A great place to stay with less than a five minute walk from Paddington Station. It was so convenient to get anywhere in London and the airport. The hotel has a modern vibe. The lobby is small, but it does have a restaurant. It has an elevator. The room was a little small but comfortable. The shower and bathroom were great. It had a coffee machine and a mini fridge. The mini fridge had complementary drinks, soda, water, beer and wine. The staff were excellent. We were able to check in when we got there at 9 AM. They helped us with directions and answer any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again! read more

I'm a huge fan of the Hotel Indigo chain and this location is absolutely perfect if you are coming in from the airport. The rooms can be a bit small and there is very little room to put your toiletries in the bathroom. The large bowl-shaped sink takes up most of the counter so you are forced to squeeze in your stuff uber and around the bowl. Sadly, the faucet BARELY makes it over the edge of the bowl so when you wash your hands, water goes everywhere and ends up spreading around the counter and gets your toiletries wet! Ugh!! That one detail is definitely not up to the normal Hotel Indigo standard in my opinion. Whoever designed the bathroom should never be hired again! This should be a 3 star review based on that. But.... The saving grace was the front desk and the maintenance guy. We quickly discovered that our safe didn't work. The front desk got the maintenance guy to our room quickly and he reset it. When we were ready to leave, it failed again so they summoned the maintenance guy again. He reset it but it failed again. So he proceeded to replace the safe. Those things are HEAVY!!! The poor guy had to lug it up from downstairs, unbox it, take out the old one, install the new one and then lug the old one back downstairs!! This guy was sweating profusely but handled everything so professionally. So kudos to him and the front desk for making this happen so quickly, thus the 4 stars!! read more

We had such an amazing experience here. The front desk was so attentive and kind. We had some special needs because one of the guests has had a recent surgery, and they did a great job of placing us near the elevator and giving us a room that made it easily accessible for the person. A few minutes walk straight from Paddington Station- giving you several options to come in from LHR airport. We opted for the Express Train,15min ride & runs every 15min. It was right around 1 block door to door with a sidewalk to walk on. It was easy to tote our luggage. On entry, we were greeted warmly, given a brief tho helpful orientation, then able to check-in early, as our room was ready. There are stairs & an elevator, we used the elevator for arrival- departure with the luggage, stairs between. The room was cozy but the space is used wisely, allowing for a desk, chair & bench at the bottom of a comfortable King bed. There were tables on either side of the bed, plenty of outlets, & a much appreciated "Smart Device", aka Alexa. The bed did sleep a tad hot, probably because of the type of mattress cover used. One foot out solved it. ; ) The bathroom had a good sized shower with 2 shower heads, one is a wand (water was lukewarm once, hot the rest of the time). There's serious water pressure in the sink, regular toilet (no soft-close lid) & the much loved towel warmer! As gold members, the mini bar was complimentary, which was a nice surprise. We also had daily breakfast for 2 at the attached chain restaurant. While the breakfast wasn't fantastic, it was real eggs & sometimes the croissants were warm & amazing. The gentleman running the front of the house was also very kind & eager to please. We were very happy with our stay & (especially at 35% less than the hotel attached to Paddington), we will happily stay here again in the future. read more

