Bluefin tuna tartare and mushroom medley
    Stella Y.

Whatever the occasion is, Hotel Bar is definitely the place to come to! We made a reservation and I think that's what got us the table by the window and it was so worth it because the night view of the strip was amazing and the perfect complement to the ambiance that's inside. Since it was already 10pm, we got a couple of drinks and appetizers and it was so worth it! We got a cucumber watermelon fresca mocktail and a couple other fruity cocktails (unfortunately I forgot the names) but all the drinks were really good and had a good amount of alcohol in the actual cocktails. We paired it with a fried mushroom medley and bluefin tuna tartare with taro chips. Although both dishes were lightly seasoned, the natural flavors really came through and was super fresh. We finished off with with a strawberry panna cotta that came in a gorgeous white chocolate cube and a coconut passionfruit sorbet which was delicious! Overall I would definitely be coming back for the food, drinks and the vibes!

Good for drinks not for eats. Stopped by here for some pre dinner drinks & lite bites. The views at the window seats are amazing. The hostess was super friendly. I ordered a glass of prosecco. You can't go wrong with that! My friend ordered a spicy margarita and it was super sweet. Not the usual spicy margarita. For lite bites I ordered us the beef sliders, which comes with french fries. I don't eat pork and so I opted out of the bacon jam. The fries are really good, crisp and salted. The beef sliders were extremely undercooked. Overall this place is cool to come grab a drink. It's more quiet and intimate than other places. They also give complimentary drink snacks like popcorn.

SkyBar is a swanky lounge on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf Astoria hotel. We stayed at the Waldorf and received food and drink credits at check-in so we decided to use them at SkyBar before going out for the night. SkyBar serves light fare, pre-show meals, and craft cocktails. The bar features floor-to-ceiling windows offering incredible views of the strip. Fortunately for us, we were seated by the window. It felt like we had a front row seat to the strip. Staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the following: Espressol martini $21 Prohibition $31 Duck fat fries $18 Yellowtail sashimi $20 Big eye spicy tuna roll $18 The Espressol martini is their fun twist on the classic, featuring Casa Del Sol tequila blanco, coffee liqueur, espresso, and agave nectar. It was unique and very enjoyable. My husband ordered the prohibition which he also enjoyed. The food was outstanding! The fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The sushi was fresh and high quality. Though the menu is limited, there's nothing simple about it. All offerings are carefully curated and elevated.

(Overall: 93% | A) - Skybar has such a magnificent view of the strip and is definitely a must visit if you're in town. While the drinks are on the pricey side and the service is rather slow, it is the views you're paying for and the luxurious atmosphere definitely makes you enjoy the city from above! (Block 16 on the Rocks: 90% | A) - This fruity concoction is one of the more nicely flavored drinks I've had in the past. The on the rocks version I think helps add a cooling note and certainly enhances the presentation so it is well worth. (Pork Rinds & Trail Mix: 97.5% | A) - A squeeze of lime on those pork rinds went such a long way in the flavor elevation and helping to cut through the grease. The nuts were also well seasoned and very enjoyable to munch on.

The absolute best views of Vegas!!! Delicious cocktails, especially the Pear of Aces which uses a pear purée. Super friendly hostess and bar staff that goes out of the way to make this a superior experience. Hidden gem for sure.

The lounge was beautiful, and service was fantastic! One thing to note is that the regular lounge is closed for renovations, so there is a temporary lounge location open right now (as of 12/30/24). The temporary lounge location did not have outdoor access.

Date of Visit: 11/14/2022 SkyBar is one of my favorite bar in Las Vegas. I personally prefer elegant cocktail lounge with various selections of cocktails, and memorable decoration or with great view. SkyBar is located on 23rd floor of the Waldolf Astoria Las Vegas in City Center. Cocktails selections are based on the history of Las Vegas, including "Where It All Started". " It Begins", "Classic Las Vegas" and "Las Vegas Today". Pear of Aces $23 I got the Pear of Aces this time with Vodka and Muscat Grape Liqueur Pear Purée. Taste is a little bit citrus and sweet. Golden Knight $24 This one is more of a whisky cocktail, with Japanese Whisky, Herbal Liqueur Aperol and Ginger liqueur. They also provide a small snack to pair with cocktails. But the downside is the cocktail menu has not changed much since we first visited in 2018.

