    Linguine with clams
    Katherine P.

We were staying at MGM Grand so this was inconvenient as we were not able to check in our room until late. Located at the District area in the casino. We had a last minute reservation and we were seated immediately. Service was very prompt, friendly and attentive. Lots of great entrees on the menu. I ordered the linguine with clams, salmon and lobster risotto. Everything was delicious. Pasta cooked perfectly and portion size was pretty generous for a casino restaurant. Ambiance was casual and nice.

I came to Luchini for dinner with a friend while staying at the MGM, and we had a great experience. The restaurant has a beautiful interior with dim lighting that created a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent from beginning to end. If you're dining here, I highly recommend the Nonna's Summer Menu. For $45, you get an appetizer, side, and entrée, and you can add dessert for just $10 more. It was an amazing value, especially for the quality of the food. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp vodka pasta was very rich and was very creamy but didn't have alot of flavor. They don't serve bread like most Italian restaurants. We ordered bread for $12, and it was huge, light and fluffy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, warm service, delicious food, I'd definitely recommend the summer special.

Went to Luchini to celebrate my birthday with a friend for dinner and it did not disappoint! The staff were welcoming, ambience was great and food was delicious. I was greeted with a birthday card on the table from the Luchini crew which was a special extra touch. The tuna tartare and shrimp scampi are a must to start with. The entree's were even better. The drinks were spot on as well. Would definitely recommend for family or even a great date night.

One of the better restaurants in the MGM Grand. If you want good Italian food and good service, this is the place to go. We got the prefix menu which is a fantastic value. I got the branzino which was cooked perfectly, crispy skin and moist meat. The sides were good too. For starters we got the charcuterie board which was okay with a variety of items. Overall very pleased and recommend.

This is for the 2 go area. We didnt dine in the restaurant. Pizza was amazing! A great slice when the hunger pains hit. We saw a sign before arriving that said by two slices and get a free dessert. We asked the cashier who helped us out. The dessert was the cookie which was actually really good. We also loved the fact they give you hot honey to drizzle on your pizza. The to go area was clean while the sitting area was not. But it looked like there was just 1 person handling it all and when there is a consisted line, I cant blame him for a dirty bar counter. We both agreed that if we were in the area and wanted a quick bite we'd stop by again. Honestly, why would you go to pieology?

This restaurant's food actually provides pretty good food! We enjoyed every dish we ordered! However the special combo they advertised and we confirmed with the hostess were not as described. They required every person at the table to order the combo and that's not ideal for some people. We even asked for management involvement because we were given incorrect information by the hostess. And they still denied us the option. That was pretty disappointing!

Wanted to find somewhere good for dinner but not super crazy price wise. Don't get me wrong, still Vegas prices here but our food was so good!!! I really enjoyed my lamb bolognese and my husbands chicken parm was great. (Only downside, can't substitute the noodle that comes w the chicken parm) it was crispy and they served the warm cheese table side! Our server was great and knowledgeable. He even brought us out a free dessert for our anniversary which was an amazing touch to end our night! Thanks Luchini! :)

We originally went to a restaurant across from Luchini, but they only served drinks, so Italian became our next choice. We arrived at Luchini just before closing and ordered the focaccia bread -- an absolute must. It was incredibly delicious. My son and I both ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and as serious Chicken Parmesan connoisseurs, we were impressed. The chicken was served first, then topped tableside with melted cheese and sauce. It was amazing -- easily the best Chicken Parmesan I've ever had. The service was outstanding, the soft background music created a relaxing atmosphere, and the setting itself was beautiful. Overall, this restaurant was extremely impressive.

Food: 3.5 / 5 The food was a bit of a mixed bag, featuring a few gems alongside some notable disappointments. The biggest letdowns were the octopus, which tasted overly fishy, and the ribeye, which came out overcooked. On the positive side, the lasagna was solid, the burrata was standard, and the shrimp scampi was decent. The two absolute best dishes of the night were the meatballs and the Caesar salad, and the lobster tail add-on was quite good as well. Service: 3 / 5 (and that is being generous) Unfortunately, the service fell short. Our server was clearly overwhelmed and came across as very abrupt. Whenever I tried to ask a question or let him know we were ready to order, he seemed rushed, repeatedly cutting me off to say he would return when he had time. There was no real introduction to what they specialize in or what's unique on their menu and menu tour honestly. At one point, our Caesar salad was delivered, but we were left without plates or silverware. We literally sat there staring at our food for five minutes before we could actually eat it. While the server was nice enough when bringing out a great birthday dessert for my daughter, a pleasant attitude can't overlook so many missed basic steps of service. It obviously wasn't a fine-dining establishment, but the chaotic pacing gave it a very cafeteria-like atmosphere.