I booked the Mercure Hyde Park London in February 2025 and was bait and switched to the Hotel Indigo Paddington London. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE HOTEL INDIGO PADDINGTON LONDON UK. The lobby of the Hotel Indigo was neat and clean. The rooms were dirty, the hospitality staff rude bordering on hostile and the front desk was so confused/clueless and tried to appease us with free breakfasts and dinner vouchers. Let me explain. I booked two rooms for two nights at the Mercure Hyde Park London UK and was told they did not have our reservation. UGH! I showed my reservation confirm and we ended up at the Hotel Indigo (not by choice). Each room at the Hotel Indigo was very small, dirty area rugs inside the rooms and in the hallways, broken curtains, inoperative smoke detector, dirty windows to the back side of the hotel, rude/hostile cleaning staff, locked out of one room, and clueless desk staff. One room was right next to a bar area and we heard music and talking late into the night as well as lights into the room because the curtains would not close. Both rooms had dirty/nasty water kettles and Nespresso machines that did not work. One room I booked for family received a VERY RUDE and frightening knock from hotel hospitality cleaning staff telling the two young women in the room to GET OUT! Needless to say, I got a call from my two scared adult daughters that someone was trying to enter the room without permission. They did not let the person in. By the time I got to their room, the person was gone. We went to the front desk and they were clueless about what went on. We went about our day and returned to find our daughters were locked out of their room. This caused panic. We told hotel staff and they unlocked the room with little explanation as to why. Luckily all their things were still there. The next morning, I heard the phone ring and could not answer in time. We went about our day and AGAIN our daughters were locked out of their room! UGH! That phone call I did not answer was the front desk calling about how they did not bill our stay correctly and that is why they kept locking one of the rooms! When we went downstairs to figure out the bill, they tried to gaslight us/me by saying they tried to call. Really? One phone call! Hotel staff could have left a note, called again or came to the room! This is one of the WORST hotel experiences we have ever had. Do not book with the Hotel Indigo Paddington. One of my favorite hotels in London. I have stayed here many times over the years and I keep coming back for a few reasons. Although it is part of a big chain, it is spread across a few older buildings to make it feel more like a boutique. You could easily walk by it without noticing the place. Also, you get to know the staff at the desk and in the restaurant and it feels more homey than a giant hotel. The rooms are small, but you feel like you are in a bedroom in an apartment, not in a hotel, which also adds to the boutique feel. Almost feels like a bed and breakfast. The rooms are nicely appointed and the bed is super comfortable. The restaurant is not the most adventurous place in terms of cuisine, serving very basic fare, but what it does serve, it does so in a consistent manner and the food (and the service) is generally very good. Best of all, it is about a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station, which means you can walk to get to the Healthrow Express (and several Tube lines). It is nice to know when you fly in, you hop on the express train and all you have to do is walk 5 minutes. Same on the other end, when it is time to fly out, it is comforting to know you can go from hotel lobby to seated on the train in about 10 minutes and avoid taxis and tube rides. read more

Beautiful hotel right by Paddington station. It's a great location, very centrally located. An easy walk to Hyde Park as well as Paddington. Plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. An easy walk to catch a double decker tour bus as well. As for the hotel itself, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a heated towel rack which I LOVED! The shower was spacious. It was quiet in the room we were in. The Staff were extremely nice and helpful to us while we were visiting. I would definitely stay here again. We took the tube everywhere, you don't need to rent a car. Reasonable prices as well. read more

One of my few 5 stars. Last day today and super pleased with this hotel. Amazingly, stayed here 7 years ago when it was under another chain. What a difference! . Super helpful staff, bedroom positively sumptuous after 2.5 weeks slumming around Europe, the bathroom has towel warmers that can dry your sill undies and stockings overnight, the Nespresso machine and the best piece of kit is the Handy phone : free local , international calls, wireless and Google maps. Bless em. As an IHG Gold, WiFi is free, minibar free, movies free and option of extra points or drinks on checking in. Best of all is later check out for IHG Gold at 2p.m To extend check out, it's only GBP 10/ hour. Highly recommended. The gym is the best for hotel minigyms in Europe. read more

I discovered this little gem a few years ago and returned recently for another stay. I think it is one of the best bargains in London. You are not paying for a grand entry and opulent lobby. Calling the entry modest would be generous. Located amid a string small shops a block away from Paddington, the hotel entry blends in with the innocuousness of the small establishments around it. What you are paying for is a very comfortable room. Although something short of spacious, my room was very comfortably appointed with a very decent sized bathroom featuring a spacious glass enclosed shower stall. The shower offers both a large circular ceiling shower head and a slick hand wand. Counter space is limited, but I love the touch of the heated towel rack. A comfortable robe was also provided. The room provides good desk space with adequate electric sockets for laptop, phone, and ipod charging. A clock radio also serves as an ipod player. An especially nice feature is a small refrigerator that is stocked daily with complimentary bottles of water and soft drinks. Closet and counter space is a bit tight. The bed is very comfortable and the bedding of above average quality. The wall-mounted TV is generously sized for the room. And one item I especially enjoyed, your own Nespresso machine in your room. Wonderful expresso. It's location close to Paddington means that there is an abundance of inexpensive food choices in the area as well as in the station itself. I am fond of picking up package foods from the mini-marts around London, and Paddington has two: Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury. Both offer a good selection of reasonably priced food items of good quality, including fresh fruits. For a quality dining experience, the Paddington area is not a destination. The only exception I found was an Indian restaurant, NoorJahan 2 (dishes run between £9-13), located about 3 blocks from the Indigo (leaving the hotel, turn right and walk to the end of the road). The Paddington location means easy access to the Underground with three lines having stations there. Almost anywhere you would want to go you can get to with perhaps a single transfer. And of course, you are but a short walk from the Heathrow Express. read more