Excellent drinks and the desserts are out of this world, or maybe it was because of the drinks LOL I must stop for great views and great drinks

Beautiful location! Overlooks Vegas while sipping on your delicious cocktail. The service here is good, super nice and attentive. The vibes here are great. Must go if you want a chill night!

Came in for some drinks with a few friends. We had reservations at 9:30pm and was seated by the window with the best view. It was full service and our waiter catered to us and got all drinks. We ordered a charcuterie board. It's a beautiful bar and the view amazing. Drinks delicious. Highly recommend.

I stayed at this hotel couples times already. The fornt desk was help full and friendly. Instead of this time just visit the sky bar not staying there. We call ahead to make sure they do let people outside come to the bar and yes they do. Everything smooth until we get there and ask for go upstairs to get in the skybar. We ask the old man standing at the lobby not people at the frontdesk table. At first we thought he was nice, he said the elevator do some security check so it take couple minutes, he will help us get there immediately when he can. We ask him again that is there anything wrong happened up there, he said "honestly somthing wrong with the elevator and there workers check on it so just give him couple minutes". We fine with it, thank you and waiting for him at that moment we still seeing people use all three of that elevator's normally like nothing happened. We've waited for almost 30 minutes keep seeing people going up and down, in and out. That old man just ignored us. Then a man coming hotel and ask the old men for the skybar. That old men said "yes, let me take you up there" immediately. What the point here? I decided to go to the front desk table ask the lady can I go to the bar but Im not staying here. She said of course and help me how to get there right away. Is this RACIST? Either we staying or not, we are still customers though. Additionally, we all dress formal, ask nice, and follow all the rules. Give me the answer for it. I will tag my pic that I had stayed here before, I love it until today. Big question!

Pros: amazing views all around, great ambiance. We only stayed for a one drink, but it was strong enough to keep us going the entire night. Honestly, much better to pay $28 for an amazing old fashioned than $25 for a surgery frozen drink. Try this place out. Cons: service was okay, they took a while to serve us and we had to look up the menu online ourself, they didn't give us the QR scan code or a paper menu for at least 10 minutes, so we just looked it up online. They did offer the paper menu or code to all other patrons at the bar that showed up after us, and it wasn't even a busy night. Would return for the view and good drinks, service needs to improve.

Hello, we are visiting Vegas in December (19th-21st) - would we require a reservation to enter your bar?

I didn't need a reservation but people with reservations get the best seats/best view so I would make a reservation!

Are kids allowed to join for dinner?

They don't have dinner, just bites, which are really good. I don't think kids are allowed, since I've never seen one in there.

Do you guys still carry single malts? I cant find menu anywhere....

Is there a # drink minimum required or can I stop by before going out for just one drink?

Usually no unless you get a premium table. Then there is a table minimum

Do they take reservations? Would love a window seat!

Yes, and you can request a window table. Also, there's window seats in the tea room just outside of the bar.

Does the bar have a happy hour?

Hello. The bar does not have a happy hour. We look forward to welcoming you to SkyBar.

Do i need to make a reservation?

You can but do not have to. If you want to be sure of seating your party, then reservations are highly recommended

Is there a mandatory dress code?

No, no dress code although the atmosphere is business casual or better. Enjoy!

One of our party said they wanted room temperature water instead of iced, server said they don't normally have that, but he eventually brought some, never brought the hot tea we ordered though. Pretty good selection of vittles. Egg and carb heavy IMHO. We really wanted some fruit, but that never came around until we were almost ready to leave. Almost all the hot items were served almost lukewarm. Probably due to the fact we were at one end of the dining room and the servers came in from the other end and made their rounds. Selection was pretty good , but I was craving either bacon or sausage and I never saw any making its way to our table. It did seem that by the time the servers got to our table, their trays were pretty close to empty. So maybe mixing it up a bit and starting at different corners with each rotation? But the food was good, definitely brunchie . Standouts to me were the egg benedict's (two kinds) . And the yoghurt and fruit and the berry dish. Other diners at the table thought the mini burgers and the grits were good. (The grits were too creamy for me, but that is just a personal preference) Other diners liked the flatbreads and the ubi pancakes. They do have a bottomless beverage option as well, and our server happily had the bartender prepare a couple to go drinks before we left. Final opinion, still a good deal and alternative to the buffet, especially with respect to lines and wait times... We'll be back of course, still need to get my applewood bacon.
