I was quite surprised staying here 4 days recently on a business trip. The hotel itself is very basic. A place to sleep and shower. But you pay for what you get, as This hotel was $200 less per night than other local during my stay. The room was large, a bit dated with an odd misc mixture of furniture. It had no closet, just a rack screwed to the wall. It did have a small fridge & microwave. But, it was clean, the bed was comfy, it had a flat screen TV with Directv service. The wifi was pretty poor...it kept dropping when i was trying to load even the basic web pages...and trying to stream any music was a complete lost cause. The front desk was polite & friendly.

They only give you two towels and two washcloths in total, then leave a note implying you the guest are going to steal them!

The shower knobs worked oddly and we had to call maintenance to come check it out. That staff member was so kind. Thankfully he came quickly. We heard every step the person above us took. Creaking floors throughout the late evening. The breakfast buffet on Friday was fantastic! Great eggs and sausage. Everything was stocked and clean. Saturday morning was such a disappointment. The eggs were overcooked and the sausage links were dry. They have premade breakfast sandwiches in the hot plates and they look so pathetic. Just overly hot and moist. Very unappealing. There is no flavored coffee creamer at the coffee and tea station which was disappointing. Stop purchasing premade breakfast sandwiches and put money towards the creamer.

It is irradiating to have to pay for parking, especially when we have status. We stopped to have drinks one night and waited quite a while before we gave up on a bartender showing up. Front desk staff was friendly, but I did ask which type of beds they had in the rooms and they couldn't answer the question. We were told breakfast would be weekend hours on Memorial Day holiday, with breakfast service ending at 9:30am, when we had asked the front desk the day before. We arrived at 8:30am and we noticed they had run out of most items and were no longer restocking breakfast, despite having 15 people in line waiting for breakfast and a full dining room of guests still eating (there were literally no tables open to eat). Despite all the guests waiting, they started cleaning up and outing everything away right at 9am, with no deference for the guests who had been waiting in line for food. The employees working breakfast, including what looked like a manager of some sort, were cold and not accommodating at all, despite how obvious the situation was. Even though we arrived at 8:30am, they did not restock the eggs, there was no milk for cereal, no yogurt, no hot water for tea, no bread for toast, etc. How hard is it to realize you have a full hotel full of guests staying over a holiday weekend, to stay open weekend hours? And how hard is it to order food accordingly? Our kids who don't eat meat went back to the room hungry, because the only item out was meat -- what a real disappointment. When we tried to talk to the employees, all they could say was "breakfast ends at 9am -- there is no more food." Did they really not have more food, or did they just not want to put it out the 30 minutes before they ended breakfast at 9am? The rest of the hotel is fine. The rooms were reasonably clean and modern. The pool is a joke. The outside grounds, especially around the back, were dirty and cluttered with garbage. The customer service attitude at breakfast was simply unacceptable. This hotel deserves it 2-3 star rating on Yelp, and now we know why: they just don't care about their guests.

Ive often liked Hampton Inns as they usually have a pretty decent complimentary breakfast. And these days, need to save every penny! My flight got in at 9am and I wasn't expecting that this hotel would let me check in too much earlier than their 3pm check in but the woman working was super nice and got me a check in at 10am. Sweet! I needed to get some work done so this worked out great! The rooms are nice and seems this hotel newly renovated. The room I was in had small fridge and microwave and was perfect for what I needed. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was excellent. Everything was available here. I had some oatmeal but also saw that brown rice was on offer too. This only the second hotel I have seen this offered. Parking is easy here and also a great shopping center right next door with lots of good eats and grocery too. I'd definitely stay here again! Great hotel that had everything I needed and very reasonably priced!

It was both spotless and surprisingly spacious, making it easy to relax and feel comfortable. One of the standout perks was the free parking, which is always a big plus, especially in this area. Its close proximity to the airport was also incredibly convenient and made travel stress-free. Another highlight was the complimentary continental breakfast included with my stay. They offered a solid variety of options, including hot food, cereals, fresh fruit, breads, and waffles. Everything I tried tasted fresh and well-prepared, which made for a great start to each day. The location was also very convenient, as the hotel sits just behind a strip of restaurants and a grocery store. This made it easy to grab a quick meal or pick up anything I needed without going far. While I didn't take advantage of any additional amenities during my visit, my overall experience was very positive. I would definitely consider staying here again for the cleanliness, comfort, and convenience alone.

