This review as all of my reviews takes into consideration price, and what you get the for the price. I had to pay 12,000 points per night for this hotel. It is not worth that. There are stains on the carpet and staples in the floor. Hair in the bathroom. An old microwave and terrible coffee maker. Breakfast is not free and parking is not secured- and they had to have a. Talk with me about not leaving items in my car over night.,,,parking spots were super small. Usual old crappy hotel room with loud ptac unit, old microwave, nasty coffee maker, tiny tv, and room overall is small. Not worth the money at all. Front desk person was kind. Decor is decent buttttt there is not Hyatt food and drink like I am used to. Overall I should have stayed at a basic Hyatt rather that this hotel. Also I would like to add that the elevators in this facility are literally scary. You can feel them hit the wall on either side. It's so bad they have a note to guests that the stairs are an option if they don't feel safe! lol crazy for such an expensive a night property. Coming back here to add- i wanted to sleep bc I don't have my baby. Well I was woken up at 6am by loud elevator and maid carts! Crazy. The walls and windows are so thin I'm on the 4th floor listening to people talk outside now. They put lipstick on a pig. Do not stay here!

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay. I had been to this property many years ago prior to their remodel. I really like the remodel. It is shabby chic and cozy. The front desk attendant, Nidia was fabulous. She embodied hospitality with her friendly demeanor, generous upgrade and helpful suggestions. Loved that their breakfast items were from a local restaurant, Crust and the coffee was from another local coffee shop, Nirvana Soul. Love seeing the support to local businesses!!!

Spent 2 nights at Hotel Avante in Mountain View and definitely enjoyed our getaway from home for the weekend. 10/10 staff they were very sweet, mindful, and attentive. The rooms were very unique and colorful which I appreciate. The cleanliness of the room was amazing! Only reason I did not rate 5 stars was due to some of the property being outdated but other than that we loved our stay

No breakfast, room is kind of small and gloomy, no bathrobe, small closet. Hot tub is tiny too.

I have nothing bad to say about this place. We stayed here 1 night for a concert. It's all updated and I wish I took a pic of the amazing beds. My sister and I slept so great, it's like you sink into a cloud. Fridge and microwave in the room with a mini coffee machine. Staff at check in were great and told us ahead that traffic gets bad for the shows. I will definitely stay here again. Great prices as well

Hotel Avante has a great name, but it is not a chic, botique-style hotel, and while the rooms are OK, the front lobby was being rebuilt during my stay. So the place was a little bit dirty, particularly the elevator floor. I only stayed two nights, and it was rainy and cold during my visit, so I can't comment on the swimming pool, etc. The breakfast was a bit better than the cheapest places around, but definitely not great. And the price was not really good given the remodeling. I would stay here again, I suppose, but there are lots of places in this area, so I would probably check out other places before booking again.

Great value! We booked a one-night stay in the air on the way to San Jose. We knew this location was available and offered free parking and breakfast. We had never stayed here before. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating. It hotel had a boutique feel. I think it has recently been added to the Hyatt brand (don't quote me). Our room was clean and spacious. It overlooked a small pool area - which had a couple tables and a couple loungers. The best part of the stay - the bed. I've never had a bad nights sleep at a Hyatt and this is no exception. Nice firm mattress, good pillow options, comfy bedding. I'd stay here again!!

Got a very good rate so we decided to stay here again this past weekend for two nights. Glad to see the upgrades done in the lobby and especially the room. Our room 420 had nice natural light and even in the night time, it was fairly well lit in the room and bathroom. Bed was really comfy. Gym is under construction and will be moved from 4th fl to 1st fl. For the time being, can use the gym at the Aloft Hotel next door. Just check in with their front desk, sign the waiver and they'll lead the way. Breakfast was very simple if you are not picky. Room AC/ heat can be quite loud if you are a light sleeper. And the floor shakes so we had to tiptoe. The walls are pretty thin too so just be a good neighbor and be gentle shutting the door and keeping the tv in low vol. Friendly staff. Will stay here again if the low rate becomes available again.

Would you expect this from a Hyatt property?

Eventually halfway through the jazz night, we relocated to a couch towards the back where there was less people. But then the people who was sitting close to us followed and sat on the couch next to us too. Lol We both enjoyed a glass of wine, and it was good. I definitely recommend coming here for their jazz night. It seems to be happening every other Friday. Since one of my girl friends couldn't make it last night, we'll be coming again for the next jazz night on March 27th. :) I definitely recommend parking on San Antonio to save the $10 valet parking fee!