The Hotel Indigo in Paddington is a recently refurbished hotel located very close to Paddington Station. Although it is associated with the Intercontinental Hotel chain (Intercontinental, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, etc.), it is owned and operated by the same company as the Quality Crown Hotel nearby on Praed Street. Consider the HIP the prettier and more vivacious younger sister. It seems to be the Intecontinental's attempt at a W Hotel style boutique hotel chain. I took advantage of a pre-paid special on expedia.com. A five night stay in a double room, single person, in mid-January was $924 (tax and service fees included) or roughly £627 based on the exchange rate at the time of booking. While the room wasn't exactly the largest I've stayed in in London, the better quality furnishings made it very comfortable. Yes, the bed took up most of the room (see photo), but the mattress was firm. They were able to fit a desk, a chair, and an armoire in the room as well. Of course, there was the flat screen TV with many channels (though no CNN International surprisingly). The bathroom was definitely the best part of the room. I love contemporary bathrooms (see photos) and this one at HIP didn't disappoint. The walk-in shower was superb! Even better, the water pressure is fantastic. Those of you who've stayed at two-three star older hotels in London know that water pressure can be a problem. A good touch is that they placed the control for the water on the opposite wall from the showerhead. This is key so that you don't get doused with freezing cold water. Wonderful Aveda toiletry products are provided, so there really is no need to bring your own. Finally, free in-room wireless was provided. This was very handy. I do have two minor complaints about my room: 1. The monitor on the phone is so bright that it cast a glow in the room at night. Just throw a shopping bag over it. I couldn't figure out how to dim it. 2. While they provide a very good hair dryer, there is no outlet in the bathroom. This could be problematic if you need to look at yourself in the mirror while using a dryer or flat iron. Overall, I was very happy with this hotel. I look forward to staying here again, especially if I can get a comparable rate the next time. read more

The location cannot be beat - a very short walk from Paddington Station. Despite the very central / touristy location, I found the hotel itself to be very quiet, with not a lot of foot traffic around the hotel, even though the hotel was nearly full. I came in on an early flight and planned to just stop by to see if I could leave my luggage with them, but they let me check in a full 5 hours early! That was unexpected and was the first sign of the excellent customer service I was to receive during my stay. When reaching my room, there was a minor problem. The front desk immediately sent someone up to rectify it and offered me a change of room if I wished. Similarly when I checked out, they helped me with my baggage and offered to allow me to leave an extra bag there while I traveled out of London for a couple of days. The rooms were fairly roomy by London standards, with very comfortable beds and bedding, a wardrobe to store clothing and luggage, and a small desk. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and very modern. The shower water pressure was fantastic. I really didn't want to leave. Quite a change from the older hotels I've stayed in, where despite strong reputations, everything is a bit mildewy and worn. No such problems here! There was a small refrigerator which was handy for keeping some small breakfast items and beers cool in the room. I did not take advantage of the street level restaurant, or room service, while I was there. Next time! I liked this hotel better than most I've stayed in, in London, and the price was certainly better than most hotels of a similar standard. read more

I am SUPER impressed with this hotel! First, I arrived super early, and they were able to get me a room straight away - which meant a great shower to freshen after an overnight flight. The room is small, but very well appointed and nicely designed. The little things really matter for me - complimentary in-room bar items, HUGE shower towels, free wi-fi, and a nice TV. The Aveda brand products are super nice. Hyde Park is a nice close place to get some miles in for a run - and help beat the jet lag blues. The staff has been really welcoming and helpful. I stayed for one night at Hotel Indigo, and had a very pleasant experience there. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, probably the friendliest I've ever encountered. You can tell they really do care about their customers having a positive experience. The room was adorable, very colorful and chic. The bathroom was very impressive with a towel warmer and a spacious rainfall shower. I ordered room service and the meal was very yummy. After I checked out the next morning, I had time to kill, and they held my bags at no charge, which was SO convenient. The only negative was that my room was at the very end of the hall, past the fire exit, and it was a bit difficult carrying my luggage through the series of doors at the end of the hall. Considering all else though, I would not let that affect my decision to come back. It is a bit pricey, so I wouldn't stay more than a couple of nights. But if you are looking for a nice, fun place to stay for a night or two, I would definitely recommend Hotel Indigo! read more

