We stayed at a 3 bedroom villa and the week flew by. The rooms were spacious, well kept, clean, and stocked with everything you need. We had our own private plunge pool to soak in whenever we wanted to. You are greeted upon arrival with a welcome drink and they gifted the kids an adorable sugar turtle cookie when we departed! They offer sample drinks and popsicles at the pools. Their attention to detail is flawless and everything is well thought out. The resort has an adults only pool, a family infinity pool overlooking the ocean, and another shallow kids pool. Plenty of lounge chairs and was never too busy. The food was fantastic from the poolside kitchen to the on site property restaurants to the private chefs. Honestly some of the best food I've had in my life. The spa is world class and I highly recommend it. We had some of the best nail service, massages, and facials ever. Everyone is well trained and very skilled and experienced in their area of expertise. They have complimentary golf carts that take you anywhere on the property and we never had to wait for one. Everyone is so friendly, inviting, and professional. I truly appreciated everyone's hospitality and warmth. The best part was our private butler who cooked our meals, arranged all activities and transportation off the property, did laundry, and even found our missing shoes that flew across the resort! lol. Our butler Ricardo was amazing and such a delight to have. This is a once in a lifetime experience that everyone must indulge in. It's worth it.

Shout out to my concierge Raquel, she made the stay so much smoother. The location is prime. Walking distance from a lot of restaurants, bars, and clubs. If you don't want to walk uber's about $5-10 bucks.

Lena restaurant has a swim up bar in the main pool and their menu includes pizza, sandwiches salads, and tacos. The family pool also has poolside service for food and drinks. Shout out to Fidel and Angel for their excellent service! The family pool is near the kiddie pool and play area which has a water system kids can run through and a small water slide. Mio restaurant is on it's own small pool with an infinity edge and beautiful view. Mio menu includes sushi, noodle dishes, pad Thai, and poke, all of which were excellent. We had several dinners at the Sotol restaurant off the lobby. Their menu includes tacos, steak quesadillas, and pasta dishes. Bartender/server Jesus provided great friendly service and made us feel cared for each night when we stopped by for after dinner drinks. Talavera restaurant is where the huge breakfast buffet was each morning, offering a very affordable continental breakfast, or a full breakfast. We found the continental offered more than enough options to satisfy us with lots of great choices including oatmeal with an array of toppings, granola and other cereals, about 20 different types of pastries/breads each day, and a fresh fruit bar. The full breakfast also offered meats, cheeses, custom made breakfast tacos, breakfast cocktails, and a smoothie bar. There's also Los Arcos Roasting Company coffee shop off the lobby, and Starbucks coffee and ice cream available in the Dulce shop near the family pool. This Hilton also has a doctor onsite 24 hours a day. This was a relief to us as one member of our family had an ear ache. The doctor did an exam and diagnosed an ear infection and provided the antibiotics right then and there. The doctor had her come back in the next day for a follow-up and the infection cleared up. The only downside was the on-site restaurant--the food was mediocre, so we preferred cooking in the room or going out to eat. There is a BBQ area available for guests, which was a nice option. Apparently people who live on the east coast of the US found the weather to be like their own, but as a Californian, all I wanted to do was stay inside ALL day. Having a kitchen was a big plus so we could prepare an easy and fast breakfast of oatmeal in the morning before fishing. Moreover, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots/pans, plates/bowls, glasses, mugs, flatware, glass storage containers with lids, a full-size fridge, a stovetop/oven, microwave, coffee maker with filters, a dishwasher and an electric tea kettle. One of the BIG things missing from the kitchen were places to charge devices. Hidden in a cramped corner of the kitchen counter was only one outlet. Moreover, you'd have to have a long cord to reach your device. If I knew then what I know now, I would have spent my days cooking inside the kitchen and dining in our suite with its powerful A/C rather than driving into town for every meal and enduring the heat, humidity and flies. In addition to a kitchen, there was an in-room washer and dryer with laundry pods located above the fridge. Because there was construction, the power must have been turned off because the washing machine stopped mid-cycle. As for the two bedrooms, they were spacious and the beds were comfortable as was the pull-out couch. Every room had a fan and TV. Only the primary room had a safe. While the secondary toilet worked, you did have wait between flushes or else the toilet would not flush. As for our garden view, we were all pleasantly surprised that it was much more. On the balcony, half the view was blocked by another building undergoing construction, but the other half was the view of the resort below and of the ocean which included the Arch of Cabo San Lucas in the far distance. Speaking of the balcony, there was a seating area plus table, 2 lounge chairs, and a hot tub. With the weather so very hot in August, we opted not to try out the hot tub. However, early in the morning, the lounge chairs made for a good quiet time when it wasn't so hot. Otherwise, the inside had great A/C making our stay comfortable. Inside the gym there was A/C (yay!) and a bottled water dispenser, a selection of weights, but only one set each of 5 lbs or 10 lbs, not 8 lbs or 12lbs and Life Fitness equipment, but no Peloton. If you forget to bring your AirPods, you can rent from the desk. Speaking of AirPods, when I was looking for my AirPods on the plane back to CA, I realized I had left them in the gym at the Hyatt. Aiya! When I arrived in San Diego, I called different numbers to access the front desk who found someone to look for the AirPods in the gym. Fortunately, someone found them and kept it at the front desk. In order to have them returned to me, Hyatt suggested a courier which I was about to do until I remembered my cousin was going to be in Cabo a week later. As instructed, my cousin texted before arriving, but no one replied. When my cousin arrived at the Hyatt, the AirPods were at the front desk waiting for him to pick-up. Resort amenities included 3 different pools with great views, but they were difficult to use with the weather being so uncomfortably hot. Additionally, there was a cornhole game, ping-pong, beach rentals which included PFDs because the beach surf was quite rough and two BBQs. At set times, there were games in the pool and crafts for adults/kids for a fee, but due to scheduling, I did not participate. To access the beach, follow the signs and it's a few flights down. Remember to bring your room card because you'll need it to get back in the door you exited. As a word of caution, don't forget where you exited because on my return, I went past our gate and couldn't understand why my card wouldn't work on the gate I was trying to get in. Fortunately, a construction worker took pity on me and let me in, but it was not the right place, so the construction worker helped me out again to get back out. While I thought the shore was rough, there was one teen gal who had a PFD and floating wherever the water took her. For parking, we self-parked as I needed the car in the early morning for fishing and in the evenings for meals and shopping and I didn't want to depend on someone every time I wanted to use the car. Speaking of my rental car, there's a sharp pothole as you leave the Hyatt and onto the frontage road to access the highway. Because I didn't see the pothole, I ran over it and it severely damaged my tire causing me to have to buy a new tire because insurance doesn't cover tire replacement or repair for that matter. Please fix the pothole so this doesn't happen to other guests.