But when they were nearly two hours late on their own commitment, nothing was done about it. No acknowledgment, not even an apology for the inconvenience. The manager told us we got free parking, which was not true. They did not comp our parking. In fact, an employee admitted my family only got free parking because of the handicap pass, not as any kind of goodwill gesture. The room itself wasn't great either. When we walked in, we were greeted by a woman at the front desk who immediately gave us an extremely unpleasant attitude. She didn't smile, greet us, or even acknowledge us. We politely said, "Hi, how are you doing?" and received absolutely no response. I understand it was late and she may have been tired after working all day. But we were just as exhausted, and basic politeness goes both ways. We continued to be respectful and simply asked for a room. That's when things got even more frustrating. Despite the website showing plenty of availability, she told us there were no rooms available. We tried to show her the website on our phone, but she wouldn't even look at it and simply stood her ground. What made the situation even more confusing was that multiple people were entering and leaving around the same time, and it appeared that other guests were still getting rooms. At that point, it genuinely felt like we were being treated differently for some reason, and the whole interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. It was late, we were exhausted, and we weren't interested in arguing or making a scene. We just needed a place to stay. Unfortunately, we left without a room and with a really disappointing impression of this property. I wish I had gotten the employee's name because I would have liked to formally report the interaction to management. If you're considering staying here, just be aware that customer service may be a major issue. Expect to be treated very poorly.

With it being a pet friendly hotel, right away you know which rooms had animals because they reek of urine. The breakfast is subpar at best, 2 choices for hot breakfast like eggs and a protein then you have your typical oatmeal, waffle maker, and various breakfast breads. The dining area is very small and gets crowded fast and loud. To their credit, the staff I interacted with was very friendly. The first room I was in was directly across from their server room which was omitting a constant ringing which was louder in the room than the hallway. They were very understanding when I asked if I could be moved and there was no issue. The second room had the urine odor but it was on/off and I would only be in there sleeping really so I didn't bother changing again. The last day I was there, however, I woke up in the morning to use the bathroom and found a freaking COCKROACH on the floor! Still alive and squirming! Given that my client paid over $800 for 3 nights for me to stay here and to find a cockroach, this place is not worth that cost. Avoid staying here if you can.

What began…read moreas an unexpected hotel stay during an extraordinarily difficult period of medical recovery and housing displacement turned into one of the most compassionate hospitality experiences I have ever had. I have significant medical sensitivities and physical limitations, which made my stay far more complicated than an ordinary hotel reservation. I needed unusual accommodations, careful coordination, flexibility, and at times considerable logistical help. Marina, Eileen, and the entire team consistently treated my needs seriously and worked with me rather than making me feel as though I were an inconvenience. What impressed me most was not simply that they were helpful--it was the degree of humanity, patience, and problem-solving they brought to situations that were genuinely complicated. They helped coordinate room arrangements, storage, deliveries, housekeeping needs, and accessibility-related requests while I was recovering medically and dealing with the aftermath of a water/mold problem at my prior residence. There were many moving pieces, and the staff repeatedly went beyond what I would normally expect from a hotel. Marina, in particular, was extraordinarily gracious and solutions-oriented. Eileen was also incredibly kind and helpful throughout my extended stay. The housekeeping, maintenance, and front-desk teams deserve recognition as well. When you stay somewhere for an extended period--especially while ill--you see much more of an operation than the average guest does. I saw people working hard, communicating with one another, remembering details, and trying to make a difficult situation easier. There is a tremendous difference between providing good customer service and actually caring about the person standing in front of you. I experienced both here. I am a longtime Marriott guest, and this stay reminded me that hospitality ultimately comes down to people. A room can be comfortable and a property can be well maintained, but what you remember is how people treated you when circumstances became difficult. The staff at TownePlace Suites showed me exceptional kindness during a period when that kindness mattered enormously. I am deeply grateful to Marina, Eileen, and everyone who helped me.
