-aged son it is difficult to find a room for three, but Hotel Artimede gave us a room that looked like it was made just for us. The mini-bar was complimentary and always full. The breakfast buffet was delightful with a wide array of pastries, fruit, cheeses, meats, eggs, and more. The staff were very helpful in arranging transportation from the airport to the hotel. From arrival to departure, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Artemide. The hotel is well kept, clean, and beautiful. The staff was so courteous, polite, friendly, and helpful. After a long day of sight seeing, it was nice to have a fabulous place to rest and relax. The location of the hotel itself is very central and convenient. What impressed us the most is that our room was very quiet. Prior to arrival, I sent an email to your staff requesting a quiet room. I am a light sleeper and was a bit concerned that the street noise would keep me awake. The room we were assigned was perfect! It was so peaceful. No street noise could be heard. Additionally, our bed was so comfortable. If we are fortunate to return to Rome in the future, we will definitely stay at Hotel Artemide again. read more

What's not to love! Ok, my review could be slightly biased as we were upgraded to an amazing penthouse suite from a regular room booking, but this is a great hotel regardless of room type. Our room just happened to be one of the best rooms I've ever stayed in. We had an adjoining library which was super cute and an amazing large deck complete with a hot tub! I visited in December, but we just had to check out the tub and it was super cool with rotating light color changes when it was turned on. Guest services was excellent, and they were able to provide everything we needed, but forgot, including a GHI (those are pretty awesome flatirons!) flatiron, as I forgot mine at home. The room itself was small( yet normal for Italian standards) but very clean, slick and modern. Our bathroom was amazing too. On top of all this, this place has a gorgeous rooftop restaurant and outdoor lounge. We drank inside but noticed they had heat lamps and brought out blankets to those who wanted to enjoy a crisp December Roman night. All in all, I would stay here again in a heartbeat! read more

One of the best boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left every staff member we encountered was so helpful and friendly. Francesco and Ivan checked us in and explained everything. They spoke English exceptionally well and were so accommodating. The hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean. The aroma from the diffuser in the lobby left a beautiful scent that permeated the entrance area. The inclusive breakfast was exceptional and has lots to chose from including vegan pastries for those who are vegan. Coffee of your choice was brought to your table. Tons of juices, teas, as well as water available. Eggs, fruit, meats, cereals, salad, cheeses, vegetables and pastries were among the choices. If we come back to Rome, we will most definitely stay at The Artimede Hotel. Accommodations exceeded expectations. Thank you Hotel Artimede for making our short stay so wonderful. We stayed here for two nights and had booked last minute based on a bad hotel experience on the other side of the city. Wow is all I can say. May cost a little more than most but I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Rome. Rooftop restaurant and patio that they encourage you to explore at check-in with free glasses of porseco. The customer service is incredible, they reviewed my passport on arrival, happened to see it was my birthday, and within a few hours had a free bottle of champagne delivered to the room totally unexpected. We called the rooftop and asked if this was okay to bring up to enjoy on the patio and they had no problem with that at all. Our room and bathroom was huge based on european standards, there are even varying pillow types and notes stating they will accommodate your needs should you need a change in your mattress type. [We thought the bed was great as is!] Free large breakfast, eggs, meats, fruits, cereals, toasts, etc. Free mini bar with sodas, waters, beers, refilled daily. Anytime you may need a cab the doorman got one for you in less than 3mins. Walking distance to Colosseum, cab ride to Vatican city. If I ever come back to Rome, definitely staying here again. read more

Their roof top restaurant is ok, just mediocre, not as great as the reviews. The hotel location is pretty convenient, not too far from anything at all, even close to the metro and the temini. Choosing a hotel in a city that one doesn't know (well) is always a challenge.... Between what we've heard and all the reviews we read, we ended up going to the Artemide Hotel - a few blocks from Piazza de la Republica. Very well situated / we did a lot of things by foot. From the street you don't see the size of this hotel just through the glass entrance door and beautiful decoration (art-decoish) that you discover when inside. Beautiful entrance, marble floors and very tasteful decoration and furniture. The front office staff are very helpful, always there to answer your questions, with a smile, and address your requests. We didn't take time to go to gym or spa but next trip, I'd surely make time for that. We took a junior suite as we were 3 and we enjoyed our 3-night stay very much. Quiet staff in the morning, not noisy in the hallways. Clean room with fixtures and furniture that were in good condition and up to date, tasteful and comfortable! State of the art smart tvs, bathroom was very spacious, marble floors, spacious shower and had all amenities one could seek. Breakfast buffet is extremely varied (cheese, cold cuts, eggs and bacon, omelette, mushrooms and sausage, 6-8 types of fruit juice, breads and pastries...) - you can easily skip lunch! Staff very nice and attentive. Would we go back? Yes, most definitely, as we like these smaller hotels that have a more intimate and tailored feel to them. read more

My stay here was phenomenal from beginning to end. We had high expectations based upon the great reviews and we were not disappointed. The front desk was extremely helpful with navigating Rome and locating last minute items. Housekeeping cleaned our room daily and left chocolate at the bedside. The spa was complimentary during our stay. We enjoyed the roof top restaurant for lunch and dinner both were excellent. The hotel was central to most things. It's a 15 minute walk to Roma Termini which we used three times to travel to Milan, Pisa, and Florence. The Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon were all about a 15-20 minute walk. We walked to the Vatican City, but it's quite a hike. We ubered back to the hotel for about $25. It's worth walking to as you'll pass so much along the way. We enjoyed breakfast most mornings and were delighted to enjoy a variety of pastries , bruschetta, and crepes as well. I would absolutely stay here again! It's highly recommended. read more

Very nice hotel with excellent staff. Breakfast was great. The exercise room has state of the art equipment and is stocked with water and towels. Only problems we had were slightly uncomfortable beds and the WiFi was very unreliable. read more