I was told before I left the US that London hotel rooms (except for the very high end) were very small. The room lived up to that advance billing -- it seemed about the size of our walk-in closet at home! lol But for fairness, it had everything. Small frig with complimentary soft drinks and water, iron, ironing board, in-room safe, medium-sized tv, a very comfortable bed, air-conditioning, a small amount of hanging space and some space under the bed for not-too-thick suitcases and a full-length mirror. Plenty of British outlets and one Euro and some USB charging ports. Didn't have a makeup seat and mirror, but worse things have happened. The bathroom deserves special mention because it's relatively large and stylish with a walk-in shower that proves London has no water shortage. There's a wide round shower head in the ceiling that delivers big time and a hand wand to supplement it. Plenty hot, plenty of! Staff were professional but friendly. The location is stellar -- directly across from Paddington Station for the tube and at the end of the high-speed train from Heathrow. Easy on, easy off. Nice restaurants within less than a block (see my other reviews). Yeah, I'd stay here again. read more

A solid trendy boutique hotel located just a few meters from Paddington Station. It looks and feels like a smaller version of a W Hotel but slightly less pretentious and without the party atmosphere. The room was great albeit very tiny--I was on the top floor and it had a studio apartment feel to it. Excellent bed, and a ridiculously awesome rain-forest shower. Free wifi in the room and lobby was muh appreciated perk. The hallways while exceptionally narrow, had a cool sky mural on the ceiling, Reminiscent tof the forum shops at Cesaer's Palace in Las Vegas. The whole hotel feels very modern and clean. Location is very handy, less than a 3 minute walk to Paddington which is the terminus of the Heathrow Express. Just 15 minutes later you're at the airport! The area around Paddington while short on sights has a lot of nice ethnic restaurants and a few tourist oriented-pubs. read more

Hotel Indigo's are really out to impress me. You get to stay in a funky boutique hotel and not pay a ton for the experience. I chose the Paddington Station because of it's location. Right near the Tube station. Plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Only 2 minor "issues". The drain in the shower was clogged and I went down to get coffee at the little restaurant and no-one stopped at my table to serve me, but others sat after- were. I ended up going next door instead. As for the room, the bed was really comfortable, the room was roomy by European standards. Nice big flatscreen TV to watch free movies on. Room was funkily decked out. It was really cold during my visit so unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy the outdoor garden thingy. I would recommend or stay here again. read more

Room was smaller than what I'm used to in the US, but that was no issue as it had everything I wanted. Where the hotel really shines though is its staff. I've stayed twice now and Fontos at the front desk has been amazing. Always going the extra mile and working hard to make sure my stay was as good as it could be. Updated Review - Returned to London this week for work. With a bit more planning, it made the travel seamless. I booked my Heathrow RT online and also the cards for the train (non tube). With a print out for the Train, boarded and quickly taken to Paddington. At Marleybone station, a swipe of my visa, and all of my tickets for the week came out. Arrival at the hotel, many of the same employees. Franscesca at the front desk, Denise the hotel manager, Mark and the team in the bar. I was on the fourth floor, and while the rooms are small, it was so quiet up that high and on the back of the hotel. My room was clean each day, with turn down. The shower, the shower, the shower, I love how hot it gets and it's a rainfall shower. The hotel is trendy, restaurant is busy every night, with many if not most off the street business. Food locations near Paddington side are "okay" but if you walk to Park Lane, or by Kensington Gardens you will see many food options. I prefer off the beaten path, a little, and this hotel is in a stellar location taking into account the historic sites and mass transit options. read more

The Indigo Hotel at Paddington is located to the station. The hotel has a modern decor, the rooms are clean, although they tend to be on the smaller side - given it is London, I was not a take a point of for the size. They have Aveda shampoo, conditioner and lotion - a definite plus. We were on a business trip and got a 180 pounds nightly rate, which I think was fair for the hotel and the city. 4 stars. read more