Based upon a YouTuber's advice, I decided to plan a trip to the Grand Velas Los Cabos Boutique resort. Michelin starred restaurant included in the all-inclusive resort? Check! Beautiful and spectacular landscapes? Check! Impeccable service? Check! Wonderful food and beverages? Check! You need to catch whatever ride you can get to this resort. My best friend and I found out that August isn't necessarily the best time of the year to visit Cabo San Lucas, but the landscape still spectacular. And with regards to the quality of the food and beverages, I can't say enough about how high of a quality everything was. Sometimes, all-inclusive resorts don't necessarily serve high quality food in every onsite restaurant. You don't have to worry about the Velas Boutique hotel. As my sister Luch would say, everything was beyond stat! I don't know how to express just how wonderful this resort was. And the "Boutique" is the "Adults Only" part of the Grand Velas complex. The regular Grand Velas Los Cabos is a haven for families with everything that a kid could imagine. Picture yourself on a balcony with the ocean in front of you while you sit in your personal hot tub. Then imagine yourself sipping your favorite beverage while the sun rises and sets. Are you there with me? If not, close your eyes and picture it. Yeah, there you go... And if you're looking for a comparison, I've stayed at the St.Regis in Miami and you can't beat this place for the price. Ask for Victor R and Fernanda M for exceptional service!

The lady literally called security and told them that we cannot leave the resort until I signed my signature upon refusing to sign. She said that we could not leave and held us against our will until we signed

Complimentary guac with choose ur own mix-ins was really cute. The beach is public but Montage is one of the few resorts in Cabo that has a swimmable beach. It was pretty busy the day we arrived but was less busy afterwards. We came in September so it was off-season. The resort was pretty empty in the daytime; like 10 people max at the pools. The Mezcal restaurant was our favorite spot we tried on the trip (on and off resort). The food was amazing and the gym was nice too. They even have a reformer pilates machine. Concierge and front desk were super helpful. Such an amazing experience for my first time in Mexico. Came for my birthday and would come back to my room everyday to see something special. We booked a private beach dinner for our last night and it was so gorgeous; including torches and a bonfire. Everything was so gorgeous from the landscaping to the rooms and views. So grateful.