Beef carpaccio, focaccia bread, Caesar salad

Food was amazing, we had a mushroom pasta and the lasagna pin wheels, service was great! I think I servers name was Jason, he was amazing. The atmosphere was great. And they have a speak easy in there. Definitely recommend!

    Lobster risotto

Amazing food and service! Will definitely be back! My favorite was the lobster risotto and we went to their speakeasy behind the pizza shop.

We dined at Luchini last night after seeing KA. We were close to their last seating, so the restaurant was pretty empty. Matthew was our waiter--he greeted us promptly, asked if we'd dined there before (we hadn't), and gave us time to review the menu before taking our order. To start, we had the focaccia bread and the fritto misto. The bread was amazing--crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The fritto misto was a generous portion for four people, and we couldn't finish it. For entrées: I had the chicken parmigiana, my mother-in-law ordered the chicken marsala, my husband had the burrata ravioli, and my cousin got the salmon alla puttanesca. The burrata ravioli was very good, but definitely on the smaller side--order a side if you're hungry. The salmon was average and felt like something you could get at a chain restaurant. The chicken parmigiana was the highlight of the meal--tender enough to cut with a fork, with plenty of sauce and cheese. The spaghetti on the side was just okay. Unfortunately, the chicken marsala was very disappointing. The chicken was thick when it should have been pounded thin, greasy, overcooked, and tough--you needed a steak knife to cut it. We let our waiter know, and to their credit, they removed it from the bill. The atmosphere was nice, but the music didn't match the vibe. We expected classic Italian crooners like Sinatra or Tony Bennett, but most of the night featured modern music. Oddly, the more fitting music played at the very end of our meal. Overall, I'd give Luchini 3 solid stars--some standout dishes, but a few misses that keep it from being a top-tier Italian spot.

We came in about 7:00 pm first day in MGM. I like the ambiance . Nicely decorated friendly staff . We first ordered the charcuterie platter . They had generous portion of cheese three sweet buns prosciutto salami . Enjoyed the platter .I ordered lobster with risotto. Not much lobster in your plate for the price they charge . Plus my lobster was very salty .I liked my risotto. My husband ordered Branzini .He liked his dish. I wish they served it with fresh vegetables rather than tomatoes .I tasted it didn't find it very tasty .

Ask the Community - Luchini Italian Restaurant

Is there cigarette smoking allowed inside the establishment?

No, technically in the avenue where the majority of the restaurants are there is no smoking allowed but people are rude and inconsiderate and smoke anyway. But in the restaurants especially there is no smoking allowed.

    Are shorts allowef?

I wore dress shorts and was allowed in, I don't know about more casual shorts

Pretty good selection of vittles. Egg and carb heavy IMHO. We really wanted some fruit, but that never came around until we were almost ready to leave. Almost all the hot items were served almost lukewarm. Probably due to the fact we were at one end of the dining room and the servers came in from the other end and made their rounds. Selection was pretty good , but I was craving either bacon or sausage and I never saw any making its way to our table. It did seem that by the time the servers got to our table, their trays were pretty close to empty. So maybe mixing it up a bit and starting at different corners with each rotation? But the food was good, definitely brunchie . Standouts to me were the egg benedict's (two kinds) . And the yoghurt and fruit and the berry dish. Other diners at the table thought the mini burgers and the grits were good. (The grits were too creamy for me, but that is just a personal preference) Other diners liked the flatbreads and the ubi pancakes. They do have a bottomless beverage option as well, and our server happily had the bartender prepare a couple to go drinks before we left. Final opinion, still a good deal and alternative to the buffet, especially with respect to lines and wait times... We'll be back of course, still need to get my applewood bacon.

There was only one person taking everyone's orders and making the drinks and retrieving the desserts, but the line, which wasn't too long, was moving fairly quickly. When I realized that they had coffee, I went for one immediately. Although I was inside The Cosmo and just got out of a business lunch, I did decide to skip their cookies and ice cream and just have their coffee, because I don't eat sweets on a very regular basis anymore. The spiked milkshakes I had my eyes on, but unfortunately for me, I drove here. What caught my eye on the menu was their birthday cake latte, and so I went for that in a medium cup. Hey, it's someone's birthday somewhere, right? Just a heads up, even though it tastes exactly like a birthday cake, it doesn't come with sprinkles on the top or any of that other fun stuff. The person (super nice, btw) did inform me when I got my drink is that it would explode a little bit when I would put my straw inside of the cup. There are no seating areas with tables here, so I had to go elsewhere to set my drink down so I wouldn't spill my drink everywhere while I was standing. While the drink was amazing and not too sweet, it was also a tad expensive for a medium cup ($10 plus tip). Then again, it is The Strip, so expect things to be overtly expensive.