Small rooms, decent price, friendly staff This place really impressed me, used as I am to sub-standard hotels in this area. The Hotel Indigo has small rooms (don't they all), but make efficient use of the space to provide all the essentials. Bed - comfortable. Remember (americans) to get a bigger bed than you think you will need. Given the space in the room, I'd rather they hadn't included what seems to be obligatory useless pillows on the bed (seriously - ten pillows on a double?) Shower - nice and strong. The "straight down like rainfall" is off-putting, but I got used to it. Beware the shower gel and shampoo - they all smell like mint. Ok if you don't mind smelling like toothpaste. There are shops very close by to get alternatives. Workplace - the wifi was free, but slow. Not a huge problem since I was working close by. The workspace is cramped, so don't expect to get much done. Location - seriously? It's two minutes walk from Paddington. I arrived from the US touching down at 6:40am. By 8:00am, I was stepping out of the shower. Yes, they checked me in early, at no extra cost. It's close to Paddington tube which has four or five different lines running through it. The other stuff - complimentary drinks in the fridge in the wardrobe. Breakfast on-site at the connected restaurant (a little pricy - go one minute towards Paddington to get a breakfast for half the price). Pretty good. The rooms are modern and stylish, but small. Don't be fooled by the balcony, we payed extra for one and it turned out to be an outdoor closet with no view to speak of. Wi-fi is average and we had a problem with air conditioning in our room. Otherwise, great location, right next to Paddington and the Heathrow Express. I stayed at this little boutique hotel back in April 2009 as a stopover on my journey to India. The hotel was recently converted with a hip chic flare. And the deals they were giving out to lure people in were just amazing coupled with a strong dollar during that time period. All I can say is wow.... Location: It is just like a hundred yards out of Paddington Station. Express from Heathrow to Paddington and you are there. How can you beat that for ease of access? You can't. And location wise overall is good as you are less than a mile from Hyde Park, but unfortunately you are a distance from the Thames, but really who cares as there is so much to explore on the way. Room: The immaculate room was small, but it is what I expected from a London boutique hotel. I was not expecting the 450 square foot jobs that are the commonplace in Vegas. The bed was amazingly comfortable. I have become so accustomed to bad beds in hotels that I guess I really set my bar low, so when one is comfortable I am just awestruck. The bathroom was really cool here with the huge shower and the funky accent lighting. Where they did not score with me was the towel warmer behind the door. Living here in the States that towel warmer would not be on 24/7 due to safety reasons and I didn't think that and bumped into it once and jumped back real quick. Ehhhh... it was just preparing me for my next leg of my journey. Overall: I can't comment on price as it has changed so I am not going to factor that into the rating. Oh yeah, they have little treats they put out for you every day. I got hooked on the McVitie's Digestive Biscuits that I had to track down a store and buy some. Delicious! We had to stay in five different hotels during the Icelandic volcano problem and this was by far the best place. The staff was very nice and were attentive to all of our requests. Free wifi is a huge plus (Royal Lancaster or Lancaster London wanted to charge us 17GBP a day for internet!). The room is a bit on the small side but there is a desk and a sofa at the foot of the bed which is more that what you can ask for in many hotel rooms. The room is decorated in modern fixtures and they have a huge flat screen, even big by American standards. The bathroom is awesome, I'm a tall person and the shower head points directly down raining water down on TOP of my head. This is pretty ideal for me, I'm usually a hunchback in most showers. Location is good as it's near Paddington station, didn't stay long enough to figure out the buses but Lancaster tube is nearby as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone staying in London, I'll be back! read more

We started our European trip in London and could not have been happier with Hotel Indigo. When we arrived and was a bit early for check-in. The hotel held our luggage and we explored the area. When we got back we were happy to find that we were upgraded to a larger room with an great bathroom. We had a small patio but we were out of our room so much we never got a chance to use it. The staff at the hotel was very nice. We were surprised that they were not super knowledgeable of some of the tourist stuff we were doing but they were always happy to look stuff information. The bathroom had plenty of space so we were able to hand wash a few things and hang the in the bathroom which was very nice for a long trip. The overall feel of the hotel was very modern and classy with some great art/photography of some of the more well known locations in London. The area of the hotel was nice and safe but the best part being is how close it is to both the metro/tube and the train station. read more

We stayed here for 6 nights and really enjoyed the visit. Pros: - Literally steps away from London Paddington station, so this is an ideal location if you are going to take the train to other UK spots, or want extreme convenience to Heathrow. - Also steps away from 4 different Tube lines, so you can get just about anywhere in the city very easily. - Nice walk (about 1 mile) to Notting Hill from here - perfect for a post-dinner stroll. - Updated, trendy rooms and very clean. - Free WiFi throughout the hotel, including the little outdoor terrace on the 1st floor. - Great afternoon tea - the scones were warm and fresh each day. - Very friendly staff. Cons: - Small rooms - so if you're traveling with children or plan to spend a lot of time in the room working or something, this might not be the place for you. (It was perfect for a tourist couple like us, though). - Not many great/memorable restaurants in the immediate neighborhood - you need to travel just a bit for shopping or (good) dining. - Restaurant wasn't the best food or selection (but then, what hotel restaurant really is?) Service was friendly though. I just wouldn't plan on dining at the hotel very often if you want good value or wide selection. Overall I really enjoyed our stay and would strongly consider staying here if/when we return to London. read more

This is my first time and firat hotel in our hotel list in UK. It's small facade, we almost missed in the hotel (pardon our live style in USA, with grand building and building). We got in at 7pm, very people at front desk and very helpful. Got into our room, small (again spoiled by US hotel) but very cozy. Again great service, closed by to restaurant (see other 2 restaurant reviews) so totally worth for your money while you are in Padington. Hope this help. (Ah.. The draw back for me was the bed. This is a terrific relatively low-price boutique London hotel. I've stayed at a few other moderate price hotels in London, and I agree with the other reviews. The Indigo is great. Really nice rooms--small, yes, but I've stayed in smaller. Hotel service is terrific. On Friday night, my wife and I arrived at the Mercure to discover I had booked the wrong type of room. We had a double bed and that was not going to work given my large 6'6" frame and our desperate need for a good night of sleep. Romina at the Mercure called David at Hotel Indigo. I understand the hotels are "sister hotels". David worked with Romina to find us a room at the Hotel Indigo that had not just a larger bed (two twins) but was also very beautiful. We loved our stay in large part to David's efforts. He was warm, very hospitable, and had smiles for us whenever we entered or returned. David's efforts reflected well on the Hotel Indigo. The room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the street. We did not experience any road noise. The shower in the room was very large and nicely appointed. Our room had two twins pushed together to form the equivalent of a king. The room was not huge but I've never had anything close to a large room during my previous trips to London. I've stayed at a number of locations in London and prefer the boutique-style hotels like Hotel Indigo over the generally sterile larger hotels. Given that we expect to be travelling through London a few times every year, the Hotel Indigo will be our preferred hotel. I will be sure to book the correct sized room next time too!. read more

Hotel evaluation is always a function of price vs value. Hotel Indigo is pricey (£240 without breakfast). The rooms are slick , modern, but very small, with no view to speak of. Wi-fi is primitive, and only some of the staff know how to make it work. The plus is location, right next to Paddington and the Heathrow Express, but you can stay anywhere along the Piccadilly line (which goes through some v. nice areas as well as downtown). and take the underground (slower but much cheaper) to and from the airport. read more

A+++ for front desk service. We had a beautiful room with the mural facing London Street and garden on the 3rd floor. The complimentary sodas were nice to have since everything in London is so expensive. Our room was very modern with high tech amenities. Close to tube stations and would definitely stay here again next time. read more

Great hotel in a convenient location. The rooms were clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lift was not working, but we were compensated with free breakfast and TV/movies/Internet for our entire 10 day stay. The showers were great, lots of hot water. Extra benefits if you are a Priority Club member. We would definitely here stay again. read more

Very convenient location (one block away from Paddington), great service from the staff. The rooms are cozy although very small (I had to move things around to be able to lay my suitcase on the floor). I have been in two different rooms, and the one that was underground wasn't very pleasant... strong humidity smell, no window that you can open, but it had 2 twin beds which I needed. That said, if you just need a queen size bed, this hotel is very convenient and comfortable. read more

If you are looking for clean, quiet, well located hotel in London....this is the hotel for you. Having Paddington Station just a block away was so convenient for using Heathrow Express and access to 4 tube lines. Greatly enjoyed the free mini bar, turndown service with chocolates, assortment of newspapers and magazines, Aveda grooming products, rain shower head, flat screen tv and WiFi. The staff is friendly and helpful and kept a close eye on who is coming and going from the hotel. As others have mentioned, the room is not spacious, but one can certainly move about easily, and really when you are in London just how much time are you spending in your hotel room? I will stay at Indigo Hotels again and will recommend them highly to other travelers. read more

I was here on business. The location was perfect as I needed close proximity to Paddington station. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Not many hotels still leave a mint on your pillow. I had one of the larger rooms but it's still relatively small. Plenty of room for me and even one more person. However, all rooms in London are small. The hotel and rooms are very clean and look new. The restaurant off the lobby had an excellent, large and reasonably priced breakfast. I would definitely stay here again. read more

Very nice room. Friendly staff. The staff really cares about the guests and you feel very welcome and looked after well.

This is a wonderful little hotel with a staff the will bend over backwards to accommodate your every need. The small rooms are nicely outfitted with top-notch bedding and accoutrement. read more
